Red Tomax page. There is a link to that page on paragon wiki in the left column.

    The BEST Brute

I'm torn between SS/WP and claw/SR. Both of mine are total monsters.
On the SS/WP, I added soul mastery for some serious dmg AoE wise with dark obliteration and ST wise with gloom doing the DPS chain from the "results are in take 1" thread on the scrapper board. Pretty much cut down anything except when I run into a lucky group of cims and I see "deflected" floating followed by defense failure and out damaging rttc. That doesn't happen often

Claw/sr mows thru everything as well just not as fast due to the smaller radius of spin and no dark O. The problem I run into on that one are the nems in the TV farm. I don't like having to pick out targets not to take out first or suffer sudden death due to a massive to hit/def buff that gets 3 stacked. Cims get put in there place, though. Always.

I think SS/SR/Soul would be a total monster. The issue with SS/SR would be be the rage crash. Not because of the -def because you can get rage to stack thus no -def. It would be the end crash on an end heavy set without any recovery tools. It would be even worst if you had hasten and that crash too. Although, there is a solution to that.

I did want a ranged attack, and with room for just the one, I chose LBE for the Full 80' range (pulling, runners) and the debuff -def effect on hard targets like EB and AV. Also I did not want the KB effect on my only ranged attack. I just got my 6 month badge and almost all my experience so far is with Blasters. I have 2 lvl 50 blasters and several others at lower lvls, so this thinking will be subject to change as I level Lizzz up. I will probably take the Focus power just to have some ranged attack before Epic time.
I already have to plan to respec out of Swipe so experimentation while I lvl is going to be the rule.
    Thanks,
    Jak
I can't make an argument about the range because it is indeed shorter then LBE but...
    1. You already have an attack that causes -def and the recharge is fast enough to stack well.
    2. Focus knocks down. It won't knock back unless the mob is a lower level then you or you slot it for knockback.
    3. The knockdown effect is better to deal with runners because it gives you time to catch up with them. You just have to hit them before they are out range. If range is an issue, slot for it.
4-6. Focus comes a lot earlier, no redraw, and deals more dmg.

Drop LBE. Get Focus. Be merry!
  4. I've always liked the flashy sets. I just picked up DB/invul that's has been on the shelf for a while (I got the vanguard katannas and tinted them white/black. Seeing those doing 1kc is total sweetness!). I've also tried out odd combos like elm/regen and DB/ela. My elm/regen rules. My DB/ela needs some improvement. In any case, That had me thinking something like elm/sr would be real easy and db/sr would get easy later on... yet, both would still be real flashy.

Honestly, I would not have had a problem with the old MOG if it didn't stop you from healing after it wore off. The HP crash and not being able to heal or regen douring the term would have been fine. Even unstoppable is manageable if you are ready for the crash.

How do you get 45HP/sec as a Regen Scrapper? Does that rely on IO bonuses? Because even if I frankenslot Health, Fast Healing, and Integration, I'm only getting 32HP/sec... doesn't seem like average, for me anyway...
You get it from regen bonuses and HP. With dull pain on, look at your HP/sec rate. Your regen % won't go up by clicking DP but your HP/sec will. So, about 600% regen and the HP cap, you are good to go.

Edit: heh. Someone beat me to it. Thats what I get for stopping to do actual work... At work.

  8. You think /regen gets the shaft in MoSTF? Try /DA. A friend of mine on virtue was waiting near States on a saturday after the hami raid to get on a team. Two people were picking players to be on their team based on their AT and powers. People were standing with others with the same AT and when they got picked, they moved near the leader. It was like school yard kickball. My friend didn't get picked because of his power set DM/DA. It was like he was the fat and slow kid on the playground with out a teacher forcing them pick him for a team. I had thought I seen it all in this game.

