This is a well known bug, I believe. I first noticed it in I14 beta when making an arc, but it may have existed before then.
-
This is a nice idea, but to be honest I'd much rather they put the effort into revamping the existing pvp zones so people might actually use them for something other than getting the temp powers. When a hero and a villain meet in a supposed warzone and both ignore each other cause they don't want to risk losing their ore samples or launch codes, something is wrong.

[ QUOTE ]
Every inherent is a power, including Conditioning. So it is separate from the base, and not enhanceable.
[/ QUOTE ]
But that's not how it works according to the combat attributes window and real numbers on the power in question. (The conditioning power lists no effects, and the increase in regen/recovery is displayed as a higher base.)
So if that's not how it works, either it needs to be changed to work like that or the combat attributes/real numbers need to be changed to reflect how it actually works. Of the two, I would imagine the latter to be easier. -
[ QUOTE ]
The characters Scale is recorded in the costume file so I don't think you need to /demorecord to get it.
[/ QUOTE ]
All the other scales are, but height isn't. Or at least, loading a saved costume doesn't change your character's height, even in character creation. -

like a rocket and gun attack should they be piloting a skiff
[/ QUOTE ]
I would just like to say that even without said attacks, I would love to be able to fly around in a stolen Sky Skiff. Or even one of those Longbow Chasers that you get as a veteran reward at some point. -
I could be wrong about this, but I believe as of I15, all AVs and GMs (Might be just GMs, not sure) have a small chance to drop recipes from pool C/D, which is the taskforce/trial recipes.

I'm late to the party as always, but both of you are absolutely hilarious. *silently hopes none of his arcs show up in this thread*

Hence my idea of additional badges for playing one character a lot, for those who don't make a lot of alts. Though maybe the numbers could be lowered - make it 4, 8 and 12, so that all three are doable on a single server without buying extra slots.
Still, I have to wonder. If you chose to not run TFs, not do PvP, not do any number of any other things I could name that give badges, would you ask for those badges to be removed too? -
I like this idea. I'd get all three on the first login after they came out
Edit: perhaps an additional three badges for playing one character a lot? Seems fair. -

I really just wish some of my really not prissy girly characters could sit with a leg up in a somewhat natural flop onto a couch/chair...
[/ QUOTE ]
One of the ledge sit emotes does something like that, I think.
Still wish they'd give females all the emotes males have though, really sucks for those of us who play female characters. -

Their Burning Aura grants Defense(instead of resistance) to various damage types
[/ QUOTE ]
It might be worth noting here that the existing Fiery Aura defensive set grants resistance. Of course, Energy Aura gives defense while PBs have resist so meh. -

Rocket boots =/= Jet Wings. They're neat, for characters who are of a wingless bent, but for winged ones, fixed-wing jet would be best.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes but rocket boots would still provide the necessary propulsion to keep a character with fixed wings in the air, which was the point I was making.
Still, nowhere near as awesome as having wings with engines built in. -
[ QUOTE ]
In reality, if the wings don't flap, you probably need a jet engine in order to take off. You can glide after the take-off, I think. Maybe physics doesn't matter in a game.
[/ QUOTE ]
Rocket boots. Alternatively, anti-gravity generator. Or any number of similarly hightech concepts. -
The snipe fails in such situations because the constantly refreshing suppression field debuff interrupts it, fyi.
-
Probably. Another reason I'm never ever going anywhere near Canada if I can avoid it.
And yes, my aim is awesomely kickass. Full tray of yellow insps plus buildup will do that. -
[ QUOTE ]
Actually, yes it does mean exactly that.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, it means ours suck less than his, but not any less than they do. Ours do not suddenly become warmer than they would otherwise be simply because his are colder.
And Chameleon, if you laugh at me I'll shove a Warburg nuke up your nose. -
Hey, I can complain all I like even though your winters suck more than ours. Doesn't mean ours suck any less.

