Quote:Oh my God, this.I'd love to see an Arachnos version of Firebase Zulu, and some villian only content in new Shadow Shard zones. But I'm also for having a co-op zone, with the same amount of action and content you see in the RWZ now.
EDIT: Actually, maybe it could be a "sequel" to the RWZ, as in the Vanguard is taking the fight to Nemesis directly, now, this time allied with the peace loving Rikti who realized they've been played, and they've established a base in the Shadow Shard close to Nemesis' own. Then we could get to see a Vanguard version of Firebase Zulu, and an upgraded version of Nemesis' base. Would that be cool or what?
As well, the whole concept also begs for a PvP zone on top of all that. Some resource that both sides covet and don't want the other to have, so there's a struggle there. I don't know, maybe revisit the whole "items of power" concept with that? That might work out somehow. -
I always thought it was to be able to see Rez prompts etc.

My (future) Demon Summoning Mastermind will be a Midnighter who was renowned for his mastery of dark arts. After dabbling in a demon binding tome, his soul was torn from his body and banished to the Ninth Circle of Hell by the demon he was attempting to summon. The demon binding worked in reverse, with the demon using his soulless body as a puppet

Well, almost all people originated from Africa so suck on that, racists

Gratz! Looks like you'll have tenfold the N00b Busting power

The infantile burst merits the mummy beside an alternate nickname.
The sea storm integrates the light beneath a spiral rabbit.
But this is my favourite: Why does a commissioned page scream the cooking religion?
I think this is based off similar tech to the Rikti translator -
Thought this would be the most suitable place to post this.

Quote:This.Freaks and Nemesis.
I love the look and the personality of the Freaks. Not many villain groups will taunt you in 1337speak. Even the Freak contact, Doc Buzzsaw, is great. I make it a point to run Buzzsaw's arcs on every villain I make. "Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?"
Nemesis is great because he's behind pretty much everything that goes on in CoH. While the "everything is a Nemesis plot" feeling gets a bit old (I'm out of coffee? It's a Nemesis Plot!), I love the obsurd and drawn-out plots of Nemesis. The Automatons are my personal favorite Nemesis enemy and I even made an Automaton character.
And Circle of Thorns. I think they're fun to fight and there's a good bit of variety in their groups.
Aesthetics-wise it has to be Rularuu though. -
Brilliant ideas! They get my vote

I'd like this idea, but first fix the whole Text Box+Cursor=DOOOOooooOOOOm scenario first. Get's EXCEPTIONALLY annoying if you're editing an arc.

I'd like this. It would be a nice little addition.

Quote:Sounds fun. Too bad there's no Euro versionThe Iron Eagles were inspired by on Diablo 2's "Hardcore" mode, where death permanently grayed out the character and made the entire character unplayable (and equipment lost). It's not really debt that bothers us -- it's defeat.
The rules we play by are similarly hardcore -- any defeat, even if it's not your fault, equals "death" and results in the character leaving the group (you can theoretically play the character on your own time as if he/she had never been killed, of course, but not as an Eagle. Many players just delete their Eagles when they die.) This includes things like if you zone into an outdoor zone during a Zombie invasion, or you have someone's higher-level ambush spawn on top of you, and other such awful things. Unfair deaths (particularly lag-induced fatalities) were a staple of Diablo 2 hardcore as well, and it bred a certain bitter pride into us.
Yes, it's crazy and can be heartbreaking.
It also adds some excitement to COH. In a world where death usually just means clicking one inspiration and taking a knee, the Iron Eagles will sometimes get your blood going a little faster. Also, when was the last time you heard anyone say "Fall back!" as enemies pressed in on the team? When was the last time you really, really appreciated a defensive buff? -

You might be better off posting this in The European Lounge or the Union Sub-forum in the Server section

Edit: Was just going through my comments and found another gem: Someone sent me a complaint that they thought my arc was way too hard for his lowbie, and should be set at 20. The entire arc is level locked at 20.
