Yeah I don't believe anyone who saids GR going to fail for a few reasons. How do they even know what GR going to be like?

1.) If they are in the Beta they are really braking the rules.
2.) If they are playing the closed beta it's still being worked on so the "EPIC FAIL" is for something that not even finished so judgment there is flawed.
3.) Twits from Devs about what's going on is very restrictive so info there is minor to none due to Marketing censorship and of course not wanting to spill any real goodies (For both the WOW factor when it goes live and not wanting to give competitors a heads up). And even if another game developer knows what they are doing unless they are working on GR directly how would they know what being done?

Conclusion is that anyone saying it's trash and going to fail is full of (Random bodily waste here). Either a plant, a Doom sayer who would see everything as Bad no mater how good. Or had to much Dyne and turning into an Internet Troll.

Dreg focused his mind and once more became hard to see as he manipulated people to ignore him. This didn't have as much of an impact on those he wants to see him thought. Then he lifted up off the ground. "Alright lets get going and take down this Skull leader."

With that he moved hovering just inches below the ceiling as he headed in the direction of Horton's fortified room. He went slowly trying to spot any traps.

Aineruda entered the portal just a few moments before the tree fell.

The Captain drew his swords once Tafari appeared "No one threating she said!" He rushed forward just as the blast from the lighting clap hit him he fell. Then rolled on to his feet.

Seeing Jade's reaction and the collapse of Bysis Rotten let out a monstrous scream. "I don't know who that was but clearly she was a friend. YOU THINK YOU GOT POWER! You have Nothing!" The Zombie charged The lighting strike burning his flesh but it was nearly instantly repaired thanks to no small part to his overwhelming Strength of Will.

With a quick shift of his powers he made sure his rage enhanced Focused Accuracy was true as he blasted with all the dark energy he could muster drawing from the netherworld the grasping tentacles that lashed out at their target.

Kitsune Knight right. Someone else needs to tell you how to access the EU servers. I think you have to change the updater file. Much like how you change it with -test to get on the test server but I have no idea how you do it for the EU servers.

Balam ignored them it wasn't important he had to follow the group or Mistress be angry. Balam shivered remembering the last time he didn't obey. "Balam will not be made to put on dress and bows! NO NO Balam follow orders!"

Elvin Council
Aineruda stepped through the portal just moments before the tree fell.

"Then the Outsiders craft took off with her dying body! These Outsiders are a major threat they polluting the Forest! We must do something now before they harm the Heart tree further. " Durlan said not seeing the portal appearing right behind him.

"Stories of my fatal wounds and Kidnapping are greatly exaggerated. Thought by now we all know you do enjoy stretching the truth." She said as she leaped down from the portal. "Indeed I had a trip but for a good reason. The Gre'shil forces will not attack us anytime soon. Thanks to my visitors and one particular named Akat."

"Lady Aineruda! I was so worried about you." Durlan said trying to recover. "I'm sure you are Durlan. You should be very worried about me I can't prove it but the Elvin Man that shot me is one of your supporters and if you had any involvement with him. Well Like I said I can't prove you were involved however suspicion is enough to eject you from the council."

The Council of course picked up talk at this and Durlan was complaining but she ignored it all then rose her hand.

"With the champions from the new realm that appeared we are working on plans of stopping the Machine threat of the waste so the Human Refugees can return to there native soil. There is also a possibility we can stop Patches from snatching other chunks of worlds. This is only possible with the Champions my PERSONAL guests here any threats against them is a threat against me."

"Last it does seem there is a blight in our Forest but from what I could see it was here long before the new Visitors appeared. I will not have any arguments now! It's late and I almost died today. In that case I need sleep so council meeting is suspended until Hour before noon. This impromptu and unnecessary meeting is over." With that she turned ignoring calls and Durlan's outrage rants.

Heart Tree

Ever since Graxitica entered the Forest the Heart tree was rushing to develop all the seeds it could.

It didn't know Graxitica power or abilities but it was scared and survival of it's seeds was now top priority.

Soon the Tree ships even the Mutated one lifted off the ground and started collecting the matured Seeds. Thought the one infected was also spreading the blight to the new seeds it was storing.

I thought of a secondary plot. Technically Rotten is dead and before that he was an Arachnos Wolf Spider trooper.

Be interesting if someone comes to claim his soul and send him where he belongs.

Well that all I came up with. As for the wandering Spirit she should be from the Wastelands. She a suicide and her personal and she craves life that she wasted. AGH Altitus kicking in... must not give in!

Everything you know about other MMOs... forget. CoH is a whole other animal. Being on a Trial you are limited to getting only to level 14. That said some of the being content is a bit outdated however things do get quite fun and Mission arcs a joy to read and run.

