  1. Would anyone care to copy/paste the interview for those of us who can't access it directly while at work?

Who said that? Not me. I said that exporting your build from CoH to Mids' isn't a valid reason. And it's not, because neither development team works on nor supports the other program, so neither should make an effort to integrate the two.
  5. Amy's Ward also fails if used while exemplared.
  6. There are several people out there running DP(or AR)/TA/Mace corruptors already.

If anything, it's not enough redraw.

I have Marshall on a brute that has only run one LRSF, and it failed. Yes, the 45+ requirement sucks, but it does NOT require completion of the TF.

    Quote:
Yes, Geas of the Kinds ones is rough, but still easier to get than Force of Nature(can't flashback to Mayhem missions).
Force of Nature is tedious, but does not require "Flashback to mayhem missions" (perhaps you're thinking of Invader, which is +HP - something you dismissed earlier in your post) - everything in it can be earned by grinding level 50 Mayhem missions - or any other level for that matter. You could turn XP off at level 5 and run Atlas Park mayhems until you had it, if you wanted to.

    Quote:
The badges required have no guarantee of spawning in Mayhems(Arsons for Firebug are particularly bad), while you can always find the croatoan mobs you need.
All side missions save one show up in the 35+ Mayhems, and all of them show up in the 45+ mayhems. The boss for the arson in Peregrine Island spawns a block away from the entrance, while the door is right across the road. Ghosts in Croatoa, like Vampyri in Striga, are a pain in the butt to farm, unless you have the appropriate mission, or the Halloween event is in effect.

The 'easy to get' hero accolades are the hardest to get redside, and the 'hard to get' blueside are easier redside. It just so happens that makes the +End and recovery ones appear on the hard end of Redside, and very frustrating with little to no recovery help in the Patron Pools.
This part is 100% true. Recovery is a bit trickier to get redside. But it's not that bad. Smart slotting - even with just SOs - can alleviate most end problems, rendering things like Physical Perfection unnecessary, unless you're trying to run an obscene number of pool toggles.

EDIT: Dammit, Deus, stop typing faster than me!

How's this: There is absolutely no use for an export file.

And no, Mids' is NOT a valid response. Mids' is a third-party, unsupported application.

3> Castle himself has stated that he's aware of this request, that he can't do anything about it (he can only remove or replace the prompt), and that he'll pass the suggestion on to the UI team. He made it VERY clear that this does not mean that anything will change one way or the other.

Human-animal Hybrids, in most cases, are NOT mutants. If you were to go through the character roster for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for example, you would find that the vast majority were Science, a couple were Magic, and one or two (like Usagi Yojimbo) were Natural. But none of the "mutant animals" were actual mutants in CoH terms.

Only because you're using the wrong version. Like the Wikia version of Paragonwiki, that site is no longer updated. Try the version found on the Titan Network, and it's fully up to date.

Note that links found on paragonwiki.com point at tomax.cohtitan.com and vice-versa.

You don't understand the concept of a double-blind market, do you?

Also, I can personally guarantee you that it's 2 billion Inf or less.

EDIT: First in a graystar thread! I feel dirty.....

No it's not. It's a Stun aura, with a self damage component. But you're still right about having to be in melee range.
  15. All you can do is send an email to that address and ask that they send it back, since it was a mistake. Of course, if the account is inactive, nobody will get that email.

I think that if you send item mail to a global that doesn't exist, it's supposed to automatically bounce back to you, but I could be wrong.

You could also send a /petition in game or throught the website, but if they can do anything about it, which I doubt, the lowest level support probably can't, meaning that you'd have to wait for it to be escalated to a senior support rep.

"Permanent buff" means that (like Mystic Fortune and Base Empowerment Stations), the buff persists through death (and in the case of MF, through logouts).
  17. If you list multiple items, it gives the total fee, not the per item.

What you saw is a rare-ish, but still too common, bug with the new market interface. It may be related to network latency - the new interface definitely has some lag related issues. Unfortunately, when this issue pops up, there's no way to tell until it's too late.

Hopefully when the GMs get to your ticket, they'll be able to reimburse you.

Note: This is from before the addition of item mail, but that's basically the same. Just send to a global name (with @) instead of a character name, and drag the item to the appropriate area, or type a number in the Inf field.
  19. Those have always been there. Not every single mission, but I've been getting occasional ambushes in Kidnap missions for as long as I've been playing.

As I said, I normally run at +1x8.

The question was: What is quickest for mission completion, since taking too few at once hinders Fury building and actually slows things down.

While you're levelling, put in enough that it recharges before it wears out, plus a little extra to CYA if you're debuffed. Once you hit 50 and do your final build respec, take out any slots you put in it, and put an End Reduction in the default slot. My SS/SR brute went from 10 End every 66 seconds to 7.4 End every 97 seconds when I made that change to Practiced Brawler. That's a change from 0.15 End/sec to 0.076 End/sec, and it's very rare that you need PB or AD double-stacked. Romulus's rez in the ITF is usually the only time I need it doubled up.
  23. My current brute is nearly finished. He dinged 50 today, I've got most of his build slotted, and I've got most of my accolades. The current accolade I'm working on is Force of Nature, and the only badge I'm missing is the one for Arsons in Mayhem missions.

I needed 7 more of them when I started. I quickly realized that at my normal setting of +1x8, fighting through all the paper missions, and then through 2-3 spawns of cops to get to the Knives boss, then maybe one more spawn of cops, then the ambushes in the side mission, plus 1-2 Longbow ambushes, that I'd need 1-2 days to finish the badge.

So I turned my difficulty down to +1x1, and I've been running past everything straight to the objectives. Much quicker.

Here's the funny thing that just popped into my head though: Doing it this way, my Fury bar is almost at 25% by the time I finish the mission. I'm punching a minion 2-3 times to drop it after using Foot Stomp on the group. When I run at x8, my Fury bar fills way quicker, so I kill things faster, but there's more to kill, so I kill spawns slower.

So what is (in general) the fastest difficulty setting for brutes? The setting where there's enough enemies to really spike your Fury bar, but not so many that you're wasting a ton of time cleaning up extra enemies? I suspect that, in general, it's going to be around x3-4, but that may vary a lot depending on the level you run at (-1 to +4), and your power sets.

It does seem counter-intuitive that increasing the number of enemies would speed up mission completion, but I'm fairly certain that in most cases, it would.

    Ticket rolls

Rolling in the 10-15 Bronze range will always give good results. It will be 90% crap, but the other 10% will be Karma and Steadfast KB Protect, Steadfast Res/Def, Regenerative Tissue: +Regen, Kismet: +Acc and a couple other nice drops. It's probably never going to be the BEST place to roll, but it will be a good one.
