Depends on the mission. Sometimes you can use a paper or contact mission to complete street hunts, but if the hunt specifically states a zone or neighborhood, then you have to do it in the open world, not in a mission.
-
Everything you posted makes it sound like things are working properly for you:
January: Subbed on 11th, received token on Feb 11th.
Ferbuary: Paid on 11th, received token on Mar 11th.
March: Paid on 11th, will recieve token on Apr 11th.
As I said above, you get the token at the END of the month, not when you pay. You said in the OP that you hadn't yet received your third token - you shouldn't have. If you've got the first two, then everything's in order. -
/macro I toggle incarnate
Gives you a button on your power bar that opens and closes the window without going through as many clicks. Alternately, you can bind it to a key on your keyboard:

Quote:At first I thought you meant the crafting discount coupons that we get from the day job, and then I realized you said WW. I really don't think that that's a good idea. My reasoning depends on how it's implemented:and maybe a few discount coupons to WW to offset the price gouging sure to be going on
Let's assume that the discount is 25%, either way.
1- Seller pays the difference.
I list an item for 1,000,000. You use the coupon and bid 1,000,000. You pay 750,000. After market fees I get 675,000 Inf. I am not happy.
2- Game pays the difference.
I buy up all the level 3 Fear SOs on the market, then re-list them for 2,000,000,000 each. I switch characters and bid 2,000,000,000 each. I pay 1,500,000,000 each. I switch back to the seller and collect 1,900,000,000 each (after fees).
The rest of your idea sounds fine, as long as the various boosters stack with Double XP. I think I heard that the current ones do. I'm not sure about the upcoming bigger boosts, or the Windfalls or Prestige Boosters. I'd recommend doing some testing before spending a bunch of money on them. -
Quote:The Perf Shifter proc is better than an EndMod common in Stamina, in general. I think that the EndMod is better than the proc in Quick recovery. As far as end goes, I thought I read before that the +end is better. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong there; either way works for me.
Personally, I put a Perf Shifter EndMod and proc in each power, to get a reasonable amount of enhancement, plus the proc to help out when -recovery debuffed. The 2-piece set bonus is a nice benefit. -
Quote:I've said the same thing - recently, even - and used the same post as evidence. However, that post was made quite a while ago, and Guy is or has been part of the team that works on Mids' and/or Red Tomax. I'm pretty sure that he knows what he's talking about, and if he doesn't, he should know where to look up the info.No where is this proc flagged to be friendly target only. The IO procs on the target of the power. If it is an enemy it doesn't just do squat it /will/ give endurance to that target.
This behavior is WAI, and was confirmed by Castle.
Thread Refrence, specifically, this post. -
If he does that, it will be really hard for him to select a server, select a character, enter the game, go through a door, slot an enhancement, accept a mission, craft a recipe, open a UI window, all of which require a left click. Remapping the left mouse button via a mouse manager would be a bad idea.
Remapping the right mouse button would be better, though it also has some built-in functions (mostly camera related). Remapping the center button or (if you have one) a thumb button would be best.
Edit: I notice that you didn't specifically mention the left mouse button, Agge, but the OP did, so I'm leaving the warning here, just in case he decides to remap an essential button into uselessness. -
Quote:It did, and it was. And it was removed fairly quickly. It made it to live, actually. It was even functional, I think.
I think what Dumple meant by "it was not allowed" was "it didn't have permission" as opposed to "it was prevented from". Stupid English language with too many possible interpretations of a single phrase. -
It's a hardware limitation. If you aren't using a top of the line gaming keyboard, your keyboard probably has certain keys that it can't detect at the same time. That's why you occasionally see threads like "Why can't I turn left and run forward at the same time?" in the questions forum.
Which keys become mutually exclusive is determined by how the keyboard is built, and how it sends its data to the computer. Therefore, it's different for each brand of keyboard, and sometimes even between different models of keyboards. Shift, Alt and Ctrl are all MEANT to be pressed with other keys, so all manufacturers make sure that those keys can all be sent at the same time as other keypresses.
Since the devs have no way of telling what keyboard you have, they erred on the side of caution, and made it so that only the keys that are guaranteed to work with other keys can be used as chords.
As to the mouse button - it was probably just programmed in an a regular key because nobody ever thought of using it as a chord. It's likely that it could be made to function as a chord key, but I'm not sure if that would be a good idea. Clicking the mouse button ALWAYS executes a mouse click, even if it's been bound to a different function. So if your mouse happened to be over an enemy, door or power icon, you'd target that enemy, go through the door, or activate the power. It would likely cause too many potential issues to be considered worthwhile. -
According to Arbiter Hawk on the "Unplanned Downtime Ustream", salvage can't be made Account Bound - That flag only exists for two things, I think he said Recipes and Enhancements. Everything else only has the "Untradeable" flag available to it. Making account bound salvage would first require writing new code, and he didn't say anything about how difficult that might be.

Just like the old Vet Rewards, Reward Tokens are for "time played, not time paid", as Lighthouse used to put it. In other words, if you pay on Jan 11th, you get your token at the end of the month (not the calendar month, but the subscription month, or Feb 11).
Note that it you've received free time, like under the old referral program, where it was possible to get 2 weeks credited to your account, or the old 7- or 10-day trials, these count towards your total time, and you may get the token on a slightly different date as a result. For example, I started my account with a 7-day trial, so I get my token one week "early". -
Quote:Porters to Hero zones only function in Hero bases, and Rogues, being Villains, can't enter Hero bases. If the leader is a hero, did she try using their base to teleport there? I don't know if that would work or not, but that's my only guess.
I've heard that the Mission Teleporter will get you there. If you've never purchased it, everyone gets a 5 charge version as part of their Tier 1 Reward. Not the best solution, but it's apparently one that works. -
If it was unkillable, I'd pay 600 points for it.
If it really does have the durability of the Vet Buff Pets, then it'll be totally useless - it'll be nothing more than an UGLY vanity pet that despawns every time you get into a fight. -
If it was rolled back that far, check to see if it's back in your email.

