See that's one of my problems. Without a photo reference, how do you 'know' where to put down the lights and shadows and all the reflections and crap? I mean ugh! I know I know it comes with experience and I don't have that experience yet but STILL... good golly!

Well when I was younger I used to watch those drawing shows. Most notably that one with the guy who would draw spaceships and such and teach about things like foreshortening. Y'all know the guy, I forgot his name. But a lot of what I learned I learned from that.
Then back in ... oh around March I guess of this year, I decided that I didn't want to spend all this money getting commissions and just draw Rowr myself. Well that plan backfired as I'm still spending money on commissions and have yet to actually draw Rowr.

But I am getting there! I am finishing up an intro to drawing class at a community college, because I figure I need a good foundation to learn from instead of trying to learn stuff on my own. It helps tremendously to have a teacher over your shoulder to point stuff out.

So yeah. Been drawing as much as I can for this year really. Still have some projects waiting on the wings I really need to get to, and I will get to them sooner or later!