[ QUOTE ]
I'm not looking forward to reading in metric, or u's in my colors.
[/ QUOTE ]
I on the other hand am quite looking forward to both, since that's what we use here in New Zealand. If only to watch you all go through the same confusion I always go through trying to convert measurements. -
Put it this way, as long as they don't try to force their opinions and styles on us then we wont do likewise to them and we'll all get along fine.
Oh wait, this is the internet..... *gulp* -
I thought Protector was more writers than RPers, really.
-
(( So has everyone else abandoned this then? ))

[ QUOTE ]
"I don't think I'm allowed to come, huh?" he sadly asked no one in particular.
[/ QUOTE ]
Pax laughed and went to stand beside the kid, to be as much of a reassuring presence as she was ever likely to be. "Don't worry kid, we'll stay here with you. If that thing does anything like what we think it's going to do then we won't be allowed to go either, anyway." -
[ QUOTE ]
"We put the portal in the main hangar." the Sovereign explained curtly, and assuming there were no further interruptions would take them there to be sent back to Primal Earth...
[/ QUOTE ]
He wouldn't get any from Isabel, who'd decided to shut up since he didn't seem to be listening at all anyway. She did however have something to ask of Griffin, who she turned to as they walked along towards the portal. "What do you mean, the same?", she asked curiously.
-----------
Upon being dropped in an unceremonious heap on the group, Valerie slowly untangled herself and got up. She threw venomous looks at both the cyborg and the soldier that'd netted her before begrudgingly following along with the group. -
[ QUOTE ]
"Neither. I don't know enough about your world to be in a position to give it to you, but you need to find a third option. Your humanity will destroy itself if you let it continue as you have."
[/ QUOTE ]
Isabel nodded, she knew that already. "I know that. I'm not disagreeing with you, just saying you'd probably be better off leaving us to find said third option on our own rather than stepping in and imposing yours on us. All that'd get you would be an interdimensional war. One both sides would probably lose, considering the amounts of power likely to be thrown around in such a situation." With that, she made to follow the man, as she'd been doing all this time except for when he felt the need to stop to talk - apparently walking and talking at the same time wasn't within his capabilities.
-------------
[ QUOTE ]
She looked groggily to the human woman, complaining grumpily, "Was that really necessary?"
[/ QUOTE ]
"Yes, it was. Very", Valerie replied. "And I could ask the same of you regarding this net, I'd already surrendered and all." -
[ QUOTE ]
"Which is why from our point of view, your world is very messed-up."
[/ QUOTE ]
"No, I assure you it's very messed up from our point of view too", Isabel shot back, somewhat offended by the implication that she didn't care about the state of her world. "Thing is, Zeo there has a very valid point. Trying to forcibly impose control on humans, powers or not, will never work. They're simply too independent for it. The only kind of rule the majority will accept is one that the majority supports - your basic democracy, pretty much. And even then it's not perfect, you get all kinds of nutjobs saying their way is better, etc etc."
"But trying to go the other way, as you have here, doesn't fare any better. The last time someone tried it, the whole planet went to war. Well, almost the whole planet. Everyone with the resources to do it, at least. So tell me, what's better? An at times very dubious peace, or another world war?"
[ QUOTE ]
"I'd like to get back to not conquering your world for its own good. Or do I need to kick you through the portal myself? Because I will..."
[/ QUOTE ]
"Good. As long as it stays as not conquering, we'll have no further problems with you. I can't speak for everyone though. Just one request. If someone from our world does attack you for whatever stupid reason, just take vengeance on the ones responsible rather than the whole world ok? Rikti did that with Nemesis, and look where that got us."
-----------------
[ QUOTE ]
"Don't even try it." the vehicle's speaker system conveyed with a dry, volumous tone, "Put down your weapon and you will not be harmed."
[/ QUOTE ]
Of course. It never was that easy. "Fine", Valerie practically spat, slowly lowering her weapon to the ground and obviously not happy about being forced to do so. Where did they pull these tanks and choppers from, she wondered, every single time there was the slightest disturbance. They just seemed to appear out of nowhere.
Idly, she had to wonder what she'd done to deserve such a thing anyway. She'd been half expecting the cyborg to just shoot her in the back and be done with it as she tried to run.
