  1. Happy Birthday Mardun and Kell!
  2. Wow that really really sucks. I don't think I want to use paypal anymore if that's how they are. I mean, if someone stole my credit card and went to wal-mart and bought $500 of junk, I go to my bank and report it stolen, I don't go to Wal-mart and tell them they owe me $500, they had nothing to do with it!! That's freakin ridiculous!

Ponder if you will your life, your very existence – your routine from year to year, month to month, even day to day. Think of the simple tasks you partake while making out your place in the world. Now imagine you, the same shell that houses your essence, your soul, but within a different setting – a parallel version of the world where subtle changes have altered the course you have taken. Your manners, your beliefs, and your life, seen in another form.

These depictions are windows into parallel Earths, featuring the lives of two heroines – Rowr and Valkarye.

In the year 2138, the world has descended into lawlessness. Brigands roam the streets, and there is no peace. Small bands of marauders pillage and plunder what they can, by any means necessary. Two rogues, taking matters into their own hands, decide to bust in on a rival gang and take everything....

Run now or YOU will be next!!!!

Picking an agent to track down and banish the demons Odin sent the were-tiger Valkarye, who’s tracking abilities would prove invaluable. Just days in the city Valkarye’ path crossed with a sure-shot but mysterious archer named Rowr – together the two scour Paragon for the demons.

Moscow - The thriving commercial center of Eastern Europe. Known as one of the largest and wealthiest cities in the world, it also boasts a large number of individuals endowed with special abilities and powers, on both sides of the law. Six months ago everything came to abrupt halt for the grand city as an alien invasion appeared overnight in the sky, a terrible and devastating battle ensued for 14 days. Upon the conclusion of the war half of Moscow laid in ruins, untold thousands have died, and the ranks of the cities protectors were decimated.

Today the only two remaining heroes of the once great metropolis lead a rag-tag band of Russian military on a quest to once and for all to vanquish the Rikti forces. The heroines Rowr - a humanoid tigress with ferocity in battle unmatched by any other - and Valkarye - discovered as a baby, raised by the military and taking the moniker based off a note found with her body – work tirelessly to see the day when the last alien has been destroyed.

Not another step back! For the Motherland!

Welcome to a world of shadows, a world of espionage. A world where information, not currency, is the true power and the wrong word can topple nations. A world where nations entertain each other, weaving false truths to satisfy one another, but their agents sulk in the background attempting to gleam any information they can wield as blackmail. Follow two agents, while having no allegiance to any one flag, who work for a secret operation under N.A.T.O as they race to hinder the forces of evil.

The duo consists of Tessa Jonsdottir – codename Valkarye – who is the ‘eyes and ears’ of the team. A technical expert, trained for five years at Quantico, she oversees the daily planning of operations and maintains all communications in the field. While more at ease behind closed doors, monitoring and relaying information to her partner, Valkarye is a master with range weaponry, choosing the crossbow for being unerringly deadly and silent.

The second half of the team, the infiltration expert, is Rowr – true name classified. Once a target is identified, whether an object or person, Rowr's job is to obtain and/or remove. A master in the art of mimicry, along with the skills to infiltrate any formal setting Rowr attempts, she usually completes her task with little fuss as possible. A formable fighter, she calls on her martial arts skills along with her deadly claws when all possibilities of parley have failed.

Welcome to a world filled with hidden eyes, watching and gathering.
  10. Or Mardi Gras. Or New Years Eve. Or Saturday night. ^_^

So, what's a good one to get? I mean, there must be differetn kinds, is one better than the other, perhaps?

    [/ QUOTE ]

There are indeed many. My recommendation would be to see if you can't find a friend or someone you can borrow one for a bit and try it out before you commit. I started out with a Wacom Graphire4 4x5, and while it was great and awesome, I recently came upon an Intuos2 6x9 and it's LOADS of difference. Bigger is definitely better !!! 6x9 is a good middle size, though there are 9x12's too.

Is the stylus some sort of megnet, so, for example, I can't draw with my hands? I generally, draw with the side of my hand resting on the paper, so if the tablet is going to be sensitive to my hand doing that... it just wouldn't be good...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, the stylus does all the inputs. So you can rest your hands all you want. And you won't 'smudge' the paper

    [ QUOTE ]
Do only certain programs work with tablets? I only have MSPaint and Picture It(never did wind up getting The Gimp...), or would it come with its own little program?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Tablet basically acts like another 'mouse' for your computer. The 'drawing area' on the tablet itself maps to your screen, and wherever you put the style down the mouse cursor will appear. Yes you can even play CoH with a tablet :P So you can use any program you want with it. Now, there are some programs like Photoshop etc that can read the pressure sensitivity, and that's good The harder you press down on the stylus the darker your line will be, or any of a number of other programmable effects.

    [ QUOTE ]
Are they like touch-screen moniters? Will I be able to see what I'm doing on the tablet?

    [/ QUOTE ]

There are touch-screen 'tablets', Wacom makes one called the Cintiq. It is out of the price range of mere ordinary mortals however.

    [ QUOTE ]

I guess that's all i have to ask, I harldy have enough money for one(I bet they're expensive...)

    [/ QUOTE ]

They do vary in price range. Do some research. The smallest ones go for around $99, to the bigger ones that can run $300-500. Find something that's about mid-range. Do your research :P Bigger is better!!! Really!
  12. Happy birfday!!!!

May you eat a large antelope!
  13. Oh. You have to have 3dsmax.

    Guess I'll stick with Daz 3d :P
  14. I think Kai said it was Jewel Staite.
  15. Very interesting! Looking forward to seeing who you select and the results!
