Forcefield.
Not because of the powerset in itself, I don't mind keeping up bubbles on players, it the visuals themselves the bubbles just give me a headache. I can only play Rainbow Sherbet for a limited amount of time, as well as team with other bubblers for a limited time. -
Quote:<chortle>Well, for what it is worth...
I think making the Info Terminals bring up the Help Window is a great idea!
Addendum:
Or
Clicking on Info Terminals would enter the command: "/tell @Arcanaville, Help me, Arcanaville, you're my only hope!"
And good idea, Grey. -

Had a code, sat at Processing forever, then reset. -.-
But at least I got a screenie of the 'Applying Code" screen.
Well, I got a confirmation email. Wont be able to check until I get home around 10. -
Store is down, it's the only time I've ever seen purchased slots evaporate.
Typically the 'Store' button will be missing as well. -
Ah, I missed the "Vigilante" and "blue side" comments. Then the only option is to use the generic tunnel entrances.

Quote:Also, you will either have to work as a Loyalist infiltrator, working undercover in the Resistance. Once you're 'undercover' you should get more and more Resistance contacts, and gain access that way.I am trying to figure how to get my character into underground Pratoria. When I go to the resistance door it say I am a loyalist and can't enter. The same thing happens when I go to the Loyalist door. My character is a Vigilante that was started on the blue side. Any ideas?

You could have sent in a /petition and have a GM pull him out of the lava. It could have been that a blast sent him into one of the rocks and trying to stand up put him under it, perhaps putting him just out of conversation range. <shrug>

It appears that the toggles dropping while zoning is back again.
Practically every time I exit my base my toggles are off. Superior Invisibility and Super Speed were detoggled. -
Excuse me, but what is this 'Curse Breaker' everyone is speaking of?
Whatever it is, I do not think it is mandatory to succeed in this mission, as I've done it four or five time without it. -
Quote:Okay, maybe I should have written that in reverse order, those complaining about the foes in the Incarnate arc are likely the same ones that complained about the supposed difficulty in Praetoria, who probably also PL'd past level 20.What about those of us who PL to 22 because we hate the early levels and STILL love Praetoria and handled it just fine?
Life is not binary. I don't think I've rolled a new character since GR came out except my spider who didn't go through Praetoria.
I wasn't implying that everyone who PL's past low level content complained about Praetoria. -
Quote:So, four extra powers with their basic slots are a nerf now? This is the best part about i19: the baseless complaining about "fewer slots" or what have you. DEVS NERFED MAH SLOTTINS
And I've not had any difficulty respec'ing my characters, log in and poof, they're done. Except for finding something to put in those three new slots. -
Quote:Nah, I think it's more likely that they are the same ones that PL to level 20 skipping all the low level content, then complained about the supposed difficulty of Praetoria.I think that the people who are having the most problems with this missin are the ones who spend far too much time getting power leveled and abusing exploits in the AE.
ducks and runs from the people with the flame throwers.
Praetoria reminded me what it was like when I first started playing, I love it. -
Quote:I think Slate was directing you towards his sig.I recently re-installed COH and used to have a patch that changed the praetorian character loading screen from that garish yellow to a nice purple. Now I can't find where I dl'd it from. Anyone have a lead?

