Do you like fishsticks? -
It's probably a good thing the drop rate is so low, hopefully this means you won't find pvping for the sake of drops alone, which could give devs reason to think pvp in its current state is more fun than in actuality.
(ps. writing this with a ps3 controller on the in built browser, and how novel it is. Frivolous, without a usb keyboard, but novel.) -
You know I actually said that once... I feel like such a [censored] now lol

It'd be a bit harsh if they only brought up one server. Especially if it wasn't union. >

I think what that article means is that MMOs in general have a steeper learning curve than than 'regular' games, which in my limited experience of other MMOs I would have to agree with. I think coming to CoH now as a new player would find the curve a lot steeper than when I first joined as it was pretty bare-bones back then, much easier to grasp as a newbie I think.

You're paying 5 subs so I don't see a problem, you're practically subsidising the very n00bs who be hatin' on ya.

Only got experience playing on one comp, but if you do the trick is to pick the most useful toon and make that the priority, the one you spend most of the time playing, if you alt+tab all the time you'll be severely cutting down on your efficiency, particularly if one or more of the toons are efficient enough on their own anyway. For secondary clients, auto the most useful power to spam as befits the situation - say one of your secondaries is a kin corruptor, when fighting mobs you'd put it to follow your main then spam its highest dps power on auto-attack (alt-tabbing to SB yourself every couple of mins, and maybe fulcrum shift depending on spawn size), but once you switch to AV combat you'll find Transfusion a far more useful power to put on auto for its combination of healing and -regen.
Obviously beyond this, the only powers your secondary will be using apart from exceptions when alt+tabbing to them (which as I said you'll probably want to keep to a minimum to maintain efficiency on one character) will be toggles. Therefore the more toggle-based a character is the better suited it is to being used as a secondary, as it loses only a fraction of the efficiency it would have lost if all its powers were clickies. For example you'll find a good secondary from any sort of sonic dispersioner, with an AoE or ST attack on auto depending on spawn size, it'll be a lot less inefficient than if you were playing something like a rad as a secondary, as a lot of sonic's good pve powers are self or ally-based toggles, and the useful shields only need to be spammed every 4 mins, keeping alt tabbing to a minimum, whereas to get anything out of rad in killing mobs you'd be alt+tabbing a lot to apply the debuffs, though granted keeping the toggle debuffs on an AV would be effective, applying Lingering Rad without sacrificing dps in the form of putting it on auto would be more difficult.
Never done it myself, but if you were doing it with multiple comps, I would make sure to increase efficiency by pressong keyboard numbers rather than mouse click powers, and I'm sure a lot more would get done, as (especially when it's a long period of standing still such as point defence or protracted AV fights) it's not too difficult to play one handed, probably being barely noticably different from 2 people playing, apart from maneuvering which would take more effort (beyond just getting one to target the other and pressing 'F' :> -
Considering the constant inflation that seems to be happening, just letting it sit there seems to do nothing but make it slowly worth less and less as time goes by

I meant patron changes btw.
Pentad is when a team of 5 is formed of the 5 main ATs: Defender, Scrapper, Blaster, Tanker, Controller or MM, Corruptor, Brute, Stalker, Dominator.
The addition on pain domination makes pentads a little bit less harsh on MMs whose main other option was to run a forcefield mastermind in their team. Ask how many Hero pentad teams would have had an ff in them by choice and you get the idea about how unbalanced pentads were. It also allows villain teams to better emulate hero teams in terms of make up, and even the big gap that the absense of empathy left in VvH PvP (Villain vs Hero Player vs Player) -
Just make the hold duration equivalent to the stun duration of Cosmic Burst, and then make the damage the same too. That way the hold will be more of a shiny secondary effect and Elec Blast gets some real ST damage.

Anyone still have the link to that epic "NO STAKAH :<" pic?

I do like what Pain Dom brings to pentad and VvH, as well as the new vill epics.
