The only way game cards work differently is that you can also use them to start an account, and they come with a 30 day (real time) flight jet pack.

Time cards cannot be used to start an account. You need a retail code for that.
So what you're saying is that game cards are not the same as time cards...

  5. Just so you're aware:

    From the NCSoft Support Page

Although they are labeled for specific games, PlayNC/NCsoft game time cards are usable on any of our games. However, you must use a game time card specific to the territory of your game account. You can use a City of Heroes, City of Villains, Lineage, Lineage II, or generic PlayNC/NCsoft Game Time Card for any of those games. For example, you can use:
    • A City of Heroes Game Time Card on a Lineage II game account
    • A Lineage II Game Time Card for a City of Villains game account
    • A City of Villains Game Time Card for a Lineage game account
    • Any combination therein
Please keep in mind that once a game time card has been used, the game time applied cannot be transferred to another account. The game time provided by a single game time card cannot be split between multiple game accounts. Additionally, once registered, the game time cannot be paused or stopped. It will expire after the included prepaid game time has been used, whether the account has been used or not.

NOTE: Game cards are not the same as game time cards. Game cards can only be used as indicated on the packaging.

Less than 5% of the time. Last night, I joined the first PuG I'd been on in probably 3-4 weeks.

    2) How often do you group with friends and fill the rest of the group with PuGs?
Depends on the group I'm with. If it's the RP group then 1% or less. When I'm hanging with my non-RP buds then maybe 10% of the time.

    3) How often do your PuG members do what you feel needs to be done without being told to do so?
Well, the last two PuG's that I recall went fairly well, people seemed to know their character's and what to do.

    Quote:
    4) How often do you find yourself telling PuG members what you feel they should be doing (for the good of the current team/session)?
Maybe 10-15% of the time I'll mention a tactic, if what someone is doing is always putting them or the team a bad situation.

    Quote:
    5) How often do you find yourself adding PuG members to your friends/global friends, and if those lists are full, using other methods of remembering them?
Well, If I remember to do so, perhaps 1 in 6.

    6) How often do you group with complete jerks in a PuG?
I haven't seen any in a while. But then I don't PuG all that often.

    Bad Team Bingo

    This is a riot.

The people I normally team with are off playing DnD and probably still will be when I get home from work. I might be able to get it a PuG or two when I get home.

I think /petionable would be another likely square.

Edit: Well, got on a PuG first thing last night, 6 players. Other than they controller dying a few time, I'm afraid I couldn't check a single square...

No, Sam, you are not the only one.

Beyond that: David, if you're reading this, can you PLEEEASE see about giving us the ability to use basic patterns that glow like this? Please? I would KILL to have the ability to use, say, Isles or Tribal and make it glow. Please?
    ^^ This

And, finally, the glowing eyes head (Organic Armour head) - can we have either a more human, cleaner version of that face, and/or a version of the Glowing Eyes head with eyes that actually glow?
I'd rather be able to apply it to any head.
  9. What annoys me is when my character goes running off for no apparent reason, and wont stop no matter what button(s) I bang on. Typically only occurs when there are mobs about. -.-
  10. Gratz everyone on the Hami beat-down.
  11. I'm not a PvP'r but this sounds like a cool idea.

Something I've thought of while working on a MArc would be the ability to combine MA and the Arena. There are times when I'd rather the foe(s) in the MA missions were "the real deal."

While I may 'oops' a couple of times over multiple missions, when someone asks not to be SB'd I usually have to problem remembering to skip them. If you never ask then odds are, that they will always forget to skip shielding you.

Bioluminescent represents the change-from-within concept of posthumanity: with these parts, your hero or villain is clearly changing at a genetic level and doing so in style--with tintable glows that really pop in dark environments.

Organic Armor represents change-from-without. With these parts, you can acheive a carapace/exoskeleton look, as if your character is growing a new skin or shell or perhaps being taken over by a symbiotic entity. And for added visual punch, you get the tintable glows here too.

As a set, the Mutant pack gives you the abilty to make new heroes or villains to fit a fairly wide range of aestheic types: alien-corrupted, hell-spawn, genetic freak--all of that's doable with this set. And with 2 tails, wings, and sword, there's a cherry on top.

Here're some shots of the tails that you'll be getting in the next build, by the way:

    Bioluminescent tail

    Organic Armor tail

A monster-themed pack is something we can look into after Going Rogue, but that's a different set.

Until then, enjoy all the new toys!

Now that I've gotten over my initial euphoria...

All I know is I'd be a bit disappointed if the mutant pack -was- an animal booster pack.
That's just it, all of that can be done without buying a single booster pack. I think people (me included) were expecting more non-human features, ie. heads, tails, legs, etc. I love the new armours, glowies (though if they can only be applied to specific tops/bottom I will be disappointed,) but I was really hoping for what many of the others have mentioned.

  15. You're worth repeating it for...

    Happy hatching Day, StormVyxen!

  16. Yeah, the whole rooting during 'accepting' and fortune, can be detrimental to say the least.
  17. If it's an inactive account, the unclaimed email will be bounced back after 30 days. But yeah, I'd send another email asking if the item could be returned.

You've been around longer than I have and I don't consider myself a "log-time CoH veteran."

I would consider throwing any money towards a 3rd party guide to CoX a waste. Especially when I can find it for myself in ParagonWiki, find it in the forums, or ask my fellow forumites if those two don't provide what I am looking for. The knowledge of the players is amazing, the gall of someone attempting to sucker people into paying for something that is readily available for free is equally amazing.
  19. Happy Hatching Day, Archiviste, StormVyxen, VA Belle!!

  20. Thank you, Ghost Falcon. Didn't have a problem for the rest of the evening.
  21. And they're back...

    ...but for how long...?
  22. If you find that adjusting the graphics sliders are causing your game to crash, you can usually run the game in Safe Mode (it's that check box next to the 'I Accept' button on the second page of the launcher,) and adjust them.
  23. Character Naming Policy

At one point is were characters under level 35 that were effected. That was changed to level 5 and under.

Here's the original Announcement that the info on ParagonWiki was taken from.
