I like it. To upgrade it to 'love' status, make changes to Electric Armor for Brutes. Please?

Sio, if it makes you feel better... I love your ideas. They are creative and interesting. Not sure how good they are in terms of balance when applied all at once... but I would love to see more than one of those changes take effect. Especially the charged armor and lightning reflexes changes. ^_^

That needs to be made into a shirt.

Completely agree. If there were more reward to fighting the Rikti in the zone raids, then I could get into it. But for right now, this gets a big.... fat.... 'meh'. It's just another distraction until double xp weekend gets here.

I've suggested this is another thread, but I think it would be great if Conserve Power was changed into a Brute version of Drain Psyche. Basically, it animates similarly to Power Sink. And instead of giving you endurance and draining endurance from enemies, it gives you a +regen +recov buff per target hit. Drain Psyche also gives the enemy debuffs for regen and recov, but we don't really need that for Brutes.

Oh, my apologies. I guess I was thinking of another power pool. For some reason I thought Conserve Power could be gained twice in the game... Looking at Paragon wiki know... seems I was mistaken.

Oh well. The second portion still holds true. Power Sink is more than enough endurance management for Brutes.

Absolutely. I'm tired of my poor Grounded Wire getting laughed at in PvP.

Well.... considering you can get a secondary conserve power in one of the patron pools.... it really does seem unnecessary to have the power at all in ElA. Not only that, but you can get all your endurance needs from Power Sink.

Personally, I would like to see something like Drain Psyche from the Dom /psi set. It works very much like Power Sink, only it debuffs any enemy in range with -recov -regen and gives you a +recov +regen for each one hit. Obviously it would have to be tweaked for Brute numbers in an attempt to keep you from being to powerful.... But i would love to see CP replaced with it.

It could also be a nice precursor for a Power Surge crash to help players recover from it faster.

Either that, or an escape clickie. Much like smoke bomb, it has a blinding effect, -tohit, etc.... but it's more like shining a bright light in their eyes. Perhaps with a chance to stun? Solar Flare, anyone?

Where is Hero Con? I've always wanted to attend a Con, but most of them are in the Cali area... and I live in Indiana.... and can't really afford to travel very far...

Wow, okay. Sorry I wasn't able to get back here yesterday. My internet was seriously messed up. Both that and trying to download the update during... probably... the busiest time didn't help much at all. After about 2 hours of trying, I was able to download the entire thing. After that, I tried to access the game multiple times... only to get connection failures. There was something definitely wrong on my side, as I also seemed to have trouble accessing websites as well. It looks like my ISP isn't feeding me the information at a very good rate.

Finally, at about 9PM, I was able to get on. But my net was still wonky as hell. I joined some friends for the new TF.... and I think I DC'd 4 times. I wasn't even able to get back on to finish it.

If it persists when I get home today, I'm calling up Insight cable and giving them a piece of my mind. I pay good money for this crap.

*edit* However, I feel obligated to mention that even though my internet was screwy today... when I started this thread my internet seemed to be working fine. It cruised websites at the same speed it always does. This time? It had trouble even loading google. Seriously. Fricken google.

On a semi-related note: Is anyone having trouble downloading the update? I'm running anywhere from 30 to 50k a second. That doesn't seem right.... considering I'm using Cable internet...

I think the pipes might be clogged somewhere..... Just gotta know where....

I might be able to put something together. I only did the two for Kheldians because someone suggested it, and there was already animation/VFX there for shape-changing. VEATs don't have any sort of shape-changing powers to pull directly from.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble. I'm worried about the crab soldier legs making it difficult to use a universal costume change emote, though.

2 different kinds of emotes are in my mind at the moment.

-One similar to the Vanguard casting animation where a circular symbol (The Arachnos symbol?) of some kind extends outward on the floor, and then perhaps some Mu lightning pulses upward on the body, revealing the new costume.

-The other one is more like the Omega Maneuver. A cylinder laser light surrounds the body, and arachnos symbol appears in the air and fades, and then the cylinder fades to reveal the new costume.

I have to admit... when I posted this I was rather angry. I could have jumped the gun. I shall perform the various tests to see if it was me. However, there is really no reason to assume it was... as I've talked with a lot of people with similar problems.

I'm not willing to rule out the ISP, however. It seems like a logical explanation. I use my Insight Cable connection... so it's possible it could have a fairly wide reaching range... but still only effect a certain amount of players.

I'd send a report if they didn't have such a poor track record of getting back to me. I think they are 1 and 5 so far.

PP: I have 2 sticks of RAM, each with 2 gigs. It's not me, It's the Infinity Server.

I'm normally not one to complain.... but this lag is ridiculous. I log on a little bit ago and 4 minutes later I get map severed off the game. I log back on. It happens again. It's not even that busy on the server! And It's not just me. Several people are experiencing noticeable problems.

Seriously. I know I15 is in the way... and if it's because of the preparations for launch, I'm cool with it. But if not, this is a serious problem that needs to be taken care of YESTERDAY.

MY GOD. THE LAG IS GETTING WORSE. DEVS NEED TO DO SOMETHING.

I have a pretty fast computer and connection. I always run on highest graphics settings and rarely have a problem. While doing ITFs, the only place I even see a little bit of lag is during the second to last mission in that valley right before Romy.

These last few days I've been experiencing rubberbanding. Basically, characters run.. and then suddenly jump to another location because of the lag. I didn't really think anything of it until I was soloing a rather regular mission on Villainous. The least stressful situation the game could be in... and a few of my enemies rubberbanded. Either they're getting prepared for I15 and putting a little extra stress load on the server... or something's failing/broken.

I've heard a lot about Aion. I may have to put it on the list of MMOs I check out. It was great getting to team with both you and Mr OSHA a few times. My only regret is that I didn't get to meet you guys sooner.
