Wait, so that whole post basically boils down to "your numbers don't mean a thing" and "lrn2play"? Wow, last time I saw that one come out, the people on the blaster boards got PISSED!
-
I'm curious. How many people collaborated with you in your datamining, Deus?

I have indeed read Arcana's report on scrapper secondaries and their survivability. However, her reports tend to use optimum (even in best/worst case scenarios) usage of a set. In practical application, this is rarely the case. Not to mention there is a good bit of difference between Brutes and Scrappers as far as optimum mitigation through the use of Fury and an active offense vs. controls built into the set. This is also not including endurance usage with attack chains, which is DA's biggest problem area.

I would say the given numbers and experience of one opinion would be greater than just the experiences of another. So far, I'm seeing quite a few numbers and experiences from one side, but not from another.

*sigh* I am sorry, I do not seem to be able to fix the columns that I lined up on the Electric and Fire Armor comparison sections. If anyone has feedback that would help with that, please let me know.

use the "code" and "/code" (with brackets instead of quotations) and it should line up just fine. -

Nice article on the pvp scene. If you continue top keep an arena section I will continue to read. Gread job all.

Same. Very nice write up on the match. Someone give Neuronia a pizza. -
I figure one way to make things harder for the PVE mode characters would be to drop their level down X amount of levels when flagged as such. Auto-exempting so far could cause a rather nasty debuff against the NPC mobs.

I agree. While I might disagree with a few minor points (very minor at that), the over-all theme and ideas presented are definitely worth looking into.

He's still sitting there in Grandville sticking out like a sore thumb and passing out missions to villains who come asking while his kind and bombing the city.

and a villain should care about that why exactly?

That's actually a good point.
"Ok, I need you to *BOOM!* go and steal these weapons *BOOM!* and plant them."
"Hey, think you can *BOOM!* call them off?"
"Ohhhhh.... yeaaaaaaaaah, I'm gonna have to veto that, mmmkay?" *BOOM BOOM BOOM!* "I'll let them know you're ok, though." -
Ah, in that case, no I am not. It's just been my general experience (and others as far as I've read) that driver systems from Omega seem to work MUCH better than the CCC system. It was actually my frustration with a rather persistent CCC error that caused me to seek out Omega drivers to begin with.

this is some of the best forum PvP I've seen since YocIant. Next thing you know, Psion is gonna start calling himself "Justice's Bane"

Given all the arena bugs, it wouldn't be the first time...

I was having the same problem with my Xpress 1200. First thing I did was completely uninstall the CCC and ATI programs in my Add/Remove programs menu, then went to OmegaDrivers and picked up their latest ATI radeon set-up. It isn't perfect, but it's definitely a huge improvement over the CCC.

Wow Tony, instead of settling all that via PM's with the Scoop staff, you decide to blast them on the forums? And I thought I was petty...
