*Snaps fingers* That's the one Kendrick gives, yeah! Good times for good merits.
  2. It was removed from doing so in an older patch. Red Tomax may not reflect that change.

Color radiation Dark style, then dark Red - like my friend's Rad/Pain corr "Diabeetus" and you basically just shoot diabetic blood at people
  4. Solo? Do Neal Kendrick's Freakshow arcs. There's some travel involved, but you can do it at your own pace through Ouro. Also through Ouro is Old Posi, worth 40 merits. And there's plenty of arcs mentioned via that link posted above that are easy to solo for merits. My level 33 blaster has 800+ merits at the moment, by doing arcs and occasional TFs.
  5. Respeccing first lets you repick all your powers in levelling order, then reassign all slots after that in levelling order. Then place your enhancements that were previously in those slots, and sell the misfits.

There is no cost to respeccing unless you buy a recipe. You need to either complete a respec trial or get a freebie from some Issue updates.
  6. I'm not trying to knock the build, or the idea.

I just thought that it wasn't possible to perma-hold, which is different than soloing an AV. The "PTOD" grants AVs periodic immunity to holds, doesn't it? *runs off to ParagonWiki*

As reported by Castle, the mez protection during the "triangles up" period adds 50 magnitude (stacking with inherent protection and any possible toggles or buffs), and covers Hold, Knockback, Confuse, Repel, Disorient, and Fear effects, but does not cover Sleep nor Immobilize effects. During the "triangles down" period it is 3 for Archvillains and Heroes, the same as a typical boss, and 6 for Elite Bosses, the same as a regular Elite Boss. Player experiments have measured the "triangles up" period to be 50 seconds, and the "triangles down" period to be 25 seconds. For a short time during Issue 9 testing immobilize protection was added in, since its omission was considered a bug, but the change was removed due to player protest.

So, in theory yes you can perma-hold an AV when the PTOD isn't cycling. But as a point of clarification, the PTOD does not defend against sleep. When I hear "perma-hold" I expect to bypass the PTOD and permanently lock down an AV as a result...

Is that actually possible? I'll be rethinking my gameplan vs AVs if you're implying that overcoming the PTOD is a reality. And I'll stand corrected too, because that is awesome.

Why do u recommend sooooo much DMG slotting? after 3 DMG enhancements the percents of improvement get so tiny.
This guide was written before Diminishing Returns/Enhancement Diversification.

Man, what a nostalgic laugh this guide gives now. In before the lock for necro!

182.5% I think is safe. (That's with hasten)
  10. Up the speed significantly, drop the tohit debuff, and make it 1.7eps.

It is now doing exactly what it is intended to do, with a high eps to offset using it all the time for metagaming.

Sucks to be those Bots MMs with it though. That does look cool.
  11. You can't (insofar as I know) perma-hold an AV due to the Purple of Triangle of Doom. However, you can perma-sleep one or multiple with a Mind dom.

I'd focus on as much as recharge as you can get, to spam holds, but focus on slows for survivability.

  12. Hey how long has this been a sticky? I jut noticed. That looks like progress if it's new.

  15. I'm barely shuffling anyone around. I got a brute who has to go Rogue -> Hero -> Vigilante, and a villain that has to go Rogue. Thats about it. Everyone else is drawn for their alignments.
  16. *bump*

I wanted to get the OP's feedback on this, thought he'd be interested ;D
  17. This was an idea so fun I had to go and look at it for myself.

    BEHOLD, PROCZILLA.

Very off the cuff, plenty of room for refinement.

  21. I just wanted to chime in and say "I'm that guy" occasionally when I see copyright violators.

I saw <Name removed to avoid humiliation> who was a BLATANT joker clone. What I didn't know was that I, and three other people from VirtueUnited, happened to ALL be on that team and petition him. He got genericed mid mission, MID ANIMATION. Damned funniest thing I've ever seen.

He shouted in broadcast inside the mission "ADMIN????" and that was the last I heard of him for a long time. Then he showed up again thanks to player notes. It was surreal seeing 4 people comment on the SAME event nigh simultaneously in VU.

Moral of the story: Sometimes when you snitch on a stranger, you make great new friends.
