  2. You get badge credit the instant they die. It doesn't matter if you win, lose, or reset the mission without completing. If you are on the same map, teamed with the people who killed the EB/AV, you get credit.

-7.5% per enemy in melee range (max 10)
+7.5% damage per enemy in melee range (max 10)

that would give a semi constant buff of right about 75% dps compared to Scrapper's occasional buff and Brute's fury build up
No. No WAY should the inherent be better than Hasten. (Hasten is 70% recharge, and only up part of the time)

Quickness from Super Reflexes, and similar powers are 20% recharge. You were fine with the 15% recharge/-1.5% per enemy in melee. Just the damage bonus needed changing.
  4. So.... Street Fighting, but with a stutter? :P

EDIT: If, by "full bodies" you mean a copy of the character, complete with costumes, I believe the devs said that can't be done. If you meant just a full-body sized body-shape, there's no reason that shouldn't work.

    "Stance"

    Base +15% recharge
-1.5% recharge per enemy in melee (Max 10 enemies)
+1.5% to damage per enemy in melee (Max 10 enemies)

This would make the skirmisher deal more damage per hit while in melee, but attack more frequently while at range.
The scrapper I'm currently working on has a +16.5% damage buff through sets. It doesn't make a noticeable difference. Brutes get +200% damage for a full fury bar, and usually tend to hover around +150%. I think a +5%/target would be the minimum to make a difference.

Scrapper melee and blaster ranged damage are 1.125 scale. Brute melee is 0.9 (with an up to +200% bonus). Tank melee and defender ranged are 0.8. You gave this class a 0.85/0.75 modifier - roughly on par with tanks and defenders. If it's meant to be a damage dealer, the buff needs more potential than it has in your suggestion.

SOMEONE made that suggestion a while back, and Castle came in and commented on it. Don't know if it was your thread or not.

We don't have a "Melee Damage Buff". All damage gets the same buff. There's no way to implement this without a huge change to how powers work.

Look at the bottom of this thread, under the posts, but above the reply box. See the bar with the tags?

Now look over to the right. See the link that says "Edit Tags"?

Anyone can put up to two tags on ANY thread. The creator of the thread can add up to five.

Both will unhide you, but only if they hit something. And they have fairly long activation times, so turning them on mid-combat leaves you open for a few seconds.

On the other hand, they're just as good on a stalker as on any other AT that gets them. If you're willing to give up most or all of your crits, they can add a lot of survivability. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide if they're worth it.

It still wouldn't adress the root problem of people being able to exploit the inf limit, which in turn drives up demanded prices from market flippers.
I have also been getting a larger number of common recipes. But at the same time I've been getting the same number of set recipes (and purples, when applicable). I'd say that the drop rate [b]was[/i] increased, for some things at least.

Too bad that it was something that was just vendored for scads of new Inf being added to the system. :/

True, but it only spawns in the first few mobs. Any further in will have bosses in them, if the rest of the team joins first, which my method tries to avoid.

Get a villain with the mission and stealth to take the mission at -1x8 no bosses, enter the mission, run around enough to spawn everything, then invite the others. This will force the bosses to spawn in at Lt rank, which is better for quick badge farming.

I'm not really sure why Snow Globe keeps telling people to turn on Bosses while farming boss badges. All that does is make the bosses harder to kill. They still count when they're downgraded to lieutenants, just like defeating Praetorians gets you Dimensional Warder regardless of whether you fight AV or EB versions.
  15. To my knowledge, there are no waves for this mini-beta. You're either in, or you're not.

As others have suggested, have you gone all the way to the top level of the forums, and checked for the Beta forums? Typically, the Forum sections change from English/French/German to Beta/English/French/German, so if your bookmark is set to take you to the English section, you'll never see the Beta section without going up a level.

You can also check the Dev and Community Digests. If they post in a restricted section of the forums, like Beta Forums or the PERC section, you only see it if you are also a member.

Inf is based on YOUR level, not the level of the enemy you defeat. A level 50 has his XP converted to Inf automatically, so they always get double Inf. And yes, during DXP they get 4x Inf.

    Quote:
I suppose we would also lose the chance of a Purple drop, but would that also be offset by the huge amount of Inf we would be earning?
Purples drop off any enemy that can drop a level 50 common IO. That's any Minion or higher rank that is level 47 or higher and doesn't con grey.

Maybe being a lvl 49 during the 2xp weekend will make you the most wanted friend in the game
Not really. Level 50's are earning powerhouses on DXP, regardless of the level they play at.

  17. CoH and CoV are now the same game, and have been for a while.

Install either one, and once the updates are done, you will have both. It's currently impossible to have an install which is only one or the other.

While I agree that these missions are annoying, you would seriously leave your shiny new character unplayed for nine days (Three days x three "talk to" missions in a row at a certain level) rather than run around for five to ten minutes? Wow.

That said, turning them all into MA guy/Ashley McKnight/Montague Castanella/Percy Winkley style contacts would be a vast improvement.

While we're at it, add the tailor contacts and the cape/aura contacts, since they're briefly mentioned by the trainer one time only, and I've seen a LOT of newbies that missed that message and never knew they'd missed out.

  20. In case you're thinking about using it to replace regular stealth, that won't work.

According to the in-game description, if you move, you un-stealth.

    No.

You can't avoid meeting them, but you can at least choose your timing so you don't need to cross half the zones. It's less irritating to go from Atlas, to the Hollows, then back to Kings Row than it is to go to Kings Row, then back to Atlas, then the Hollows, then back to King's Row.

Probably my least favorite would be the one where you are sent to the Kings Row PvP contact all the way from Brickstown; usually by some guy in a far corner.
No you can't. I've been sent to talk to David Wincott, AFTER I'VE ALREADY FINISHED HIS ARC.

The only way to avoid being sent to these contacts is to not talk to ANY of the original contacts until you've outlevelled them. This goes for Wincott, Faultline, Peebles, and the PVP reps (Outlevel the zone and they'll stop being offered). The Hero Corps guy can similarly be outlevelled, but I don't know at what point.

They're both set bonuses, although you're right, they do come from different sources. As Necrotech said, the bonuses have different names therefore, you can have up to 5 of each. If both were called "Huge Increased Recharge Bonus", then you could only have 5 total
