I dont know, the Huntsman just "Feels" right to me more than a Crab does.

[ QUOTE ]
Well guys, Thanks for all the useful and (Some I might add) not so useful information. I did end up going with the Huntsman, mainly for the TF's I normaly go on. Personaly, after playing both the Crab AND the Huntsman on MANY TF's on my trip to 45th lvl, I can honestly say this; The Crab can not stealth past the mish to the end and help the team as much as a Huntsman can. My VG only does FAST Sf's and TF's. If you cant stealth, your dead weight. I still havent seen Aisynia's guide yet, still trying to find it as its not posted in her sig. I havent done my last respec as of yet, but I am planning on it today/tonight.
Personaly, the viability of a Huntsman on TF's that require speed far out weighs the Crab taking double leadership; Mainly because if you not only take double leadership but also take the invis pool, you loose what a Crab is all about. But on a Huntsman, Invis comes built in and you sacrifice what...SS? Sj? I dont use those anyway, I buy the jet packs from GV for movement.

[/ QUOTE ] a huge load of [censored], especially because it's not true.

Money where your mouth is.

As for the Aim issue, I don't take it anyway, so it's hardly a "sacrifice." I do miss the patron aoe blast (my live crab has one) but aim? lol. The point I was making is that the so-called "benefit" the bane brings (double leaderships) can be dome by a crab, who thanks to all the other good powers in the crab pools, will be better even after the "sacrifices" to fit double leaderships. Where's the Bane with double leadership that doesn't suck?

Show me a huntsman build that brings more to a team without sacrificing personal effectiveness than this example crab. Please.

By and large the Crab build brings better survivability than the Bane/Huntsman (def, significant resists, a self heal, and mez protection that rivals a Tank's) and much better AoE damage. Staying purely in-set for a crab you've only got two ranged ST attacks (channelgun, longfang) but three ranged AoE attacks (frag grenade, venom nade, suppression) and a pseudo nuke (omega manuever). Crabs also have the advantage of a second pet summon, and the spiderlings are pretty straightforward to perma, even if they're nowhere near as nasty and dangerous as the Disruptors.

Funny, I have a toon named Cpt. Liberty. Not quite the same though, and variations on the name are pretty common.

[/ QUOTE ]

Personally, I'm wondering why they chose Horatio for the main characters name.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wasn't that Horus from the original comic runs' real first name? And I recall his schtick pre-kheld merger as being a dude with power armor and energy blasts.
6. Those sorts of powers are the best place to slot them. the bonuses are added to total recovery, so it's like having unslotted Stamina if you've got both. Add Stamina itself and/or Quick Recovery, and you're looking at a lot of +recovery.

So will alias, Smith get a partner named alias, Jones?
8. Log off in the D for "stripper" or "boozehound" [female> male/huge]

I am under the impression that the ammount of people who will or would return after 18 months of having their account inactive is very slim to none. I don't think that keeping a name indefinately is a good idea, for non-paying, former customers to be able to do.
They could even send out an e-mail 1-2 months in advance so that the people would have a chance to renew, to avoid their names from being purged.

[/ QUOTE ]

No. Speaking as somebody who DID in fact unsub and walk away for 18 months (and then came back, obviously) I can guarantee that had I come back to find out some prepubescent little ADD twit too lazy to pick up a [censored] thesaurus ended up swiping any or all of my character names I would not have resubbed for the 18 new months I've been back (most of it in the larger time blocks) and NCsoft would have been out my sub fees (and the extras packs I bought) for that time. I said this last time name purges were suggested, and I think I'll say it every time they come up: LEARN TO BE CREATIVE. Alternative names FOR THE WIN.
