    how do i do that?

    [/ QUOTE ]

After the fight, if you go back to your cell, you can click on the matches that you just fought and replay them, then paste their url.

    Like this one.

Then anyone can watch the fight.

Yeah when forming us up this past Tuesday...I was like who is Red Valkyrja...I wish I could get Angel Red to join, but have to save Valkyrja's spot. LOL Then I noticed the sig and was like WOOHOO! Why do you not want both your global and forum to be the same?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Because I'm paranoid.

  3. Awe, you should have posted the fight, OD.
  4. Choices... choices...

    This, or the Pentad...
  5. Dang, so the NPC's are already going rogue?
  6. Umm... Hex, it's on test. We have no idea as to when it will actually go up for sale.
  7. During a RWZ Ship raid is also the only way to get that last exploration badge to get the RWZ Beacon for you SG.
  8. Here's a player created guide to 'Getting a Forum Avatar'.

As for actually taking screenshots, hit you 'Print Screen' button in game. To get a good headshot, you can take it while in the Costume Editor )I like to zoom in and hit the 'Save' button, as it clears away the rest of the costume editor UI.)

To turn your camera around in the game, hold down your 'Page Up' key and 'mouselook' (holding down your right mouse button and sliding you mouse.) "page Down' or 'B' will return you to default view.

EDIT: I use Photobucket myself, but both it and Imageshack give you easy to use abilities to resize/crop images.

Once you take a screenshot ingame, a 'screenshots' folder will be automatically created. Browse to that folder, find an image you want to use, right-click on it and select 'Open with > Paint'.

You can then just click 'File > Save As...' and name the new image. You might even think about creating a new folder while you're at it to make your images easier to locate.

Once you create an account on an image hosting sights, upload that image. They will give you several options on the image tag, always use the 'Direct Link' for your avatar.

Just remember, every time you change anything in your Personal information section, you will have to type in you password and verify it.

  9. /facepalm

Those are not true costume changes, it's a temp power just like the Halloween costumes that get dropped, or my Harlequin costume, it's a 'static' model.

It's been explained before, in much more detail than I can com up with at the moment, but I'm sure someone will be along with a more concise explanation.
  10. Don't assume that this means that Science Booster will be going live Soon™, there are still issues with the 'body type' switching and I found several to do with viewing weapons and shields in the costume creator/editor.
  11. I could swear I posted in here. Something about simple pleasures for simple minds...

  12. Well, Monday is my Saturday, it looks like I'll be sub'ing at my Mom's pinochle game. It should be done by 5 (PDT.)
  13. I'd offer to help, but I'm clueless about PvP.
  14. Bringing a female character is beside the point for me. They just happen to be the only ones that are high enough to actually contribute to the TF.

And Kyo, Angel is still in my sig. I just didn't want my forum name and my global to be the same once forum migration happens.

You get an email from NCsoft (Paragon) inviting you to Closed Beta.

LOL, I can't imagine no one bugged that STF bug.

Methinks BaBs may have been out of the loop on it.

After a quick chat with Castle, no...it appears we weren't aware of this particular issue. He's chalking it up to some recent changes with AI and we're going to evaluate what might have changed and how it affects the task force.

I've done a bit of poking around on the forums and there appears to be conflicting reports on how much of an impact this is having. Some are saying it's now impossible, others have said that it's noticeable, but still manageable. Bottom line is, we're aware of it now and we're looking into whether or not anything needs to be changed.

For things like this, that have a very dramatic impact on game play, cause crashing, affect a lot of people, can be used as major exploits, etc...it'd be really helpful if you could bring those issues to the forums where they have a chance of being immediately and directly seen by us.

In game '/bug' reports go directly to QA in Austin, who shuffle through them, verify them, and add them into our bug tracking database before sending them our way where they get doled out to individuals to fix. That process can take a long time.

    [/ QUOTE ]

As someone who uses /bug a lot ingame to report things I come across, I'm a bit saddened by this statement. If this is really the case, then I think you guys need to have an audit on how effective this process is going, no?

Relying on forums and PM's to a few high profile devs who may not even have any expertise on the exact issue is kind of..how best to describe it...amatuerish?.. No offence intended. This process wont work on a large scale. Imagine if Blizzard worked like this? This is simply ludicrous to demand players PM a dev or post bugs on the forum.

And yes, we know /bug is a slow process, try not to destroy what little faith we have in it..

I DID bug it, and I DID post on the forums about it. I don't know what else was expected.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And we're very appreciative that you took the time to do so. I don't want you guys to infer that bugging things in game is useless, just that it's only one avenue to bring things to our attention. We get bugs from many sources. Sometimes they come from QA, sometimes they're pulled from the forums, other times they come from PMs or even personal experiences.

    [/ QUOTE ]

EDIT: Added emphasis, because few companies rely solely on internal testing, as far as I know not a single MMO does.
  18. They sent out a 30 min Update notice when I was inputing that last bug.

I love this. Please get upset when a booster is released with bugs. Please get upset when the booster is tested to prevent bugs being released.

I loved when i15 was released, and I saw someone complaining that there were bugs, and it's shameful for the devs to release something that doesn't work correctly. Someone else pointed out that nobody was around to test the stuff on the test server.

So yeah, I'd say if you don't participate in testing, you have no right to complain when there are bugs.

One thing I've noticed is the way some posters write their bugs. "When I was in mission Xxxx, after doing Xxx xxxx, this happened/didn't happen."

Might as well have been: "I couldn't leave my house this morning." Was it because the deadbolt wouldn't unlock? Because you went on a bender last night, and couldn't find the door? Because the garage door wouldn't open? Because your your wife tied you to the bed?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sometimes that is all I can personally put in.. I mean I once ran a vanguard mission where the guy I was supposed to defeat Spawned in as an Ally Pet, as did his entire mob. I couldn't defeat him or fire on him at all because he was an ally.

When I bugged it. All I could say was "I went in this mission, the guy I was supposed to beat spawned as an ally."

I would have loved to have given more details but hell, I don't know why the game did that. (And did it every time I reset the mission after.) I just know, "Target Z" Was an ally and couldn't be fired on or interacted with in any way.

Now if the Devs gave me access to their code and spread sheets, I know I could track down the problem lickity split, I've taken apart a lot of video games in the past and once I know how the data is stored, organized etc, I can get through stuff like that damned fast. ( I analyze data at work on the time.) But if they gave me access to all that, then I'd be working there..

*ahem* Which I would certainly like to do. ::Glances at HR.::

    [/ QUOTE ]

They are currently having a similar issue with Snaptooth at the moment, I believe when he comes out of the ground for the 3rd time.

Was this Vanguard mission something recent? Did the person you were supposed to defeat spawn when you entered the mission instance, or was he spawned when another task was performed? You know, "find this", "destroy that", etc.

Did you get GM assistance to complete that mission?

As for jobs, you might want to check here.
