    Too late.

    XD

Gratz to our EU brothers and sisters on this contest! Now, get to work on the new NPC!

The Devs did know that this would come up, because people asked about it back at HeroCon and they stated at that time that the War Walls would not be going away.

The only completely reliable method I have found is to FIRST type:

    THEN:
    /unhideall
Especially if you just swapped from a character that was hidden, it tends to carry it over to the next character even though the hide dialog box has nothing selected.

As far as I can recall, access to the forts is based on 'staying true'. Now, if you do not have GR, then there is no way for your character to switch sides, and are basically always 'true'.

    <shrug>

Just a thought. I also thought that the Forts required GR, but obviously, that's not the case.

    Time Cards

Sorry to hear about the accounts hacking, Bungee.

I've gotten mine at Best Buy as well. A friend in the Chicago area told me he actually pick some up at a gas station. <.<

I've heard of 7-11's carrying them too.
  8. That's flippin' outstanding, DB.

  9. Give Archery some Proc love.

Slot Decimation: Chance for Buildup, Devastation: Chance to Hold, and if you can afford it Apocalypse: Chance for NE Damage and Gladiator's Javelin: Chance for Toxic in Snap Shot and Aimed Shot. With decent recharge, you can fire off one of those every couple of seconds, greatly increasing your chance for one or more of those Procs to fire off.
  10. Along with what Malk said, there is also a huge stigma with advertising yourself as a 'healer'. A good amount of players (myself included) will automatically assume that you're going to put your heal on auto-fire, pass out a couple of buffs here and there, and in general be nothing but a leech. Regardless as to whether the person plays like that or not, I've given up on 'h3al0r roulette'.
  11. There are two link colours options for your powers, link across powerset and link across all powers. Just so you know.

    And...

    Welcome to the game.
  12. What Snow Globe said. If you are ex'd down below 20 you are not supposed to get tip missions.
  13. On average, 20 minutes or less. One occasion exceeded 2 hrs but I had logged off by then as it was late.

The most recent one was last weeks and the GM showed up in about 10 minutes. I can't say I've had a bad experience with the GMs.
  14. I asked for this in Beta.
  15. Don't forget, both your character and the foes must be 20+.

    Gaining XP

No matter what I do, I can't seem to get that last 1 point of xp. Is this a known issue...?

I',m sure the boat rentals at the other end were going...

    "Where the ##### our boats!?!"

    XD

And I didn't want to threadjack replying to Caemgen's post in another thread... but his post made me think of this cartoon version of

    Maxwell's Silver Hammer
  18. Also, Rage Reaver, check out the Mentor Project. There are plenty of people here as well as in-game that answer your questions and show you around.

Oh, and welcome to the game.

Panzer, in my first week of playing this game a hero gave me 250K. Being squeaky green, to me that WAS a lot of money.

If the OP had made say maybe 35k in inf through normal play, then spent 25k in buying and crafting, then to them, it was a lot. It all about perception. Don't you remember 'way back when...'?
  20. Tex, knowing nothing about programming I came across something on Stackoverflow about Reducing flickering in GDI+ and C++.

The only problems I've had in the past with Aero is Alt+Tab'ing, when using a custom desktop theme it would eventually disable Aero. Not to mention that this is a recent issue, and I've been on Win7 for nearly a year.

I'll turn Aero off when I get home tonight and see if it has any effect.

EDIT: If Disabling Aero doesn't solve the problem, I came across this seeing as how I'm stuck at work:

    Instructions:
    1. Click Start .
    2. In the Start Search textbox type Services.msc If prompted by the UAC, provide a password or confirmation. Click Continue .
    3. Scroll down until you locate the entry that is labeled Desktop Window Manager Session Manager.
    4. Right-Click on this service. Select Stop from the context menu.
    5. Right Click once again on the entry. Select Properties from the context menu.
    6. Go to the “General Tab ” to change the start up type to Disabled. Click OK .
I tried it and all the symptoms stopped immediately.
The only downside that I see is that windows Aero is disabled and the "open window preview" you see when you mouse over the taskbar icons is disabled.
However, this is just a workaround and this issue is still a bug, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
  22. Interesting.

It would be nice if they gave us a recording device.
  23. Awesome additions, Comrade.

That War Bride has one BFG. o.O
  24. Indeed, keep that lad inspired, PowerStream.

    I particularly like the Reptile-dude.
