my superteam decided we wanted to start Posi TF at level 10. we knew it would be tough at first but as we leveled up, it would get more managable. well, i submit this as a bug because I can't possibly imagine a scenario where this would make sense as a design decision but we were permantly locked in to level 10. we got to train up and all that (we made it to 12 before +6 COT became unmanagable) but remained exempted to level 10. How in the world does this make sense? maybe one of you can enlighten me to why this would be the case.
I can understand that with superteaming linking our level to the highest of the team and I can even understand having the baddies be 15s and 16s no matter what but when a team of lvl 10s starts it, if we level up, we should no longer be 10. all members are now 11. Let us play at level 11. who has time to do a posi TF at -5 and -6 to the baddies? -

cold/rad is better than cold/ice
storm/rad is better than storm/ice
kin/rad is the best as you mentioned
dark/rad is the best and will be my next defender
sonic/rad is better than any other choice
FF/rad is the best
traps/rad is the best
ta/rad is the best (irradiate on top of oil slick burning? yes please)
emp/rad if you are only going to very rarely attack, why not have one of them be irradiate and the other be comsic burst? exactly. -

why is everyone so obsessed with getting to the soft cap for their defense?

is that 7% defense really worth it when everything is going to be dead so fast anyway?

Granted, Elec/shield is a pretty terrible build, the defenses have to suck, but it'd be fun to mess around with. -
i've noticed some of the yellow salvage dropping in price but thats about it.

ummm, it was proactively but I knew i was preparing to do something stupid.

liberal use of jumping makes melee not so dangerous. when i play blaster i'm all over the place jumping in and out of melee. i just use charged armor and that clicky power whose name i can't remember from //elec

i wish there was an epic that fit the theme. a defender version of munitions would be nice
