  1. It's a bogus thing to happen at the moment, but don't reroll!

I personally believe it to be easy enough to get to 20 again as another character. That's what this game is designed for after all, alting.

Explore your options, roll a pure villain, you'll get 20 again soon enough!
  2. Just spent a full day/night cycle circling Nova looking at the trees, nothing.

I won't say it's NOT true, but the LIKELIHOOD of the picture's truth is masked in doubt and perhaps a RNG roll on the encounter.

Hey Dechs, what about my build for my Elec/Kin? *eyebrow waggle*

    That guy's gonna be EPIC.
  4. Castle,

I just saw your LinkedIn profile, looking at past projects you've worked on.

I'm going to be watching intently, because you did a great job here. Future projects will likely follow this trend.

    Well, great job, PVP aside.

    There, I said it

  5. I made this build as a theoretical slot-out before Kinetic Melee was released. 43.1% defense to S/L with something like 2600 HP and good resists layered under that.

Let me know what you guys think of it.
  6. A few of us at the Defenders of Paragon are reporting patching on every boot and "No server available" on trying to connect to servers.

Delete your checksum file in the COH directory and see if the reverification of your files helps!

Edit: Also delete a *.prv file when you delete the checksum for a full reverification.

  8. This thread delivers. I love the math talk around here.

It's actually driving me to go back to school so I can meaningfully contribute, and I wish I wasn't kidding.
  9. I remember when a certain friend of mine, who is a hardcore min/maxer, can casually 50 and purple IO a character in less than a week kind of guy, never knew that there was a trash bin in the enhancement screen for tossing old Ehnnies.

I was outraged and jokebanned him from Vent.

He and I aren't friends anymore because of things like that.
  10. Here's what I know since I know nothing about PvP

Grav/Earth has some of the longest animations out there between Wormhole, Propel, and Hurl Boulder.

If Animation time = Damage, you'll be a god.

    Go for it.
  11. I have encountered this problem.

DO NOT slot any of your old enhancements, and it should go through.

Otherwise, switch to an alternate build.

I ended up respeccing once I left Praetoria, so I can't be sure I can narrow down what's at fault.

    CoP Schedule

Happy to help and supply base access!

I'd recommend adding an addendum before the teams are finalized about Vigs/Rogues not being able to get in, like tonight when I lost 25% of my team, haha.

Also, good tanking is essential. I was pleased to see all of our tanks were up to the task, but I worry about PUG Fire Armors, for instance. Make sure support rounds out the holes on the team. If there's a Fire Armor on point, give em bubbles and increased density! (For example)

Not that a good team makeup can't overcome any obstacle, but as we learned tonight with The Obelisk of Despair, sometimes even the best on paper falls short due to missing AoE. We should be a tad more diligent in making sure that we're up on the AoE damage.

Lastly, this trial has an absence of Rularuu Brutes, making the entirety of all the spawns completely weak to Lethal Damage. Archers, Assault Rifles, Broadswords, Katanas and Claws are looking favorable for quick results, methinks.

  13. Brute. More HP is the deciding factor since Fury got changed, the damage output isn't hard to maintain.

Also, teams = Brutegasm. Higher damage cap means more potential.
  14. They're on your map as small yellow explosion-looking dots. You can click on them and you'll get the waypoint on your HUD.

  15. Love the outfit.

Time to kick *** and chew bubblegum. And hit the strip club. And shoot some pig-alien-cops. GOD DAMN I WANT THAT GAME ALREADY!

  17. I'd like option 1, nuke the old, as I don't understand why anyone would opt-in for, as an example, old "Rings" shoulder pieces (or the entirety of mask ornaments for that matter, from Serrated, Narwhal, Lightning and all that adornment) which look like glued on construction paper crap when we could have something that looks like... an actual aesthetic alteration to spandex.

Also, I am 100% for a complete geometric overhaul of Armored Tops, which look flat-out BAD.
  18. The impending chaos of 8 grav/stone doms was too much. They spawned, all hit Power Boost, and it was game over for everyone.
  19. Syndicate Sword Masters. Sub 20, their ranged attack is ruthless.

  21. I thought the point of the place was WAI in that Mother Mayhem was pressing her will on the place, keeping the inmates subdued... hence why it's such a PITA to get in/out. You're being messed with like a rat in a maze.
  22. Wow, nicely done, and has given me a new way to look at builds.
