  1. You can also use pow_exec_toggle_on and pow_exec_toggle_off to make sure the power turns on and off at the right times.
  2. I actually took the axe on this brute, because SM is better than Sands (it can be slotted), and the Axe gave me certain utility when fighting CoT ghosts. I fight CoT a lot and the ghost's debuffs are a major speed bump for me.

I usually play solo or on smal teams, for what it's worth. But I rarely have trouble getting two enemies into SM's cone, and have hit the 5 enemy target cap before. I guess it's just a playstyle difference.

You're definitely right about getting AoEs from patron pools though. I was very happy to get both Ball Lightning and Electric Fences.
  3. Last double XP weekend, I had a mid-30s DM/WP brute, fully slotted with a mix of generic and set IOs. I spent most of the weekend solo or in small teams on Invincible. By the end of the weekend, I was level 50, with over half my slots empty because I only stopped smashing long enough to slot whatever SOs dropped to free some room. At this point, I was still destroying everything I laid my eyes on.

I've got about 90 million on that character, and at least one respec available. I think I'll be making use of parts of this guide. I really like some of the suggestions.

A question though: is Midnight Grasp really that good? I took it and was thoroughly unimpressed. So much so that I burned a freespec, and replaced it with Shadow Maul, because it seemed to help me more - mostly in that I was really feeling the lack of an AOE.
  4. I'd like to try this, but I don't have an iPhone, I have a HTC TyTN. It's a Windows Mobile 5 device with a 240x320 display.

What's the display resolution on an iPhone? Will this work similarly to an iPhone on my device, or will resizing cause too much distortion?

Whats funny is that this new zone tells me something about the Ouroborus Menders and Temporal Scaling (aka Malfactoring down).

    They lied to us.

The Ouro Crystal in the midnight club sends you farther down the timestream then the menders say is possible, you retain your full power and are even "mystically prepped" by the Midnighters to be able to understand the language, etc.

The Pilgrim's story arc, Part 2

Carbon Law is the law of Time Travel that restricts how far forward or backward you can actually travel. In Earth years, this comes out to around 5,730 years, give or take 40 or so.

So we can go back 57 centuries. Starting at the 21st century, we can go back to the 36th century BC.

Ancient Rome existed from the 9th century BC to the 5th century AD. Regardless of when in that timespan Cimmerora existed, even if it was earlier than "recognized" Ancient Rome, we're well within Carbon Law.

Also, Temporal Scaling only applies when sent back (or forward, like in the Shivan mission of the Pilgrim's arc) to a time that you already existed in.
  6. I'm wondering something about the Global reset: Are you just resetting the "rename available" flag, or is it being reset as if it were a new account? ie, When I first log in after maintenance, will my global remain what it currently is, or change to match the name of the character I just logged in? The reason I ask this is that my global on Test recently changed to the name of a random character that I logged in.
