There are new XP boosters on the Beta Server that give 50% and 100% boosts. Just like you can only activate one XP Booster at a time now, you will only be able to activate one at a time of these as well - not one of each. They will also stack as Aggelakis explained.

Masterminds have been doing that with Team Teleport for ages. Port your pets in, while you stay put.

I expect that to get even more of a "NO! This CAN'T be just a joke!" reaction than FREEM! did.
Though the SMS and Emergency Services dispatch might be a little excessive. :P -
Actually, Max has FIVE. Three rescues, his final mission, and his personal story arc. As KM says, you only need to do the last mission in his "arc" (The End of Vengeance) to get credit. Furthermore, the other missions don't count at all for Gabriel - you can do the three rescues until you're blue in the face, but Gabriel won't register completion until you do The End.

I'm going to second Fire Blast and Energy Manipulation, for basically the same reasons.
However, my Fire/Energy blaster isn't built for pure ranged damage. I took and slotted the melee attacks, and if something is dumb enough to run TOWARD me, it's going to die even quicker. My Hasten is perma (a couple seconds off right now, but when I finish slotting the two purple sets the build calls for, it will be), meaning I've got so much recharge that I can use Build Up or Aim on every group (I alternate between them).
I personally chose to take CJ/SJ and slotted for S/L Defense, but if you plan on staying at range, I'd suggest taking Hover/Fly and slotting for Ranged Defense instead.
If you're not dead set on being a Blaster, I've heard good things about Fire/Dark and Ice/Dark Corruptors. Apparently Scourge, Tar Patch, and a rain power work VERY nicely together. -

Madness? This is Supply and Demand!

People recently bought up all the cheap purples in anticipation of converters. While many of the less desireable purples can still be had at budget prices, this now requires patience. Those who want to Buy it NAO! are being forced to higher price points by lower availability. -

Quote:More like "Pet classes are almost always the most popular in any MMO, so let's make them pay for it if they aren't going to sub."I always suspected one reason the MM class was stuck into the premium tiers when Freedom was introduced was because they figured "Meh, why not put it there....nobody really playing it anyways."
Seriously, it seems like every time I'm on a TF, there's at LEAST one MM, if not more. -
Quote:Not true. Black Pebble said that you must have an active account at some point during each day in the loyalty period. If you have a 24 hour period from midnight GMT to midnight GMT where you aren't subbed, then you lose out, but as long as you are active at ANY time during EACH day in the loyalty program, you get your rewards. It HAS to be in the same billing day.
Their billing days are calculated by GMT standards, so as long as you paid inside those 24hrs you are fine.
However, if your billing ended say, at March 28th 23:50 GMT, and you resub 15 minutes later making March 29th 00:05 GMT, you are SoL. -
Quote:That's not true at all. He counts every arc you do, regardless of how you've done it, whether you've talked to him or not. The first time I talked to him, I already had two arcs crossed off his list. The important thing to understand is that Taskmaster Gabriel only counts arcs you did AFTER you accepted his "Complete all arcs" mission, regardless of whether they were first runs or through Ouro.
He doesn't count any arcs that you completed before he was added to the game, but he started counting the instant he was added. -

Quote:That mission doesn't have an ambush. What I suspect happened was a side-effect of phasing (not the power, the zone effect).Over to the hunting ground, engage a spawn...and here comes the ambush of course! You know I've been gone for a while when an ambush actually surprises me.
Certain areas of Praetoria, Atlas Park and Mercy Island are affected by "Combat Phasing". What appears in those areas varies, depending on what missions you've completed. For example, if you return to the site of your first mission, you'll find that it's no longer overrun by Hellions.
The border of the Vahzilok area for that second hunt mission is wonky though. You have to get fairly close to the waypoint before it registers that you're in that phase, and when the zombies phase in, you're well into their area. There's even a couple spawns outside the area; trying to melee them will cause them to phase out before you get there.
Because of the oddness of this area, I suspect that you phased into that area right beside a spawn, causing them to aggro on you by surprise.

If you complete all the arcs, he gives you your two Empyreans and then resets. You can immediately start redoing the missions if you want, but he won't give the two Emps again until the seven day counter runs out, at which point he'll reset again, and show no arcs completed.

Even the lowest rewarding Trials have more favorable tables than the arcs do. Some trials have better tables, even going as far as to guarantee a Rare/VR on UGT.
The last time I looked into Coulomb2's thread in the Beta section, VRs were showing about a 2-3% drop rate.
No previous rewards have ever been affected by your difficulty setting, not even the drops off enemies, so I don't see why this would be any different. The element of risk vs reward isn't measured in the number or strength of the foes, but in whether or not there's a chance of failure; if you can't complete an arc, you reset the mission (possibly with adjusted difficulty) and try again. Eventually you succeed and get your reward. With a trial, if you don't succeed, you fail and get no reward at all. -
The villain ones are real story arcs, and can be accessed by Flashback. The Hero ones aren't, and can't be.

You can also direct purchase them for 1 Astral each (2 for Ultimate) from Astral Christy.

Quote:You get 13 tokens per year, 1 per month, and an extra one every 12 months. You probably hit your anniversary.I am wondering if there is something a little odd going on because a few days ago I received a Paragon Reward point, the Tenacious badge, and chose the reward that included the /vault command. Then, for some strange reason, when I logged in yesterday, I found yet another Paragon Reward point awarded to me, the Unshakable badge, and an opportunity to choose another tier 8 reward.
Why would I be awarded two Paragon Reward points in the same week? I have avoided allocating the latest point in case this is a bug that will wreak some kind of account havoc the moment I do so.
Any ideas?
