Either will work actually
'Enter' should make your chat box active, up arrow will give you your last entered command, continue hitting up arrow will scroll through the last 5-6 sent texts, (Not sure exactly how many, I'm at work.)
'Backspace' will respond to the last tell, but up arrow will replace that with your last sent text. -
Here is another option...
/suppressCloseFx 1 <--- This turns on disabling of personal graphics effects if your camera is within a certain distance of your character.
/suppressCloseFxDist 300 <--- This sets that certain distance. BAB recommended 300 ft. If you don't ever want to see your GFX, then set it to zero.
I set my Dist to 20, that way 3 clicks out on Zoom and I can see my auras/shields. -
Remember to log in to your Master Account and check on your Support Ticket, providing any relevant info and updating your support ticket. I often see others starting new tickets which only puts you back at square one.
Don't get discouraged, it takes time to sort these things out, and the first response is almost always a canned response, escalation means they've forwarded your issue on to the appropriate department.
For the few account issues I've had to have sorted out turn-around times for me have been anywhere from 2-5 days to resolve, but they have always been resolved.
It could be that it's somehow holding on to the expired card info, and needs to be manually cleared on NCsofts side. (Just guessing here.) I do hope that this gets resolved soon for you. -
Congratulations to all the winners!

Quote:Indeed...$%&@#*% awesome! Gut-wrenching and awesome.
In game terms, with Going Rogue just around the corner, this edition beautifully hightlights the profoundly difficult decisions our characters will soon face. We, as players, will just click to select a mission, but if we bother to consider the bigger picture, it's far more complicated than ever before.
Great, great dialogue and emotion Sooner.
While I'm opposed to leaving an enemy standing, I am not my characters. One in particular, is a pacifist. She cannot take a life and will often attempt to sway those that she works with. Not by arguing or browbeating them, but offering an opposing point of view or getting them to think of their actions and their consequences in another light.
She would understand Cerise's actions and thoughts, but on far more than an emotional level.
Well done, Sooner. -

Also, if you do find that you are getting inappropriate rep comments, click on the
on the post in which you received the comment and put in a note mentioning what was said in the comment (or copy paste.)
A Mod can then look at the post, the comment, and who gave it. -
Well, the only other thing I can suggest is doing a search from the root directory.

I already mentioned something like this over in DN's All Thing Art: Building Edition thread. Glad to see others think the same,
No mockups, but I'd like to see some places like these in the game.
Can we get some nice restaurants/pubs. Every time I'm wonder around Nerva, I see some really nice outdoor seating. Yet the only 'social' indoor atmosphere (leaving certain aspects aside,) are the bars Pocket D which have all the atmosphere of a college town dance club the morning after a weekend party. The Tiki Club is nice, but it is not accessible to everyone.
Seating is lacking or unusable, the place is never clean and most of the bar stools have been stolen.
It'd be nice if there were several locations throughout the zones that are restaurants on the outside, and if you click on the door, you enter someplace like this...
or
or
or
(Actually, I'd like to see a poorly lit, dingy version of this one for the Mermaid Tavern on Striga.) -
Do you have a CityofHeroes folder AND a Citytest folder?
Could you actually be looking in the wrong game folder to verify that the files are there?
ie: costumes/powercust in CoH, but loading Citytest or vice versa.
Not like I know this from experience or anything...

Outstanding, Sooner.
Leads one to wonder what sort of effect Cerise would have on Conall. -

You think we can PL the new Scrapper? -
Quote:^^ ThisThe only thing I see needing fixed regarding SG/VGs now is for the devs to give us the ability to offline invite our own alts to our own groups.

Offline promotions/demotions
Elimination of base rent
Quote:So, what can be done to make supergroups a useful part of the game again? I know some people will disagree with that statement, depending on the server you're on, but right now they don't serve a necessary part of the game (and some would argue they don't have to). Still, they should add something to the game and an add an additional layer of game play.
Right now, I just feel supergroups are there and don't add much to the gameplay experience other than a pool of people to play with; there's no added gameplay with being involved in one.
/end rant.
My SG is really just a place to pass through, craft, store, and nest. The RP'ers I routinely play with (no not on Virtue) is a hub. A great deal goes on in their SG and base; from meetings, to staging points for activities (TF's/missions/AE/etc,) or just kicking back. None of that would be the case if it weren't for the individual players putting forth the effort to make the SG more than just a roster of characters. -
I would argue against white, not only is it harsh on the eyes (self and others,) but other than spot lights, I rarely see concert light being just white. Blues, reds, yellows, etc. but rarely white.
Perhaps the palest shade of the colour, just to lend a hint, but I wouldn't recommend straight-up white. Though it would be my character, so knock yourself out. -
MM Botz footstomps now sound like rubber duckie squeaks, the MM Lt Demon RAWR is an child's giggle, And about half of Sonic sounds like wind chimes or birds.
Oh, and the Portal Corp portals are blessedly silent.
It's actually about 5-6 sounds, Dechs.

Well, I guess this answers my question...
Quote:Hey folks,
With the release of the "Issue 18: Overview" today, I wanted to address some questions that would naturally arise within the PvP community regarding the return of the Cathedral of Pain.
Previously the Cathedral of Pain was used to acquire Items of Power which were instrumental in Base Raiding. The initial implementation of the CoP was exploitable and ultimately removed. We have always wanted to revisit the CoP and return it to something players could participate in, and with Issue 18 we will be doing just that.
The new implementation of the Cathedral of Pain gives the choice of a number of rewards to players, but it does not contain Items of Power.
Base Raiding is currently on hold and not being actively worked on. We understand that this may disappoint some of you in the PvP community, but we wanted to tell it to you straight to minimize any confusion or false hope that Base Raiding would be addressed in this new iteration of the Cathedral of Pain.
Thanks,
Ghost Falcon -
Quote:Didnt we have to enter this trial through a raid teleporter in our base? It has been so long since I even brought those memories.
The funny thing was that in the Q&A I asked about the CoP and if it was coming back in I18/GR
That's why I asked.
And apparently the answer to your question is... Yes. XD
