I'm Proud to be an American by Lee Greenwood (This song came out while I was in Basic Training, so it had a very profound and fitting impact on us at the time.)

Not at all!
Pots just sit there and gurgle a little, sometimes spill over and make a mess.
Kettles on the other hand, keep things nicely contained, and when they come to a boil, they make an almost musical noise. -
Quote:I've spent more time on Stalkers since GR came out, than I have in the preceding 3 years.Isn't this discussion a tad bit early?
I suspect Stalkers will be the Odd man out when the harder Incarnate content comes in but its not here yet.
I don't know pot, kettle had a pretty good argument. -
If it fits my character's concept then I take <insert travel power here>.

Going gang-buster with the posting, Comrade. Keep 'em comin'! -
<confuses Sapper>
Sapper to Kronos: Tag! You're it! <zap>
<team giggles like a bunch of schoolgirls>
There's also the benefit of Crey Medics, Rikti Guardians and Priests, etc healing goes towards your own healing badge.
The only time my teammates said something about Confuse is when I hit Scirocco and he went after Ghost Widow, so not only did the tank lose aggro, it got Scirocco within support range of GW when he shrugged it off.

Quote:Nah, it should be a ware house like this...Personally, I just feel it's a missed opportunity for fairly little overhead. The Black Market can literally have a sewer grate right next to it which leads to a capped-off sewer entrance with a few stalls of "extra exclusive goods" which are too obvious to be held topside, like long-range missiles, vehicles and suchforth.
I'm not sure it'd be as cheap to make for Wentworth's, but I would personally be happy with an emptied-out office building with crates piled up, or indeed even a generic warehouse. It'd be like... Well, you can browse our catalogues, or if you really really want to, you can search our warehouse. We have many things already stocked. See if you spot something you like. That's basically what super markets here are, anyway - giant hangar warehouses where the first two rows are presentable and everything from there up is boxed crates and shrink-wrapped pallets.

Congratulations and enjoy yourself, PK.
Don't be a stranger. -
Along with the 1-star, I would have put his SG in the notes, just to avoid any other members of the same SG.

Quote:Except 'Studio B' isn't quiet, as you can still hear all the powers of everyone in the main room, as well as the cars outside, the Rikti invasions, etc.Funny. The Architect came out with a "quiet room" for this precise reason. And even back during the Architect boom, I saw precisely one person ever use it. I'm sure more did, but the crowds in the regular rooms were always dense and the crowds in the quiet rooms didn't even qualify as multiple people.
As far as I'm concerned, the Praetorian Trading House is horrible. Some of my characters happen to be designed to always fly, either via Hover or Fly, and in there they are grounded. Several of my characters run multiple toggles, some of which root me when they activate, and I don't fancy having to retoggle them.
It's interesting to me that people always reach for the "politeness" hypocrisy, when it's always people with pets and toggles who have to comply, and never people without them who have to put up. So to avoid inconveniencing you, I have to let you inconvenience me, and if I don't, I'm the bad guy? You may be able to see how that idea fails to endear itself to me.
If it takes having a quiet room for people to be happy, then fine. Drop a below-ground cubicle at Went's and a sewer area near the Black Market and be done with it. But for Pete's sake, stop dropping my toggles when all I want to do is check to see if anything sold. Either that, or sit an Auction House employee in front of the building and count how many people ever bother to walk in again.
I personally love the AH in Imperial City.
The issue most of us have is not with people that run in to WW/BM between mission to empty their pockets. It's the people that stand their for half and hour with their AoEs/pets/shields/toggles/etc running. And let's not forget the people that have to spam every AoE the have when they log off.
I would love it if they would give us a separate room to enter, leaving the open air markets unaffected, as long as the room is far enough underground that I cannot still hear their powers.
I used to get annoyed at the suggestion that 'we' should have our own room. I used to think to myself "@#%$## that! Make the people that don't want to turn off their powers go to their own special place." Which was just a knee-jerk reaction. If I want peace and quiet it's because I'm going to be spending some time at the market. It really makes no sense to make a player between mission/returning from the hospital/etc to have to zone into and out of the AH when they're going to be in an out.
Give WW a door we can click on so I can spend an extended stay in piece and quiet. Give the BM trucks a clickable door on the cab to give us a similar room. -
I looked and didn't see it mentioned, but I'd like to add these to the Base Building Wishlist...
Bottoms/backs to items, it's extremely annoying to place an item overhead/away from a wall and it to be either invisible or to have the majority of the object missing.
Merge. When multiples of the same object has been stacked or placed together (cabinets, desks, etc.), allow us to merge those objects so that they can be moved as one object. (Imp, I think you mentioned being able to move items together like a desk with stuff on it, I'd like to see it more robust than that.)
Flora without pots/planters, and ones that are low profile ie nearly flush with the floor. Plants that are wall hangers and free-hanging. -
/suppressCloseFx 1 <--- This turns on disabling of personal graphics effects if your camera is within a certain distance of your character.
/suppressCloseFxDist 300 <--- This sets that certain distance. BAB recommended 300 ft. If you don't ever want to see your GFX, then set it to zero.
I have mine set to 20, so with about 3 scroll wheel clicks out I can see what's on me. -
Look here How to silence specific game sounds, Zombie Man at posts 313 compiled the sounds listed in the thread so far in a spreadsheet and provided a link.

Dang, Comrade. Those are some very nice additions to your collection. I can't wait to see the duo coloured.
Love the latest War Bride, bet then I've always been partial to sketches. -
Quote:Yeah, it's on top of his head.Hes got a good point though.
You don't do alot with Bubbles, but you bring more protection to the team then an Emp that is constantly spamming heals.
He/she/it implied that ALL Empaths are nothing but healbots. Which is patently incorrect. -
I've come across it flying around in that mission before.

Just one character or all characters? One server or on all servers?
There are times when zones go down and and your character is left in limbo. If you can log on to another character on the same server, do so, then petition it making sure to name your character that is inaccessible. A GM will have to move him/her/it. -
