You can join a team that is running AE mission, but you cannot start your own, or create your own arc if you are on a trial account.

NRG, are you contacting them directly or through the Support Ticket system? If it's the latter, ask to have the issue escalated.
Also, remember to update your status through the Support ticket (do not create a new ticket every time,) if they see no response from you after a certain period of time they will assume that the issue is resolved.
Personally, I've had great results with NCsoft support. If after 24 hrs, you are still having an issue, update your status and let them know that you still cannot purchase. Like anything else, I'm sure issues arise that they haven't dealt with, perhaps their usual method for fixing the issue you are having didn't work and they have to actually research what the problem might be.
Update your ticket every day if you have to, but let them know that "Hey, still not working." -
If memory servers me correctly that was a recent change to Ouro, within the last couple of Issues I think.

Quote:Actually, the only people I've heard of having a problem with the NCsoft Store are those residing in South-American countries, and it's not NCsoft, it's the vendor they are forced to go through. The NCSoft store is the only (legitimate) place to get the super boosters from.
If you are outside the U.S. that might be your problem. The store has issues with non-US credit cards, from what I understand (I don't really understand the specifics, that's just what I've heard).
Regardless, if you're having problems getting a credit card purchase through, you should be able to use one of the other payment methods.
I know you can use a PayPal payment for the subscription charge, and I *think* you can also use PayPal for other (ie booster pack) purchases.
I know you can use one of the pre-paid Visa gift cards to purchase booster packs (I did it last night). If you aren't in the U.S. I can't comment on how hard or easy those are to get, but in the U.S. you can pick one up from pretty much any grocery or convenience store. -
Quote:If you're looking for precise numbers, no - but the servers are always listed on the Select Server screen in the following order:
-Server you last logged onto
-Least active Server

-Most active Server (usually Freedom/Virtue)
fix'd
While population does have a lot to do with the lists order, I have also seen servers that are considered the least populated like Protector, as far down as the forth slot from the bottom. -
Quote:No, you don't have to wait for the trial period to end.Hey guys I have an account started with the free trial and just bought the full game but when I log in it's still asking me if I want to purchase the game or not. Do I have to wait for the trial period to end because I did enter the activation code on the ncsoft site.
Thanks
But, when you use the activation code you have to be sure to update your trial account. If you go to your NCsoft Master Account, and you see 2 accounts listed, then you created a second account. -
It could be a bug. You could start a support ticked through the Ask a Question tab, or possibly send a PM to TheOcho or Avatea.

Confused foes that have heals also count towards your heal badges.

Now I just need to learn to draw better... <.<

NA server maintenance may have disrupted the NCsoft store. Although it could also be you've hit the Max $$ purchase amount set for your account. Max is $250, although I think the default setting is lower than that.
I know you got your account recently, and also picked up some boosters, so the cap may be what you're hitting, Lone. Log into your NCsoft Master Account and check your preferences, may be under billing.
Quote:Lone speaks of this...City of Heroes... Sketch Book?
Does such a thing even exist? A search of the website only brings up character sketches done at a 'con. Unless there's something new that searching the COH site doesn't find that what you're looking for isn't available.
EDIT: Something I just noticed, when I click on Merchandise, it sends me to the EU store. That may be the problem, Lone. It's either a bug, or none of that merchandise is available in the US. -

As for the DB error, it is not always on their end. -

A question for the people that think that "Xxxx server is dead."
Is it really that difficult to create a community? Or is it just wanting an instant community, then sifting through the chafe to find people you'll likely team with again? Or is it about just being able to get a speed-run TF PuG withing minutes of signing on?
(Okay, that was more than one question, but I just typed the first question and kept going.)
See, the generalizations can go both way. Just as people will cap on Freedumb, or that Virtue is just one big Pocket-D. I've got character on both of those servers (heck, I have characters on all of the servers,) and while I have had good teams on Freedom, more often that not a PuG has had one or two people on it that are /petition-worthy.
I spend a lot of time on Protector, and it may seem 'empty' to someone used to Freedom, but it is far from inactive. I can easily get on a PuG at 11pm PDT or even 1am, even do a TF or two. It's been called the "Unofficial Solo Server", and while many of us do solo, I spend more time interacting with my fellow players, than not. While any of the 'low pop' servers can seem cliquish all it really takes is for people to put themselves out there. Get to know people and let them get to know you.
Despite it's apparent 'emptiness', Protector is the originator of the Mentor Project, that has since grown to nearly every server (only one EU server so far) with 100+ Mentors.
The servers do not need to be consolidated. Everyone plays the game in their own manner, regardless as to whether they are on Freedom, or Justice, or Guardian. Most of us started out not knowing anyone, we teamed with people some we never saw again, some of them we still play with today. I'm just saying that in order for a community to work, interaction has to go both ways.
If people really are interested in the best that CoX has to offer as far as player interaction has to offer, build it yourself. This is the only way to guaranty that you will be playing with people that hold similar interests. This in no way means that you have to start from scratch, although you could. Any community starts with just two people and grows from there. -
My MOST enjoyable character?
The one I was playing on with my friends last night.
You'll get the same answer if you ask this question every day, and not matter what character I am on, the answer will be the same.
Doesn't matter if I'm on my Fire/Fire Scrapper and dancing on the Tanks head, or on my Warshade while a friend is on his Peacebringer, or I'm working a wedding with my Ice/Rad Controller (she makes such lifelike sculptures, it's truly amazing.) -

I check their Vet badges. If I don't see them I will usually send them a tell about the rules against duplicating a Copyrighted/Trademarked infringement.
If they have Vet badges, then they should know better. They do not get any communication from me.
I do not waste my playtime hunting down violators, but I petition those that I come across. -
Quote:I reject your reality and substitute my own.The indisputable fact is that giving benefits to new customers which are not also extended to existing, even long-time customers, fosters resentment in those long-time customers. It sends the very clear signal that their money has been very much appreciated... their desires, not so much.
"We love our fans" rings hollow when those fans see so much effort cynically focused on appeasing retail outlets and new subscribers with nothing offered to them for their support.
Oh, well.
DASHER
I bought the digital Pre-Purchase from NCsoft AND got the GameStop Pre-Order.
Yep, they love me so much that they gave me a way to play Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning early, AND get extra goodies.
It's like.... magic!