The Hollows would be a good place to run missions it got a small revamp a few issues back. Story arcs start there starts at level 5.

When you go full game remember this....

DON'T RUSH TO 50!

Yeah having a level 50 is fun and all but the thrill of CoH is the stories you get involved in. Both Hero and Villains (thought not as much) can choose multiple paths to level 50. New content is added for free every so often (Give or take 3 free issues a year) Issue 18 shades of gray is the free content that goes hand in hand with Going Rogue. Issue 19 is said to be the New end game content.

Issue 17 added new missions for level 20+ so unlike other games we get things across the board. You can even turn off XP gain in order to stay in level range of a story line your following.

P.S. Ask any thing you like here on the Forums I think we can now call ourselves the Friendliest Game Forum on the net! Thought that just my view. We do have Trolls but even they are tame compare to some other Forums. We are Newbie Friendly!

Then he heard Jade "Everybody, let the pulling take you! Don't fight it! That thing cheats!" Rotten smiled an idea forming in his mind "Yes Baroness! Come along I got an idea and I need to talk with you!"

The old saying goes should you be scared when a Mad man stares? A better question would be should you be scared when a Zombie man smiles. Rotten was smiling that Reaper might cheat but so did Rotten. He even laughed as the transportation took hold.

Captain Belanor watched as people appeared. Then he saw Rotten "What... He's dead!" He drew his swords and moved to guard Aineruda. Rotten looked at the Captain "Your an Elf so what's your point? And I prefer living impaired thank you very much. Besides what you think your going to do to me ask Jade I been cut apart a few times so those swords wouldn't do much."

"I would think Bysis wouldn't bring anyone that's a threat so at ease Captain." Aineruda said and Captain Belanor put his swords away mumbling something about strange outsiders.

"Durlan would be talking to the elven council. I know you want to take him on but for right now he's mine." Aineruda said to Akat "Besides Akat you have a duty to guide those ships of yours first."

Then she looked to the darken forest "As for that I think we can wait till tomorrow. It is growing late and I for one would like some rest before facing yet another threat to my life."

"Cerelassion please be a dear and take our guest to one of our visitor cabins and help with the new arrivals of refugees. Captain Belanor I want guards around this... changed area and track how fast it's spreading. Under no reason would anyone enter it or be out of sight of another guardsman. Also have... the assassin taken care of. I want it kept a lid on... no wait knowing Durlan he be trying to make sure people believe it was done by outsiders. So tell everything you know."

She looked around again "If you all excuse me I have to make a grand appearance." Then she smiled and looked at Paxtera "Speaking about grand appearances would you be so kind as deliver me right in the middle of the Council chambers." She motioned to the west. "It's a round building in that direction largest one in the entire valley."

Cerelassion looked at the darkened Forest "Fascinating but in such the wrong way. Oh well would you all please follow me to the Refugee camp. There be chambers that you can rest in for the night." He started off heading for the farthest part of the cliffs away from the desert. "The Camp area used to be a waterfall but that was before we arrived here. The canyon carved by the falls provided a nice spot for the refugees. Surrounded by Granite and away from the Desert the sensors of the machines can't detect them."

So far none of the Fey seem to notice the mutated forest. But one yellowed shirt Gnome was worried. No it didn't know about the forest but it did know it saw something that shouldn't be something even his ageless nature was to young to have seen first hand.

Like any one living today knows about Nazi's and Hitler so does the oldest Fey in this patch of Forest knew of Graxitica nature. That particular Gnome was walking a line the same path Graxitica took through the Forest till he crossed into the changed Zone. In the Gnome's mind was a simple thought. 'Dark one went this way then stopped being... where did dark one go?'

(( Sorry I haven't been posting. Did something foolish and go my brain implanted in an Alien Robot on some distant plant called Cybertron... Yeah I got War for Cybertron and been playing that.))

It would also help to know how old the computer is. Some Warping maybe due to simple age. For example a computer that thought everything else could be upgraded has the same Hard drive for the last ... say 6 years. That 6 Year old hard drive would be wearing out.

If Warp for what ever the reason is the problem. BACK UP NOW ASAP RIGHT AWAY EVERYTHING! If the Hard drive is going it's just a matter of time before it is lost.

Another Possibility is your Computers FAN could be starting to wobble. Or the Power Supply fan.

when the click happens is it up front where the Drives are? Is it in the back of the computer where the cooling fans are? Or somewhere in the center perhaps the CPU cooling fan.

Well gain one more level and you can start the level 20 missions. Striga island is a good story.

Stephanie Peebles is the first contact opens at level 20. You can get to Striga via Talos Island.

