Quote:Cats and dogs can live in peace, it all depends on how they were brought up.You'd think so, but you're wrong.
There's a strong Jewish lobby over here which likes to play the Holocaust card everytime they don't get their way. Likewise, some Israeli governments have liked to do so whenever they had a political agreement with the German state. Which, amusingly enough, leads to a certain amount of resentment towards Jews on the German side. Maybe cats and dogs really can't live in peace. -
What TonyV said, and for a great deal of information on the game itself, click on the Paragon Wiki in his sig.
Welcome to the game!

Look above and to your left, there is a little downward pointing arrow and it says "View First Unread". If you click on it, it will take you to the first post that you haven't read in that thread.
Is that the kind of 'leap to' you were looking for? When I click on 'Suggestions & Ideas' I'm, taken to the 'S&I' section where I see all the threads in the folder. Is it not doing this for you? -
Yep, it's going to be a trial to edit all those links.

Positron_CoH: I can't believe we forgot the patch note about Pets zoning with their owners in I16.

Quote:Considering what already occurred, maybe because it has to be... ya know... tested.Yes, I know the server queue change is ultimately meant for all the servers. My point relates to the timing of applying it (for testing or otherwise) to the test server such that it closes access to the character creation process during closed beta unless you are a closed beta tester.
Just guessing. -
Quote:I'm pretty sure the code is meant for all servers (he did mention Freedom) so that during heavy play times (2XP, new issue releases) that people logging in to servers will now get placed in an access que to enter.Very convenient that the server queue code change gets applied at a time when the unanointed and unwashed masses (among whom I miserably count myself) will most want to get a look at character creation, as we have been able to do during every closed beta so far. Timing, as they say, is everything ...

I'm hoping my interpretation was incorrect.
As for that "other beta", one eye-bleeding experience with it was enough for me. -
And I took his message the other way, that people were getting in, and they are fixing it so that only I16 Beta testers have access.
-
I guess it all depend on where they want people playing with it, or testing it.
-
Bab's statement, as written, can be taken either way.

Do not assume that because you are not getting auto-logged out, that others are not. I was having this problem on my Vista machine at home, clearing the cache/cookies (and just for the heck of it Window Washing) then rebooting solved it, the Mac at work still has this problem.

Thanks GV. I try to pay attention to the announcements, guess I was in just too much of a hurry this evening.

8. Hecate.Hellskiten
And with the latest patch, I am unable to log on. -
It's all good. BB got some volunteers from "JS" and we ran the RTF. 01:39:24
It was great fun, but it seems that Trickshooter just had to steal my 'Die in every mission' title.

Seeing as how people can choose their own cut-off date on 'threads to show' (one more way users can limit their own views) I'm with TJ and see no reason for limiting what I or anyone else can look through.