  10. FA also has res to to hit debuff. Kismet nor tactics or kismet + tactics will help you deal with the horrid amounts of to hit debuffs you run into in cov. As far as the math of your question, I'm not sure on but I don't think it would matter. Every alt I have that has foc acc laughs at all to hit de buffs and can hit everything with ease except triple stacked veng buffed nems, and a Lt+ cim in huge mob. So what if it cost a little more end. You are a /kin.
  11. I sold a respec recipe to an auto doc. I hit that sell button one too many times.
  12. For my claw/sr brute, it was trick arrow/ela... Something. It only used the electric aura from that set but it used those trick arrow powers better then some players I've seen. Not only did it survive ajax, it had full health the whole time. (I think my hitting him with focus and shockwave may have had something to do with that.) I even stayed for the ambushes because everytime one spawned, they got stunned and all I had to do was pick them off. Its good to know that its random. I wonder what it will be next time.
  13. I've gotten my name on there a few times after street hunts. I still forget about them most of the time.

This. Although, I was thinking more about the Advengers games.

D-Mac is funny. Even though I'm never gonna give him a high five. They need to allow you to make fun of his taste in ringtones.
  15. This arc is epic. Unlike the OP, I saved my clone. I know I know. Not very evil of me but I figured I had beat up a lot of 5th and other mobs to get that lab then even more 5th to try to get it back. All to have it blown up. I couldn't let it all be a total waste. I won't spoil what happens next when you make that choice, though. I have plenty of vills to run this with so ill get see how it turns out from every choice option. But, taking all of Protean's money via a transfer was priceless. Actually, that mission was the 2nd best in that arc. Fighting 8 of me is still the best ever. Too bad the arc is lvl 29. I would like to have run this at full power.

I just delete the junk but craft the good ones and usually end up with a Steadfast Unique, a couple KB protction recipes, the odd kismet 6%er, maybe an Erad 4 banger or a Regen unique. I'll generally make 20-50 million a run, easy peasy.
My my. Never delete stuff unless you are in the middle of a mission and run out of space and cant leave. Sell that junk at the store if you can't profit from it.
  17. My DM/SR farms the "normal" farm maps just fine. Granted, it takes a little longer. But if you don't have any bosses, it moves faster. Too bad they nerfed the henchmen in AE. That was DM gold! Speaking of AE, some people have been oh so kind enough to put Battle Maiden mobs on popular maps. Might want to check them out.
  18. Why not use the two slots on weave and put two more lotgs there to get more regen and hit points as well as the extra recharge? Just a thought.

    build planners

I'm running windows 7. I had to save the downloaded file, first. Then open it and run it as an administrator for it to install. When I first tried it, I picked "download and install" it wouldn't work.

    It is explained here. http://www.cohtitan.com/news?id=1292

Considering when the attack was obtained and how multi-functional it is, is why I'd say the ki blasts along with the kamehameha are low tier special (primary/secondary) attacks.
I would have to agree with this. The thing about DBZ is the power-ups. A kamehameha wave from Chibi Goku is nothing compared to one from SSJ3 Goku.

Also, the Spirit Bomb killed Buu and Turless from the "tree of might" movie. The only one that was killed by kamehameha was Cell and Bojak. Everyone else was killed by a counter blast or a super punch to the gut. Not including those that were killed by non students of turtle style. ie: trunks and vegeta

If I would consider anything Goku's tier 9, it would be the Dragon Fist Assault since its the last attack he learned.

As far as kin melee, I keep thinking about Sebastian Shaw for some reason. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian_Shaw_(comics).
  21. I could see them making new versions of each epic pool for all ATs. I don't see them changing up the power format. ie: no range attack at 41 for scrappers or tanks and dark blast not gloom. I would love to be wrong, though.

Quality. Nrg blasters tick me off when they pull stuff like that. Nothing like a waisted nova to put them in their place.

    ElM/Regen??

My elm/regen was a fast ride to 50. If you know how to use /regen, this will be a fun combo. If you don't know how to use /regen, you will have a hard time dealing with certain situations and want to reroll to something that won't get hit as often. I will say that its a totaly different feel from any of my other scrappers. Including my other /regens. That's actually what I was hoping for.

My only beef is that, sometimes, I want a dmg/taunt aura to help bring the mob in close to get the most out my aoes and constant target switching.