Run a few paper missions after the safe guard you should be given a new contact.

You might also want to open up your contact list and see if you have Montague Castanella as a contact.

Gre'shil Village

Tila watched as the ships faded into the night sky. "Strong... but young still. Hunt well Akat." She then turned looking at the Village as things were beginning to settle. She had a lot to do she needed to take over the clan. Sure officially she did when she fought Rana but there were issues of gaining the backing of the families head mothers choosing who would be her aids. Sighing she wonders if it was just easier to be a Kaja and living on her own.

Desert

"Get the people out of here! If that thing gets to close I provide cover. After all what would it do to me, kill me?" He wasn't standing he was moving and he leaped into the air crossing nearly 50 yards in that leap. It was a small one he could do alot more but he did want to stay near Jade and the people.

Elven forest

The Captain sighed "Don't think I enjoy this kid. But like I told Durlan I'm a man of the law and the High Lady was taken out of our land to who knows where. However given you are young you can lower your arms I'm not going to tie you up."

Considering the glint in the sky that heralded the range runner's return just then, it was somewhat doubtful that the Captain would be inclined to take her anywhere before it landed.

Just as before, it set down softly, changing shape to feather the set-down before opening up again, the access ramp gently contacting the ground while the engine noise ebbed off. Aboard, Akat smiled confidently back to Bisys and Lady Aineruda over the backrest of her seat.

"The others should be right behind us." she told the elven leader, "I hope you don't mind taking in a few more round-eared yous, heh. I'd take them to At, but I don't think they'd survive there..."

The Captain turned and looked inside and dropped to a kneel "Lady Aineruda, I'm glad you returned I was given orders by Durlan to arrest all the outsiders for your Kidnapping."

He looked at Kethara "It's clear none of you were involved with the assassination attempt so as of now all charges are dropped."

Lady Aineruda walked out of the Range Runner "We can ease the alert the Gre'shil are a bit disorganized to attack us right now. Lets head to the Refugee camp we are going to have more human refugees coming. As well as the few Elven captives of the Gre'shil."

The Captain looked at her "You know how I feel of the Humans, I will send some of the guards to aid in peace keeping." He turned to one of the Guardsmen "Stay here in case the other Outsider returns from the..." He looks into the Mutated patch of forest. "There"

Aineruda looked at Kethara "As far as I know every young lady of any species need sleep and food. It's getting late so lets get everyone set up for the night."

(( After all it just turned dark when Rotten and Liz exited Paragon.))

Rotten blinked and looked at his hands seeing black bone like groaths and then there was the horns on his head. "Um... Okay so I'm a Demon now. At the very least looks like one."

Balam scurried across the road to another hiding spot trying to get a better view. "Oh they disguised themselves."

Outside Scarlet Phantasm saw the Troll bust out of the skylight. "Damn so the cops got here." She backed up and looked around the corner counting how many cops were about. Her hand rose up and fiddled with an amulet around her neck.

Resisting the urge to go in and fight she turned and headed south. There were other Skull hang outs and she needed time to plan.

Dreg looked around as Darkgloom reappeared "Lets get her sent to the Zig before big green and Ugly gets the idea to come back."

"Clipped artery. Needs doctor."

He turned to look at Quex "Damn perhaps the cops outside have a medical unit."

((Boy is Akat messing up the Gre'shil way of life. Okay took me some time to figure out what going to happen and why.))

Gre'shil Village

PANIC! the Gre'shil life was in chaos. The times with out a High mother was always stressful but now they were watching silver "GODS" come and take the human slaves away. They were seeing the machines from the desert as Gods so it was logical they saw the Range Runners as Gods as well.

What was more that these Gods were summoned by Akat who already demonstrated powers beyond what the Gre'shil could understand. Then in one of the Range Runners was a Pointy Ear one. But what shocked them most was Bisys she smelled like a Machine but talked.

As the Range Runners flew over the Village the Gre'shil were reacting. Many were fleeing fearing being destroyed like the Humans in the desert. Others dropped to the ground bowing and praying. One even was holding up her own offspring thought it wasn't clear if it was for the "Gods" to bless the child or she was offering up the little one to save herself.

Many were walking around as in a dazed unable to grasp what was going on. Then there was the Family Head Mothers and the Clan Mothers. They seem most in control and if Bisys, Aineruda, and Akat would pay attention they would see the Mothers Focus intensely on some panicking Gre'shil and then the Panic seems to settle and calm.

It dawns on Aineruda what was happening. "By the Heart tree, they have mental abilities. It's weak nothing compared to my own but look the leaders are able to influence the others."

