Here is our base. The supergroup actually started out as just a reason to keep folks from inviting us to SG's because we did not have CoV and saw no reason to join one.... Around the time we got CoV, there was someone who posted about his supergroup of one with a base and it became a challenge to do something like that. We now have about 17 bonafide members not counting alts. Our goal is very realistic, maximize this plot size for a PvE focused base and group.

I really like these last two. As someone who belongs to a group that will be on the basic plot for the forseable future, these really provide inspiration.

Thanks squirrel, but my post has absolutely NOTHING to do with artwork or artistic styles at all. Sorry for the confusion. My post is specifically about the business aspect of art commissions, website design, and content that I personally wrote, copied for someone else's service.

This is something the internet is famous for unfortunately. Building a website is easy, being creative is a different matter. Way back when, in the old days when I use to create websites, I admitedly surfed the web looking for creative ideas. Ideas to start my own creative juices flowing, I never copied anybodies work. I will say, I often found images and buttons I created showing up on other websites. Some of it, as tacky and lowbrow as it it, you'll never stop. What Your talking about, borders on "knock off" territory. -
It is a classic pose. Almost like a vintage Sci Fi movie poster. Very cool.

Very nice! Love the globe approach but the individual works in and above themselves are awesome.

Okay, 2 weeks ago I posted a sketch of roxstar
and I was wondering how many people actually saw it.
Please critique it if you want, but I just kinda wanted to see if anybody actually visits my thread. Juggerthas' sketchdump or individual piece thread just got me wondering. I stopped posting individual piece threads because I didn't want to crowd the boards with my posts, but I don't seem to get any critiques when I just post it in my Pep art trade thread.
I like getting critiques, so I'm justing trying to figure out if I'll get more if I post each drawing individually.
Thanks for your time

I tend to visit the "Art dump" or mulitple piece threads, whatever you want to call them less than the individual piece threads. That said, I do remember this piece. Liked it then, like it now.
Nothing I can really offer you in the way of critique. I think your style has developed into something unique that when I see it, I know it is a piece by Pep. That's a good thing. Just my opinion, but hand drawn art is at it's best when it is less anotomically or structurally perfect so that it has some interpretation from the artist that shows through. It's one of the reasons I like to pop in on the postings of the numerous talents we have here, to see their interpretation of things. -
Love the lighting in the pic. This is one cool piece.
-
Nice pic. It would be nice if there was long dresses available in game. Hooded cloaks too.
-
Nice! Love the little guy with the snow cone.

I always find myself at a bit of a loss to offer serious critism of pieces drawn by hand or "drawn" by computer. One of the things I look forward to seeing is everyone's different styles and how they interepret characters. In that vien, let me say I really like the piece. It works. You've captured TA very well I think and everything sorta "fits" for me. Not really knowing what your happy or not so happy with about the pic, I don't know that it needs anything....
-
I'm really looking forward to seeing this one in color.

I remember as a kid, waiting for the Chrismas edition of the Chrismas catalog to come. Toys! Toys! Toys! This kinda reminds me of that.
I was broke then too.... -

The coloring was done in Illustrator CS2. I was happy with the boldness of the colors. It's bright lol. I may print one out at work and frame it and hang it in my bathroom.

Yes, the colors on this rock. I love the style too. They both work well together. -

haha... um, thanks!!
Actually, I wonder about the views. I don't think it registers my views of the subject (cuz if it did it'd be way higher), so does it catch individual IPs?

In looking at the thumbs, I think Static Thunder has a more interesting angle that may lead people to want to see a larger version. Extraplanar, as a good a piece as it is, it may not not be as eye catching to people as Static Thunder. -

That just makes me smile. I think it's such a fun, original, and fresh type of art. Well done!

Hey, great job there Sartori! And now would be a great time to start honing those post production skills. you obviously have a good grasp of the whole poser thing... take it up a notch. And PSP woud work just fine for post editing. No point in spending several hundred bucks untill you definitly know you need to. For nw, crack open PSP and I'd say give what DJ sugested a shot. I'd love to see the piece after a bit of editing!
[/ QUOTE ]
Good points. Also Sartori, did you use PSP for your textures? If so, you may be selling yourself a bit short on your postwork talent/potential and you may be better than you think. -
The textures are awesome. Are you doing her costume as a second skin or did you actually make clothing? Boots are nice too.
Looking good.