Quote:ABC, the times you are playing puts it around 5-6am US West coast time and 8-9am East coast time, it's no wonder you're having issues with finding people. Have you tried just waiting/looking for a team in Ouro? Is it possible for you to get on around 6-7 your time?Yes, it's Justice and it is currently dead quite, just after midnight local time.
Luv the way any discussion here degenerates into slagging off at the poster.
btw tried the suggestion of killing the clones, didn't help he just spawned more :-(. I have completed this successfully in a team but solo with 3 different blasters no way.
and to rub salt in you can't auto complete the mission.
As for Trapdoor, some characters can wade right in and smash away at him, for others it will require tactics. I solo'd him on my Ill/Emp Controller, totally ignored his clone(s) other than an occasional confusion.
I can't remember what you said your build is on your blaster, but they're not called 'Glass Hammers' for nothing. But inspirations are your friend, and often people forget the Empowerment Station. If your character is in an SG that has one, use it.
Have you tried asking for help down in the Justice forums? I play on Justice myself, but just not at that time of the morning for me. I suppose I could make an exception for a fellow Justicite, my Ice/Rad makes making quick work of Trapdoor, Holtz, and the Weakened Honoree seem simple.
As for the components that can be gotten at the end of certain TF's, they can also be crafted from shards. The TF's are not the only way to get them, I crafted two of my Uncommon components that way last night. -
Quote:Actually, I was hearing this...As I was reading the thread I was visualizing Fritzy running around in-game screaming "YOU ARE UNWORTHY!!!" in a british accent
Quote:Not so. During solo play only, I've Crafted my first Common and have 2 shards towards the uncommon; 2 Gr'ai Matter stored and 500 V-Merits towards whatever they need to be used for in the future. The fact is...I've been Lucky. And reliance on pure, dumb Luck is what I want to see reduced in the Incarnate system.
Quote:all it takes to be a "worthy player" is $14.95 a month.
your money's no better than anyone elses, so suck it up buttercup. -
Quote:Pounding on a single, even-con target for 5, 10, 20 minutes is not an efficient use of endurance. If you're taking more than a minute or two to knock off an even-con target, then your build is inefficient.Reread the post above yours. This thread is about making a build that is more endurance efficient. I haven't posted on this topic before, though I have posted about endurance before.
Throw some Procs into your Tier 1 and 2 attacks, as well as Air Sup. -
Other than the market, or giving them away...
Slot them on an unused character, respec, don't slot them and get back the cost on them.
Other than that, I got nothing. -
Quote:Asking for help is a valid tactic.Half the posts in this thread, however, have been you and maybe 1 or 2 others complaining about the solutions offered by the wide variety of other folks.
The people asking for help in RWZ or Oro... are getting help. You apparently don't want that help, and that's why you keep insisting that the mission's so awful.
Down in the Protector threads, Janlee - a very fine player of long-term standing and a friend to everyone except his coworkers (lol) - is having trouble getting his defender through it. And while some of the comments are "dude what? we know you can do it" we are saying that knowing that the moment he asks for help in Jello Shooters, he'll GET HELP. Every one of us is willing to head over and help with these missions, because they ARE hard.
And?
Don't need a huge team. Don't really even need more than 1 person with you. It's just not that big of a deal if you simply accept the fact that You Are Told To Get Help, right in the mission description.
Help can come in many ways, too. Asking 'hey what if I ...' or 'need a tank/blaster/pocketkin now!' or whatever. Just... be willing to ACCEPT the help, when it's given. Otherwise, you're just making it way worse than it needs to be.
Fff, I used Amy's Ward on it... *headdesk* But still, survived just fine, waded through the portals and their spawns even after she was gone. Surprised me actually, once the two EBs are gone from the scene, you are essentially free to leave or stay... Darn shame those spawns don't give any inf or anything.
If one wants to solo, whether it's Ramiel's arc, World Wide Red, or a GM, (insert any other traditionally difficult task) you had better have the build for it, or a tray full of inspirations, or some temp power backup, or any combination of the above. Plan on pulling and running if you have to.
This is supposed to be hard. It is not impossible.
And considering that the portals puke up spawn after spawn, it'd be ridiculously easy to farm. -
What I don't get is that the allies you pick up at the door in the Praetorian mission will follow you no matter what, while rescuees become horribly lost when you take one step away from them.

It's having a Major arc in the works, whether you have a mission active or not. I ran into this on my main.
I abandoned every mission she had, and he still wouldn't talk to me. I'm pretty sure World Wide Red from Crimson in PI as a Major arc. (At work and can't currently check on it.) That's probably the holdup.
Until I clear it, Ramiel wont talk to me.
Edit: Digging around Paragon Wiki, says that them max Major story arc that can be run concurrently is 5. I must be at the limit. -
I love their Gold Titles.

As far as I know, it's always been 50 Reward Merits.
