Seriously, that's a damned good first attempt with a tablet, especially if your drawing skill is rusty! Hell, my first attempt with a tablet and I couldn't even draw a circle. Here you have a great chest that even looks penciled. You'll be dangerous with it in no time.

Graver, I do not want to hear any more about your 'circles'! Your circles put everyone else's to shame. SHAME! -
That... looks like... it would take.. an INSANE amount of time.
*scratch scratch scratch* *shudder* -

That face is very Que-oot.
I need to practice more on that type of thing. Grah! -
Very nice! Yea the tail should be longer and more curly too! It's used for counter balance y'know, not just a show piece
-
I dunno but Sizzler is awesome!!!!!!

Toxa don't listen to that detractor. *I* think your work looks -GREAT-. Sure maybe it can use a little bit of improvement here and there but really, it looks very very good. Probably better than I can do right now
Keep up the great work and never stop practicing! -
Yeah, wasn't trying to be discouraging or say it's an impossible dream, but from what you posted that you -wanted- it's bound to be a daunting project. You know the saying, you can have it fast, good, or cheap. Pick two. :P
-
That will cost you quite a pretty penny, I'd say. An issue a week? 13 pages? That'd be practically a full time job, so be prepared to pay that much.

All your static cling are belong to me!
*looks for someone to touch and shock!*

Hey wait what if that IS mine! :P
Oh wait no tail hole on those. Not mine.
Great job Alex, looking forward to page 3! -

"...I don't have any professional tools..."
[/ QUOTE ]
Never, EVER think that someone needs professional tools to become an artist. Never believe that professional tools are necessary to make good art. Draw what you love. Draw all the time. Draw wherever you are. Eventually you'll find tools you prefer.
And whatever else, never quit.

So true. I use cheapie pencils I buy at Hobby Lobby. Not super duper expensive 'professional' pencils. They work just as well.