That was what was going on the Pack mentality was so integrated in the Gre'shil way of life that a weak form of telepathy ability has developed. Biology wise this activates when a Female Gre'shil has young. The side effect is that the Gre'shil Leaders most powerful the High Mother are very restrictive on which Female can mate in order to be able to manage and control the others.

Tila looked over at Akat "Much happening please send silver Gods away." She looked into the Range Runner at Aineruda "No High mother now we no attack unless new High Mother when one rises chooses to. Many days from now High Mother only rises during Full Moon ceremonies."

Then she turned back to Akat "That is all I can do for now. We no attack Pointy ears. We are to afraid of your anger to take round ears so they be safe. Thought that may change when High Mother Rises I know not who it be."

The Desert

"The Lighting fellow did help save the people from those Lizard things. So I'm not sure if he's as bad as you think. Just like any self styled God he has an ego the size of a Gal..." Rotten turned his head looking into the desert and the approaching craft appearing from the clouds.

"I think the talk of us running or not is over. If what that army guy said we are now in deep trouble." He points to the clouds. "Let me guess that's a Harvester right?"

Elven Forest

The Captain went over to Kethara and looked at the dead elf. "He's Kelvhan an Anti-outsider Isolationist."

Durlan of course spoke up again "Captain it's clear she killed him you need to arrest these outsiders now! That's an Order!"

Kneeling down he looked at the wounds "Sword to the heart. Tell me Durlan did she take his own sword? No even if she did the angle is wrong this is self inflicted. My guess so he couldn't betray who working with him."

He looked at Kelvhan "However I do have to Arrest you. Nothing personal but that Dragon fellow did load Aineruda into that ... what the word... Ship thing and it took off. So on grounds of Kidnapping I'm placing you under arrest. As well as any other outsider with you."

"Captain we need to double up on the guard of the human refugees as well! I want their camp watched!"

The captain looked over his shoulder "Sure right away. I take the men needed from those at the gate so when the Gre'shil attack at dawn they won't have any trouble getting in. Think you pompous ***! I may be Captain here and by default your the Highest ranking Elf but I never kept my mouth shut when Lady Aineruda gave a dumb order and I even refused to follow a few. So don't think I would be quiet now."

Red with anger Durlan yelled "HOW DARE YOU! Everyone knows you hate outsiders as much as any Isolationist how can you even be civil to them!"

"A Gre'shil killed my wife and my son. A Human ***** my daughter, in a way it would have been better if he killed her instead. That is why I hate outsiders. I hate how we had to change to survive. I WILL NOT CHANGE who I am for Political reasons! I am Captain of the Guard a man of LAW and I will serve the Law first and for most before I allow my Hate to rule me. So Shut up before I arrest you on ground for disturbing the peace!"

Durlan stepped back and the other guards watched him one even had his hand on his sword. Yes say what you will about Captain Belanor but his troupes are loyal to him and to Aineruda.

Durlan swallowed "Seems I misjudged you Captain" then he turned and stormed off.

I so agree with you Tramontane! Thought I do have demons I play them as ones that got summoned and escaped/killed the summoner. So they had to be weak to be summoned.

The Witch is my In game DS/Thermal Mastermind named Malanda Rose. She a 16 yearold who at the age of 10 entered heck via a lost Circle of thorns summoning portal. She's strong in magic and in her fright she activated the portal by instinct and fell through into hell. So when she heard a Portal has been opened it's her chance to escape.

The Demonling is following the group spying on them.

The spirit is seeking mortal life force she generates intense cold around her (Ice Tanker build). When she drains her victim they freeze. She would be attracted to the Group no matter where they go. It wouldn't be a conscious attraction the living souls of mortals is drawing her like a magnet or gravity.

The gloom had hit and Dreg staggered back as darkness seeped into his soul drawing up the horror and pain of seeing his apartment building topple over.

His mind snapped back to the now thought he could feel his spirit being ripped apart. "You want to play rough! I SHOW YOU ROUGH!" Dreg was pissed off and with that and with that anger came a rush of power Domination.

"Dreg, try that confuse on her. She seems a little weaker," Josiah tried to speak directly to Dreg. He nodded and focused his will on Emily Darkgloom trying to confuse her mind.

Okay I made a character that's basically a lizard. He has the Organic Armor Thorny Gloves but the other body armor don't quite fit with the Thick Scales.

Well look at the shoulders they are kind of a spiral.


But the Gloves and even the head option have Thorn like features.



What I would like are Shoulders and boots that match the Thorny Growth look. So I could have the Heavy Scale armored Lizard character.

This isn't a complaint I love the Spiral looking shoulders Have them on more then one character. Just would have liked shoulders and boots that had the Thornish flare.
