I would tend to agree. What I feel is appropriate or not may not rise to the level of the character being banned.

From what I could tell from the posts of the creator, his intentions were not in bad taste. He made the toon as an homage to an icon of determination and will.

I think it is great to honor heroes of the world. Great heroes don't come around very often and I think it is our responsibility to show the rest of the world how great the people are/ were.

Cool, so you are willing to discuss it. Me? I think wether it was done to honor or make light, it's in bad taste. I can be as tacky as the next guy but in the context of what that Monk did, for the reasons he did it, in the time that he did it, I just don't think there is a place for it in a game. I don't mean to be overly uptight but that guy set himself a blaze to make a protest. He did'nt step in front of a tank or throw rocks at armed police, he set himself a blaze. His sacrifice was meant to be unimaginable. To some how get across to people the imensity of the suffering and how important his religion was to him. It will forever be a symbol to me of man's inhumanity to man (the Diem regieme) and one person in a fleeting futile atempt at protest tried to get people to understand by making an unimaginable sacrifice. Preach mode off.
