  1. Yeah, it's a real downer too, since Chilling Embrace also offers a -damage effect to anyone around you
  2. Badge Decay

Once you've earned a badge, it stays with you for 30 days before you have to earn it again.
  3. That list is somewhat outdated, since Elusivity got toned down shortly after to 10% I think.
  4. I got married
    Had a son
Donated 12 inches of hair to locks for love, twice!
    Moved across country, twice
    Bought a car

This adds up a lot better when you think about how much the devs consider PvP when they do anything.

this puts it at least two weeks out, but i'd bet on 3. Look at how long they delayed releasing street justice after i21 released. They're stretching it out to maintain subscriptions, they dont launch the new sets with 22 so that people coming back to the game for I22 dont get burned out as quickly as they would if everything dropped at once, they hold out key features or sets that people want (that involve money) a month or so that way they can draw them back in and hang onto existing subscribers or gain new ones when they release what they've held back.... sigh guess i'll have to sit on to these 800pp longer then i thought.

    Trying stalkers

If you're looking towards your stalker primarily for solo PvP use, you may want to re-consider. Stalkers can be great at burst damage, but anyone with a half decent build should not die to a stalker by itself. You will make it rather easy to force a tie though.
  10. Separately, yes. Together, it's demonic on both sides with a blade in the middle (if that makes any sense). Literal parallels are kind of hard, given the different structures of the language.
  11. I love Gen13 (or did anyways) as much as the next guy, but they kinda did it too at first.

  12. It was called "The 90's". Pretty much every company in town ran that style in some form or another.
  13. kouma, in this sense, would be akin to "demonic lord" or "demon king" in a sense.
  14. Oni Kouma would probably be the closest to what you're looking for that can fit in the name field. 悪魔の刃 would be great if the system could use Kanji for names.
  15. Keep this up and I'm going to tell Melle.

    C'mon Newb!

Back when the game first launched and you could slot ANY type of enhancement in a power, regardless of what kind it was. I kept putting range enhancements in Blazing Aura, hoping that by level 50 I'd be able to clear the whole map of Atlas Park just by standing still under the statue.

Unless they intended these changes to be focused in PvE, which was my point. Just like other sets (Psi Assault being the closest analog), having one overly good power and a bunch of less than good powers doesn't make for a good set. Unlike Psi Assault, however, EM didn't get the necessary buffs to make it a competitive set.

At the time, if you were a stalker anyways, you had a bunch of underperforming sets and EM. DM was decent, but still not as good and Elec didn't come around until JUST before the change. Your only real AoE options were Spines, which had lackluster damage, or DB, which had a broken combo system for stalkers.

People weren't laughed at if you were a tanker or brute for not choosing EM, because they simply had a better selection of options. But for stalkers, it was roll EM for performance or roll another set for concept.
