Anyone up for running it tonight? I would be willing to lend a hand though I only have an NRG Blaster that would be up for the job

I am rather happy with my final build and my Nrg/Elc/Force. It is no way amazing and it has plenty of flaws but I am happy.

In it I have it off the top of my head 5 slotted with Exp blast and 5 slotted with Rep Bomb, which if you cast Rep Bomb and then Exp Blast they almost appear to hit at the same moment which is very fun and handy.

I do have Power Push 3 slotted with a KB set and have my Energy Torrent I think slotted with dmg.

I would be very happy to post the build once I get out of work, prehaps you could give me some idea's on how to tweak it more?

Anyone out there willing to post a few differnt builds?

Thank you all for these posts, I am about to hit 26 and get my lich! hopefully tonight as I am just 5 bubbles away.

IF anyone would not mind could you post a few builds here just so I can get some more idea's, yes the guides are great but for the Necro/Dark they had not got to 50 yet and I am very curious if their thoughts had changed.

I love seeing the guides and the reasons from vets and how many are slightly differnt depending on play styles! this thread is a great help (am glad the op started this thread)

I would really like to know as well. I am closing in on lvl 26 with a Necro/dark and am curious others thoughts on powers and such.

as to the OP I will say our power choices are a bit exact from what you picked and skipped to my build. I also took leadership as I do quiet a bit of teaming and was hoping to give a bit of extra help to my pets and the team. I did a search on Necro/Dark builds but had not seen anything recently and back in like 08 there were quiet a few posts saying not to take leadership

My first and by far my favorate toon is an Energy/Elec/Force whom I have had for a year. There were some growing pains and learning with him but by far he is a bit of a powerhouse. ( I am I would say 85%+ Ranged most of the time but it is sooo nice to have melee AOE just in case and shocking grasp has snuffed out many villians lives)

Nothing more of an amazing feeling then hitting up a Nova then popping a blue and then Power Sink to get right back into the battle.
The Elec/Melee secondaries are great for finishing off the weakened mobs that do not get knocked back in your inital attack (Which is rare) and well I love hitting up Repulsive blast and the TAOE NRG Blast as if you do them in that order they seem to hit at almost the exact same moment.. All and all Elec seems to compliment nrg rather well, and force really compliments them both together..

THOUGH I kind of wish I had done Mental to be honest!~ I just rolled a Sonic/Mental and am having a blast I may try and make a Energy Sonic before double XP weekend.

I have always had idea's of wanting to roll an Energy/Device Blaster as well for pure range. All three ideas are great suggestions for you.

So I made my new toon Sonic/MM last night and played with a friend and my wife and I will say in the early levels it is a very very fun build!

I have been playing for almost a year, and have not made toooooo many toons. My fav always has been an Energy/Elec and after much thinking lately I wish I had made him Energy/MM and I was about to re-roll BUT all the badges, time and history and I just can not delete my primary toon (whom was also the first toon I have roll'd)

SOOO I was thinking of something new to do and I was thinking Sonic/Energy or Rad/Energy and then it hit me, why not Sonic/MM???

So what are the Perks, what are the draw backs, and well what works?

Primary play style is Ranged.

Myself and two very close friends of mine RP on Vic, and I just started to rp a bit with Novamaiden up there. soo there are a few of us
