What we need is would be three more /petcom commands like:

    petcom_all rangeonly
    petcom_all meleeonly
    petcom_all allattacks

So you can have it whatever way you want.

Well... I'm traps anyways so I'm ok, but it's good that they get 2x, it will help.

    Thanks
  3. Hey All,

I'm not at that level yet, but I know around 24 or 26 you get a second Protector bot, does that mean that they stack their shields on the other bots and yourself? So Would I get 8% from one force shield from Prot. Bot one and another 8% from Prot. Bot two? and my other minons as well?

    Thanks!

I'm with New Dawn on this one, I think that Emp should have gotten a boost as well, and yes, I would take a reduction in Fort to make it a group buff, I still think it would be more useful to teams getting everyone at once even if it's a "lesser" buff. Yes, Emp could use a boost, while it's value to a small team is undeniable, on larger groups, it's value drops, and later on Debuffs > Buffs so...

But with all that said, i'd rather have the other sets buffed (as they are doing) then nothing at all, it's QoL after all.
  5. Hey All,

I heard there are binds that allow you to give reds or greens or purples to whatever pet (like my assault bot) with a easy click, how does one do that?

    Thanks!
  6. Hey Folks,

So I switched to Bots/Traps and now I am teaming with /Darks instead of Kins so as long as I keep us together they survive much better, I think the Kin heal was part of the problem as I want my pets to be at range not meele.

They still die but now it's not twice a mish it's once every other mish or so.

With the changes coming to FF I might switch again, as the /dark Corr's can handle the debuffing, but I am looking forward to detonator

So when is I20 going live? I picked traps rather then FF for my MM simply because FFG is fire and forget, now however, I have to rethink this completely.
  8. Hey Folks,

I have a Thugs/Traps MM now and I am finding that my minions are really squishy, now, I don't have the FFG yet so that might change but with that in mind...

Which Minions are the toughest? getting tired of healing and healing, if I wanted to do that I would have rolled a Emp.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks to everyone who replied.

I had a feeling that it was more situational then a "use on every spawn" power like the mortar is. But I am doing what most of you suggested which is dropping it in a middle of a spawn with FFG that is
  10. Hey Folks,

I have had PGT for a few levels now and don't really understand how to use it, is it's effect only against those who were there when it went off (therefore, putting one down and running folks into it seems useless) or does it pulse or something?

Acid Mortar is pretty straight forward as is seekers and Trip Mines, but PGT?

Anyone have any battle strategy advice?
  11. add this.

The email servers are not working, I Emailed my alts a TON of stuff and all I get is this when I try to access the items

Would having permahasten levels of recharge grease the wheels enough to make a serious impact in your group's oomph level?

You may hate superspeed, which is fine, but I've always found a stealth IO alone to be enough for my sneaking needs through almost any area. Would having full invisibility from the pool (and whatever extra LotG slotting boosts you can afford) be more useful? That's for you to decide.
cause as I mentioned before, it's Stealth vs. Tough/Weave. I think I am going to have to get an IO and hope it's enough cause I need tough/weave for those times that something notices me cause I don't have the HP to survive if the seeds misses....yikes!

Hasten will help your most important powers on long recharges come back faster -- especially Seeds and Creepers. Hasten will also let your characters spam Roots faster, which is key to your damage. Hasten+AM gives you 100% Recharge. 3xAM gives you 3X30% = 90% Recharge. Hasten+3xAM will be 160%. Hasten adds a significan boost even with 3 AMs. Now if you were on a full team of */Rads, then 8x30% from 8 AMs would mean that Hasten would have a minimal benefit, but only as long as you were all together.

Your right Local, and I have done 3x AM with Hasten before, I might have to bite the bullet and use a stealth IO, cause i don't wanna get rid of Tough/Weave, while you can argue that with 3x RI and such the ToHit is floored, without some def/res if they do hit me at higher levels I'm toast.
  14. Hey all,

To explain my situation... I'm running a trio (triple-boxing) of three Plant/Rads. Now, with just level 12 DO's I can have a cycle of 2x AM going and then the other AM while the two are recharging.

I'm Going with Leadership (2x Assault, 3x maneuvers and 1 Tactics), Flight (Hover/Fly) and Tough/Weave, but I don't know if I wanna taken Speed or perhaps something else (like Stealth, I know you can IO SS, but I hate SS). When I get SO's I'll be able to have 3x AM going for part of the cycle at least, so I guess the question is..... DO I need Hasten?

I'm not farming or looking to do Av's (but I could really) just regular content/tips.

Just regular Chit-chat really, I can always goto Atlas for RP'ing...

VU is full, I cant get it but I did join Radio Virute.
  17. Hey all,

I just resubbed and decided to give Virtue a try, everything is going ok except that I can't find a global channel where people chat, rather all the channels I am on are all about finding TF's and such (which is fine, but).

Anyone reccomend a channel thats not full that people actually yack on? I figured I would be RP'ed to death and I haven't seen much or any really.

    Thanks all!
  18. I'm trying Crash's fix right now but what worries me is that my updater says V1800.xxxxx should it not be 1900?
  19. Hey All,

So I'm building a team with three Trollers, all /Rad with Plant and Grav (fun fun fun) but I'm worried about Alpha's.

Yes, there is Plants Creepers and Pets and Grav has some tricks too but set-wise, what can I add (mostly positional +Def I would assume) to help out that are not too expensive. I plan to run 3x maneuvers with Weave but I would not mind getting some sets in there as playing at range means I can worry about building that type of def first, but again not too expensive (think, Thunderstikes for defenders). I'm also going with 3x Cloud so that anything that does get near will be held (at least some of the time).

Any suggestions for sets I can use?

Plant is good for mowing down larger low level groups, but isn't very good at handling Bosses and single tough targets.
Mruahahahahahaah look what I started...... got a group of foes at each other, I guess I tossed my seeds at the right time

Local your always OK by my book.
  21. They changed the size of the IO levels so you can actually read them tooo!!!!

    sqqqeeeeeeelllll
  22. Cool, my toons have Fitness on them now without me having to respec, yes I have to level to get slots but still.
  23. weeeeeee I19!

Also you can now quit to Char screen instead of log-in screen!

    weeeee

Now I know your not suggesting that we avoid a AT cause of the chance of a Lag Spike or an ambush!

Everything you said is correct of course, however as you said Vines are there and Roots and Creepers so you do have some recourse (or heck, just RUN!).

I'm a Plant guy, so take my defensiveness for what it is, it's my favorite troller by far.

The AoE Immob, Roots, does twice the damage of the AoE Immob from other control sets. Plus you get AoE Damage from Carrion Creepers and the pet, Venus Flytrap (a/k/a Twoey, nicknamed after the plant in "Little Shop of Horrors"). Plant is a bit of a "one-trick pony." It relies heavily upon the combination of Seeds of Confusion+Roots -- it is weak against foes who resist confusion and Immobilize, and not real strong with single target damage. I
As Local is apt to point out Plant is a bit of a "One trick pony", however, when it's the best trick in the game you really only need one! Plant blooms (oh god the pun, the pun) early with Seeds and gets better with Creepers, sure, there are a few foes that you would want to avoid (confuse resistant and immob resist as well) but for the vast majority of the content out there (outside of GM's, AV's if you have Rad) your gold Jerry...Gold!

As for ST damage, you have your 2 standard attacks (the Hold and Immob) that with containment and slotting for Damage are good to go, combine that with say your Fire APP for both Fireball and the ST attack and you can hold your own, is it as damaging as Fire...no.. but much safer.
