    Shutting down and relaunching CoX, usually works for me.

    Back when I had Norton clogging my system I had to re-allow CoX and the Updater often. Check your firewall and re-allow both .exe's.

    I think they actually stated that of all the names freed up, few were claimed.

    Although, I agree with Electric-Knight, that if there is no global name attached to a name then it should be freed up.

    Yeah, my HP laptop with nVidia GPU died. Twice. The first time was covered under warranty. Now it's just sitting in my closet.

    Yeah, I forgot to mention the localization bit. Because he said he had downloaded the NA trial version, I assumed that he would be at the US Store.

    Roadmaster, also you should be able to change to the US store up at the top, right corner of the NCsoft page, there's a drop-down that will say either English (US) or English (GB). You obviously want the English (US) one.

    You can purchase any version to get the full CoH/CoV game, although you wont have access to Going Rogue (Aug 17th) unless you buy the Expansion. A Complete Edition will be available (which includes the game) I think on the day it goes live.

    You will find the Good vs Evil Edition handy. It give you a Jump Pack which is nice to have at the lower level until you wish to pick up a travel power. You also get a VIP Pass which grants you a Pocket D teleport power along with access to the Tiki Club in Pocket D where you can see Trina the Tailor.

    Hmm, thanks for the pointers Korith. Perhaps it would just be easier to have a different key bound for each power. I am far from understanding bind files. <.<

    So if I wanted to bind the numpad 0 for Fallout and numpad 1 for Rez?

    /bind numpad0 powexecname fallout

    /bind numpad1 powexecname mutation

    Correct?

    Along these lines can I bind two powers to go off consecutively? I'd like to be able to hit Fallout on a fallen teammate, and then Rez.

    You had to create an account when you first logged into the game (if I remember correctly, it's been a while.) In order to upgrade your account, you have to 'subscribe' and tell NCsoft how you are going to pay them, either credit card, game time card, or PayPal.

    Once they have that information, they will then provide you with a code that you will apply to an account. Be warned, it may give you two options "Apply to Xxxxx account" or "Create a new account", you'll want to upgrade your existing trial account if you want to keep what you've created so far.

    I'm not sure if they still send you the complete code in an email, once you've subscribed.

    By the way, Welcome to the game! Glad to hear you're enjoying it, if you have any questions feel free to pop into the Mentor Project. Mentors will also provide in-game help as well, though you wont be able to join the "New Player Channel" (/chanjoin "N P C") until you've subscribed to the game due to Trial Account Restrictions.

    You downloaded the NA version. When you log in to your NCsoft Master Account and go to upgrade your City of Heroes account, it should ask for billing information. Once you provide a method of payment, it should then apply the code to the account you are upgrading.