Many of your questions will be answered here: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards
Quote:-You can respec out. Yes, you'll need multiple respecs. So I've been gone for about 2.5 years now and decided to log back in after hearing about the Free-2-Play option in the game but need some help with a few things.
(FYI, I have no problem with spending a bit of cash for some points in the store but I just need to know a bit more about the way things work before doing so .)
IOs:
~All of my IOs are grayed out. I assume because their use is a VIP feature now and while I understand that I need to know if the Devs provided any way for me to remove/swap those (very expensive) IO enhancements out without destroying them in the process for SOs or do I need to purchase multiple respecs in order to salvage all of them?
-You can switch to a second build by talking to any trainer. If it's your first time, you'll have to reselect all your powers as you "level up" again (You don't need to re-earn the XP, just re-train each level).
Quote:~Is there any way for me to reactivate the IOs on my characters without stepping up to VIP status?
Quote:~If I purchase IO sets with points from the store will those slot/activate on my Presige acct characters or do those also only work for VIP players?
Quote:Supergroup Base
~I am still listed as the leader of my (inactive) supergroup but because I am only at Prestige status I am unable to pay the maintainence fee required to re-open the base. Since the SG was created by me solely for my (large number) of characters to store enhancements, salvage, etc. I need to know if there is some alternative to paying for VIP status in order to re-activate the base and continue using it.
Quote:Character Slots
~On the two accounts that I have, one has seven server slots available while the other has only three server slots available. I am guessing that this is due to the difference in total number of months that were paid for originally on each account?
Quote:~If I buy points and increase the number of accessible character slots I assume that those additional slots become permanently accessible to my Prestige account but do they also increase the total number of slots available if I up my acct. to VIP status for a month or two?
Quote:Influence
~I heard that Prestige characters have a lower Influence cap than VIP characters. What is that cap?
500 million at Tier 2
1 billion at Tier 3
2 billion at Tier 4
These are all per-character limits.
Quote:~If one of my (currently inavtive) characters has/had more influence on him than the prestige character cap allows, what happens to the "overflow" influence?
Quote:Incarnate abilities/content
~It is my understanding that all incarnate content and abilities are limited to VIP characters only. Is that correct?
All your Incarnate abilities you currently have will be greyed out and unuseable, just like your IOs are. Unlike the IOs, there is NO WAY to reactivate them, short of resubscribing. None of your Incarnate Abilities will be deleted; they will stay there waiting for you to resubscribe.
Quote:Thank you guys for any information that you can offer to help clear this stuff up for me. -
I'm under the impression that they don't HAVE a UI programmer, so any additions like that would have to be hacked together by a programmer from a different department. While it could be done, it wouldn't be nearly as clean, efficient, or bug-minimal (because bug-free just plain doesn't exist ANYWHERE) as if it were done by a proper UI programmer.

There are two types of slots, Global Slots and Character Slots.
Global Slots are not connected to any server, and can be converted to Character Slots. By doing so, they become Server slots. They only exist to be converted into Character Slots, there's nothing else you can do with them.
Server Slots are permanently tied to one server. There is no way to move them, nor is there a way to convert them back to Global Slots.
Your slots on Guardian are stuck to Guardian and will always be there. This is how it has always been, ever since purchasable slots were added, long before Freedom was added (the free ones are still purchasable slots, just awarded in a way other than cash payment). Freedom merely added an extra use for those slots, it didn't change their functionality. -
Quote:Beast Mastery has no crows. The pets are Wolves, Lions, and another Wolf. The Mastermind's personal attacks are a swarn of bees, a swarm of locusts, and a single hawk. The crows are from the upcoming Beast Mastery mastermind set.
The animation you're seeing isn't an attack. It's the animation used by Sorceress Serene when she's defeated, and by players using the Murder of Crows costume change emote, unlockable during the Halloween event. -
There were issues with allowing Power Pool and Epic powers to be customized. If you take a look at your Incarnate powers, you'll see that you can customize EVERY power you've unlocked, even if you haven't crafted that one yet. The working theory among the playerbase is that the part of the system that customizes your powers can't tell what pool(s) you've selected, so in order to allow customization, they'd have to crap every power pool, every ancillary, and every patron (even if you haven't unlocked patrons yet!) into the power customization screen.
The devs have said that they know that we pant pool/epic customization, and that they want to give it to us, but it's not going to happen until they bypass the technical hurdles. -
Quote:Wrong. There are "Crushing Impact" and other uncommon IO sets on the store. They say NOTHING about being "attuned".
THERE ARE NO IOS FOR SALE ON THE PARAGON MARKET. AT ALL. ANYWHERE.
This is an IO:
This is not an IO:
Quote:There are special attuned sets now, that you can get through Super Packs and can only slot one per character for the archetype they are made for. Well, they are only attuned once you use an "enhancement catalyst" on them(I think).
Quote:Either way, if the IO sets, such as "Crushing Impact", are "attuned and usable by any character" then they should point that out. -
There are NO IO sets that can be purchased in the store. All of the sets that can be purchased are Attuned Enhancements, not IOs. As such, they can all be used by any account.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if you were right. However, when I was Premium, before I unlocked my permanent IO license, I still preferred spending $2/month on a license, rather than $2-8/power that I wanted to slot a set in. I slot lower-level IOs, so exemplaring isn't a problem. And I'll just boost them when I decide I've got a build that's good enough that I want to spend cash to make it better.
