Half of those you listed were in the game before i13.

Angry Pinkie Pie scares the hell out of me.

We need more TF channels. Like, at least 5 more.

WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT MOD ACTIVITY! LOCK THE THREAD! NAOOOOOO!
Seriously though, welcome. -
The funny thing is that aside from a few procs and uniques, the PvP IO sets are inferior compared to the other sets that already existed in the game.

Lauren Faust has already said that Luna will return in a later episode. I believe the studio has signed for a second season as well.

Unfortunately not. The formula to figure out how DR affects your totals is pretty complex. The best way to get a good idea on where you'll be is to go into the zone, monitor your combat attributes, and see the difference when you pop your powers.
-
Diminished Returns. It applies a curve to your enhanced totals that reduces their effectiveness.
-
Unfortunately, DR is going to brutalize a lot of those totals. Have fun with that.

1) Revert the i13 PvP changes.
2) Add a female MM set. (Maybe something Psionic, like the Carnies)
3) Revert the i13 PvP changes. -
My SO'd stalker regularly killed IO'd characters both before and after i13. Skill is the great divide between winning and losing.
Good luck with this effort. I hope it helps grow PvP in this game. -
I liked that players' powers functioned as they were designed to. Your buffs actually buffed because DR didn't hamstring your sonic/emp/ff. Your Emp could heal because heal decay didn't exist. You had a reason to bring your Kin in a zone because SB and IR did something. More so, it allowed for more diversity in line-ups and more surprises in what you could see in a zone.

Quote:That's right. I can't recall which series it was (I know it wasn't JAKQ or Battle Fever J) that had an entirely red team. It's been forever since I've seen anything on it.The first sentai series was Himitsu Sentai Goranger, and they had multicolored costumes.
Edit: It might have just been in the 25th anniversary special. -
If my understanding is correct, the first sentai series was all red rangers with just variations in costume design. The multi-color aspect didn't come in until later.

You: "If it is just a question, I will grant you your last request."
Ascendant "Thanks. So, what's the proper command to format all of the drives on a Linux-based System?"
You: "Simple. It's..." Wirrrrrrrhhhh.... ((Total system shutdown))
Ascendant: "Well, that was surprisingly easy. Figures, though-- nobody can afford Apple, and everybody hates Microsoft." -

My favorite time in PvP was around i10 to i11. It was great getting in on Kickball events held regularly in the D and seeing a lot of the matches that came up on test. Powers acted the same and the game had the same general "flow" as an active session in PvE. The speed and tactics involved was a lot more fun than before i13. It was that very speed that kept the blood flowing and kept the senses sharp. It was a feeling that you couldn't get in PvE, and can not get now in PvP as it exists.
The only other PvP systems that were remotely as enjoyable was with Warhammer: Age of Reckoning. Being able to queue up for a randomly picked team PvP scenario with a goal and actual rewards was fun and easy. I'd like to see something like that be introduced to the game instead of the overly inflated arena system we have now. -

In the end, however, in spite of its technological age, City of Heroes still possesses an extremely strong core foundation that Champions Online and DC Universe Online have not even come close to challenging. If they want to stay on that throne, I do feel that City of Heroes needs to tighten up their core focus. Right now, there are a lot of side projects that haven't received much love, like City of Heroes' separated PvP community, or their super group base building community, both of which haven't felt much in the way of developer communication. But really, as long as Paragon continues to intelligently add more depth to their game, I have a good feeling that they'll remain the top dogs to beat for a good while to come.
