Uhm how is /Rad squishy? /kin I can understand, but Rad... seriously?
  2. I really can understand the OP. I tend to respec often, because I want to try out different things or powers that are not often used. I am playing since launch so I have a lot of respecs and don't have to worry about it. I do use Mids a lot, but nothing beats the real experience in trying out powers.

Expample: I am currently leveling a beam rilfe/time corruptor. I skipped the snipe, because I usually do, but I so want to know how it looks and sounds. But even me with all the respecs I got, don't want to waste one (in fact 2) just for that. And I am a very fast on the fly respecer. I just make a screenshot of my enhancement screen and then go, so it's not that I am afraid of respecing like some people are. I don't think it's a pain.

Well I could also install the test Server AGAIN

Might be worth on a controller, nur really sure it is on a Corruptor. I going to slot it for dmg procs on my elec/time troller but not on my Beam Rifle/time Corruptor.
  4. @Adamant
Actually Lancer Shot is more like Cosmic Burst. I think it's not quiet the same dmg as Blaze.

The key thing for me is that travel in CoH is fun, and it has a great sense of speed to it. I rarely find myself doing the anxious foot tap of not being where I want. In fact, I frequently find myself just wandering around to see where I end up. It's like Crackdown, but without the suck.
Well I must admit that my first MMO was EQ1 and there everything was a timesink, but especially travel. You had to wait for the boad (around 20 mins) then actually use it and travel to the next continent... and so on.
  6. Wow quickfire you're the only person I ever heard to say that travel is a timesink in this game. Made my laugh... sorry no offense.

That is actually a very clever use of Sonic Repulsion!

When I have to pick a secondary in order to *regain* some control (Trick Arrow, with a decent AOE soft control, immob, a hold to stack, etc.) there's something wrong.
The AoE hold isn't any more useless than any other AoE hold.
    LocalMan where are you?

Unsure, but wasn't there something in the patch notes that you don't have to be on the ground anymore for earth powers to work?
  10. Thank you! Really appreciate it and have a nice vacation.

  12. First welcome to City of Heroes. I hope you enjoy it.
And kudos to you that you come to the forums and ask for advice.

In your particular case I would say that there is no AT needed (even if some noobs claim they "need" a healer or they "need" a tank). In fact debuff is king or dps is king.... everything can work out in this game. Flexibility is what comes to my mind.

Of course some would say that you need debuffs for certain Arch Villains, but I saw all Scrapper Teams kill them evenly fast if not faster without debuffs, same goes for every "All-insert specific AT-here"-Teams.
  13. Doubt the OP is going to answer

Oh and I envision a world where people on the forums that posted nerdrage-filled rants will come back to their own threads, apologize or thanks for the help
  15. Agree with the OP. This needs to be fixed!

I still hate it that we get actually weaker when we level up. Yeah I know this isn't a big issue with IOs around anymore, but still.

This. There is a reason why I still play CoH but not EQ1 ;p

Yeah but what it is supposed to mean? Leichendiener is not an actual german word that does exist. In fact it's just 2 separate words stuck together and now they don't make much sense.

Another thing it could mean would be Leichengräber or Totengräber. Not sure what they wanted it to be though.

Anyway, does this mean I'll actually have a server called Zukunft on my list? If so, that is just awesome. I'd be almost tempted to transfer my character Leichendiener over there... Though it might be taken now that I think of it.
Doubt its taken, since that is a really ood word. I think you meant something else? Because Leichendiener is weird. Sevant of corpses....wth?

    I prefer italian food

Same here, would have made it alive but not fast. If you played games like Everquest for years you know how to get arround without getting aggro
