Yes it's her ribbon thing that he said he wanted to be 'flowing and full of life' but I don't know how it got out there like that. Maybe if it wasn't "cut off" on the border and was drawn completely it would help the illusion some. That's why I still think it needs to be blurred a lot :P
  2. Okay I didn't read through this thread but you could at LEAST spell my name right.
    It's Rowr with an O! O! :P

    *SQUEAL!* OOH!!!!
  4. That is very nice! The only suggestion I have is when you color it, the end of the ribbon towards the viewer, you should 'blur' that to provide even more perspective. Otherwise, it's great!
  5. It costs 42 cents to mail a postcard???? DAAANG!

    Good work

Bigger is definitely better. I had been using a 4x5 Graphire4 for a bit, it still felt a little cramped (I have NO idea why they have the HUGE border around the active area). Then I ummm borrowed a 6x9 Intuos 2 at work, and omg it's a huge difference. You can use much bigger strokes and have much better control. Bigger = better.

Though I don't think you would need a 14x19 or how ever the big size is. 6x9 is quite doable. The active area is about the size of my normal drawing area in my sketchbook, and the whole thing fits nicely in my laptop bag as well.

  21. My son and I walked a half mile to a middle school to see if we could see it, but only caught the tail end of it "Someone took a bite out of the moon! Who took a bite out of the moon?" "Ooh noo!"
  22. I disagree with the site in your sig though CityInfoTerminal ftw! :P

I now return you to your regularly scheduled threadjack :P

BTW it's not a bad proposal to ask for art in exchange for services. It's all the same. I mean that's what the original economies were based on, just people started using money as a way to represent what they could do. So say a baker who needed shoes could give the shoeperson some money instead of bread, but what if the shoeperson didn't need any bread then the baker would be outta luck.
