  1. Thanks for all your help guys, I decided to get two vengeance and one Fallout, but I gotta say after using vengeance once.... well, I might respec and get it on all three, that +def bonus is nuts.
  2. Hey All,

My Rad/Archer is starting to get up there and I was wondering if some of you could provide the best ST and AoE attack chains for an Archer?

I haven't picked my Epic pool yet so you have the opportunity to mold the end of my character, he's strictly PvE. I have aim naturally and also have Assault running at all times, actually my blue bar is not an issue at all.

    Thanks folks.

    Rofl... Newb scrapper..

Also, blow stiff up as a man scares me
  4. My team is a trio of Rads, two being Plant Trollers and my "main" which is a Rad/Archer. Given that I have the leadership pool I have the option of taking either power, but I don't know which to take?

    Any suggestions? and why?

    Thanks!

However, if I remember correctly EF casts much faster than RI. I presume you're multi-boxing and casting all three debuffs simultaneously? In that case, depending on how quick the mobs are to react, I could see them getting hit by EF and beginning to attack before RI hits them. That would be bad, because while EF does have a damage debuff, it's not nearly as strong a mitigative effect as the -tohit from two RIs.

I guess the real question is: does it seem to be working for you so far? If so, there's probably no major need to fiddle with it. If you are curious, you can use the combat logs to see if the mobs' alpha is being affected by RI - just add 'tohit rolls' to the combat channel, open your usual strategy on a mob, then after the fight go back and find the tohit rolls for their alpha and see if their tohit chance was something like 70% or 7%. If it turns out that they're not being affected, I would try delaying your casting of EF so that the RIs can hit first.
I could just switch it to three RI's, I dont really need the damage boost from EF with Perma 3X AM and 2X assault going at all times.

Depends on the spread of the foes, the cone is only so big, and some times its better to get an anchor and get them to run around it, hit roots and back off and THEN seeds to get everyone.

Course... you have to survive that long
  7. Hey Folks,

So I run a three person super team of two plant/rads and a Rad/Archer.

Now currently I have about 15% Def in all with running 3x maneuvers and hover. I am wondering if I should bother taking the fighting poll and get both tough and weave, I know I can use RI to reduce the ToHit of the enemy but sometimes things run out of the area of effect, or the anchor dies too early or the root misses or whatever and they come over and beat on me. I have perma 3x AM going at all times so my blue bar can take all the toggles (which is Hover, Maneuvers, Assault (or tactics), Super speed (stealth), and then add on Tough/Weave and eventually whatever shield (prolly fire).

I just wonder if I should respec out of all the defense stuff and just RI everything and hope for the best? should I bother with all this at all? I could free up those three powers and get more of the rad poll or more attacks? I dunno.
  8. Hey All,

So, typical situation, doing a radio mish and I get to the "Boss" at the end, now I play (for now) at +2/6 with my Rad super team of one Rad/Archer and two Plant/Rads.

At this point I usually fire off three rad debufs at once, two RI's and one EF followed by two (remember I have two plants) Roots, which should in theory root the anchor and all his minions in place, but the question is, does RI and EF kick in fast enough to debuff the initial Alpha or is it going to be at full strength?

Should I consider changing tactics? perhaps opening with some creepers first and then hitting the debuffs/Roots?

    Thanks guys.
  9. Hey All,

Any blueside areas that have Family radio mishs? IP has tons of them all over the place but I like doing mish's and I never see them.

    Any help?
  10. Hey all,

So I'm playing a Fire/Kin as a part of a team (DB/WP Scrapper and a Kin/Dark Fender) so I am wondering as I level up, and since I will always have SB on me (from the Kin/Dark) will I want to bother with Siphon Speed or Power since I will have Transf and FS soon enough?

I know they are "debuffs" but once I have such constant to the buffs will I want to use them at all?

    Here's what I did.

No please feel free to move slots around, I just added them cause I had to to put the powers in, any advice is needed.

As for Swift/Health, I'm running with two, yes TWO Kin's so I just get heals not to mention stacked SB so...LOL
  12. Thanks for all your help folks, I'm working on this toon right now, I am going to use my freespec to get rid of Nimble Slash when I can.
  13. Hey Folks,

Ok I am looking for some help with my build, what I am looking for is the SO slotting, I am sure I'll pick up IO's later on, but till 35-40-45ish how should I slot my build.

Here is an example, I know I know I didn't take stamina, but I do have my own version (Quick Recovery) at 20 and I'm playing with a Fire/Kin so I'll always have SB on.

Again, if you could point out the SO slotting on this build I would appreciate it, I'm looking to Max defense/Resist with SO's till I can aford sets.

It's mostly this, most MMO's are setup that a group needs a tank (someone to take the damage and Aggro) and a Healer (someone to keep the tank alive) anything else is just gravy.

  16. Hey All,

So here is my sample build without any IO's, I am looking for proper slotting for my powers using just store bought SO's, I will drop some IO's in later but I'm looking for information now as to how I should slot stuff from 1-50.

Note. I'm not looking for power selection advice, just how many slots and what to put in it (ie. Acid arrow, 4 slots, 2 acc 2 rechg. or whatever).

My character is strictly PvE and I am teaming with a Kin/Sonic and a Fire/Kin.

  18. Hey All,

I'm trying to find DP's numbers (ie. how much slow or -Res or whatever) and I can't seem to find them in game. Yes I can look at Mids for that but I would rather see the numbers in game.

So when I use one of my "special ammos" where can I see it's effects? the description of the power doesn't give numbers, nor does looking at the different attacks (ie. Dual weild).

    Thanks!

And how did you go about doing that? (checking the numbers that is) I've checked all the descriptions and don't see a thing. Does it not show for fenders?

Also, do the debuffs/slow's stack from the same caster (ie. do I get more slow if I use Pistols then Dual Wield quickly enough) and do they stack with someone else's Pistols or Dual wield?

Anyhow, other then the font's being WAY TOO small on the enhancement screens and the market being down at the time of this post this roll out has been perfect for me, mind you, I don't use ultra mode at all cause I want the game to look the same across my three computers so....
  22. No I would say not.
