In addition to what's in that guide, if you're doing the mission naturally (NOT via Flashback), and solo, bind a key to /leaveteam (/bind X leaveteam). If you haven't got the badge and are almost out of time, hit the key and you'll be booted from the mission and the map reset, allowing you to try again.
If you're on a team, you may not be kicked from the map, and it will NOT reset, regardless. If you're doing it by Flashback and you use this method, it will pop up a message asking if you really want to quit, and if you do, the whole Flashback will cancel. -
Right now, Going Rogue is necessary for side-switching. Note that it is no longer available in the online store; it would have to be purchased through a brick and mortar store, or possibly through a third party online seller, like Steam (if they still sell it).
However, when Freedom goes live, Going Rogue will be included in all VIP subscriptions. If they decide to go Premium, they will have to make a one-time purchase of the Alignment system. If they want to play on a Free account, side switching will never be available. -

Did you switch sides at any point? The Hero and Villain arcs are separate, and if you do one, then switch, the other becomes available. If you're midway through and switch sides, the one you're working on locks out as "wrong faction", and you have to start over on your new side. This is changing in i21; they will be considered the same arc after that.

Quote:If your costume gets genericed, it can be recreated (with about 5 clicks, if you had it saved). If your name gets genericed, it goes on a "banned list" and new characters cannot be created with that name. Existing characters with that name are unaffected (unless they are /petitioned as well). I doubt you could select a name off the Banned List with a purchased rename either.I petitioned him every time I saw him for like 6 months straight. Never got Generic'd, or if he did he renamed/rerolled or something every time. Hadn't bothered to look him up in a long time and don't plan to do so.
So he was one of the lucky ones where the GM who took the call was unfamiliar with the IP in question, as hard as that is to believe in this case. -

No, from what Posi said on one of the uStreams, buying everything thatwas in a Booster Pack will cost more than buying the Booster Pack. The benefit of buying it piece-by-piece is that you can buy only the pieces you need, and possibly spend less by skipping unwanted parts.

In some cases, you can pick out bosses by their names (All Warrior bosses are "Elite" and almost all Council bosses are "Archons"). But you'd have to change your binds every time you changed what you're fighting.

It can.
EDIT: Damn you, Hyperstrike. -

Quote:To clarify: *Any* IO becomes disabled if you do not have a license or a VIP subscription, you may unslot the enhancement or replace it with a usable enhancement of your choice. It will not be deleted, it will simply become non-functional.
And judging from forum registration dates, you've been around longer than Claws. If he's got a permanent IO license, and you've been subbed the whole time since you registered, then you've got nothing to worry about. -

Oh HELL yes!
By the mid to late 20's, I'm getting frustrated with all my powers because they all need slots, and I just don't HAVE enough. I find myself looking at the late 20's much the same way you describe the 30's - I can't wait to get 3 slots per level, AND two levels of slots before being forced to take another power (that I don't have enough slots for! AARGH!). -
Zam, Zammy and... uh.... "That guy who starts with a Z".

Quote:*psst!* I already linked to that! :PI asked a similar question a while ago, because I had a Crushing Impact listed for 3.1m and the last 5 was 10m, 10m, 5m, 5m, 5m. I found it hard to believe that a bunch of people were not even TRYING any number between 3m and 10m... but that's what was happening.

Roderick buys out like 40 of them to test it.

Quote:Check this thread outI dont get the part where u say i might be seeing it sell for 170 million more.. why would i be seeing it sell for more when mine is listed for less?

Quote:Shut up! Just... SHUT UP!At exactly Level 10 (Gamble on 10 and 9 bulbs if you like for max tickets
.)
Stop and go roll out all tickets at Bronze level 10-14. You are looking to score Steadfast 3% at min level and the various Knockback Protection IO's.
My level 10 AE farmer is VERY mad at you right now!
EDIT: You forgot that the Level 10 Regenerative Tissue and Kismet Uniques are in the 10-14 Bronze pool too. -

Shield Throw was nixed because the only way it could be done would be to throw a generic shield model (not the one attached to your arm), while the one attached to you arm stayed there. They decided that would look stupid, and gave us Shield Charge instead.

I know that some redname has commented on this before, but since then, a lot of things have changed. Would it be possible to give ALL defensive sets a "Minimal Effects (except in PVP)" setting? With the number of auras that are available now, and many of them being available at level 1, and ways both now and in Freedom to unlock them ALL at level 1, we can often find something that we like better than the default appearance. In addition, for people (like myself) with, frankly, pretty crappy systems, the layered auras of things like Fire and Dark can cause ridiculous amounts of lag.
I'd also like to see "No Fade or Pulse" options for all stealth effects. -
Sorry, It's already been back for at least 10 hours.

Quote:Unless the team is a TF, and the leader is above the max level for the TF. Then everyone is adjusted down to the leader's level, or up to the leader's level-1, and then everyone is adjusted down to the max for the TF.Minor point: sidekicks actually are set to one level below the level of the mission holder.
So if the TF caps at 40, and the leader is 41 or higher, everyone will fight at 40. -
