if they attach the sound on the weapon of choice, then i don't think it's THAT difficult.
[/ QUOTE ]
At the moment the sound's part of the power animation, while what gets drawn for the weapon's part of the costume.

saying that, it makes me think how it would sound if leather clothing would sound(or latex)

Sounds like there are some synching issues going on...

You mean the Rikti suffer from not Server Synching properly too? -

World Server PvP would be the best thing imo, along with ironing out the balance flaws.

At the risk of being tarred and feathered, I am going to say this:
PvP should be like WoW PvP. -

You're doing it wrong. Unless you're preparing for a really tough fight, you can just summon and buff on the move.

Max has it right... again... Do it on the fly.... bigguns first. My zombies fall over so often I don't see much point in upgrading them at all.

you want people to pvp and when they state something you dont agree on. you tell em to go [censored] them selfs and then wonder why some people dont pvp?

TO GET MORE PEOPLE TO PVP YOU NEED TO APPEAL TO THOSE THAT DONT DO IT, NOT THOSE THAT DO!!!
[/ QUOTE ]
You need to appeal to everyone. Not specific groups.
Everyone should comment on it, whether they PvP or not. Comment as in constructive. Why? because everyone has access to it, whether they want it or not. Except the trial players, they can go rot. Or buy the game.
[/ QUOTE ]
How can you appeal to everyone though? You can aim it everyone, but it won't appeal to everyone though. Some people just avoid PvP regardless. Also, in this day and age, you need to have a PvP Build in order to PvP and some people, like myself, aren't willing to have them as they prefer PvE.

Zones are meant to have something to play for and when you win the zone AVs/Heroes come and help to turn the tide against your favour to balance things.

Sorry, but i think bringing that to board, however it is your opinion, is slightly offensive and is blowing it out of porpotion.

This is because you can easily meet the person you want to start a conversation with under the Atlas Statue and chat in local chat instead of spamming broadcast with a load s*** the majority of people couldn't care less about.
Debt doubled? Triple it please.
"Hai! Thts mai hevy!" - You are a noob. Back away slowly.
Now... farming. It bothers me yet, at the same time, it doesn't. What annoys me is the way the Devs go about nerfing things when something like, oh I don't know, a level restriction could have been placed on Peregrine Island instead of nerfing the mission for the majority of players who didn't farm it. -

Invincibility is a toggle. Why would it need to be perma? -
A good idea Mother, but I decide on powers first and then make a bio around the powers. I can give you some details though.
Radiation Emission isn't radiation. I am thinking of it as powerful magic. The same goes for Storm Summoning, except on a more offensive level.
I haven't actually written a bio yet, come to think of it.
EDIT: Not that help with fitting the powers into a bio isn't welcome, I am more looking for help with the powers, how to slot them, what to take and how to make PA perma, etc. -
Hey guys, gals and other worldly creatures.
I've always wanted an Illusion Controller. The Phantom Army looks so cool and I've finally managed to think of a concept, but I cannot decide on a Secondary: Storm Summoning or Radiation Emission.
Storm Summoning would add that Chaos-Controller feel and overall fits the concept well (A Mage). Due to Hurricane and its nice ToHit Debuff and Knockback effects, I am assuming it would make soloing doable, especially with the Snow Storm + Freezing Rain combination.
Radiation Emission has awesome Debuffs that are sure to make soloing easy and make me an asset to teams. For anyone wondering how Radiation Emission would fit a Mage concept, just think of them as powerful spells.
Could anyone shed some light? I am not experienced with either Set, but they both seem pretty good. Also, judging by these videos of a Storm Controller and a Radiation Emission Controller, I'd be able to, hopefully, solo a few Archvillains here and there and do some PvP. I'll admit I am more into being able to solo Archvillains/Elite Bosses as it's something I've always wanted to do (Not that I havent soloed Elite Bosses before).
Any help would be much obliged.
Rapthorn.
P.S. Here's a sample build I made. Tear it to pieces and tell me how wrong I am please.
I'm also a complete noob when it comes to IO Sets so I threw in what I thought was ok.

but its not the same exposure as a US poster can get towards the Devs. Users can even send PMs to Castle et al.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, you can say that again. Back Alley Brawler introduced himself over here and we haven't heard from him since. I bet his account is gathering dust. I think more of the Devs should post over here and actually read our forums so we don't feel ignored. -
[ QUOTE ]
Just forget debt, it's been nerfed into oblivion.
[/ QUOTE ]
Reminds me of the old days of yore when people feared dieing and debt was a menace to behold. They should SO put it back to the way it used to be. And I mean, how it originally used to be.
I just hit Threat Level 10! Oh noes! I can incur debt now! cries Rapthorn.
Several minutes later...
Hey! Hero! Prepare to die! bellows Rapthorn.
Rapthorn charges the Lv10 Boss staring at him...
Gyaaaaa! My head! screams Rapthorn.
Faceplanting follows...
Oh noes! I have 1000 debt at Level 10! Now Ill never get to Threat Level 11! wails Rapthorn.
*sighs as a bit of drool hits the floor*
Oh! This thread is about Light Form. Ahem... yes, its an awesome power even though I have never taken it. Enjoy! -
I played a Bane Spider and he was cool, however, I have to agree with what some people have said above: they can't solo very well. Thing is, the Devs want us to group, but they have to bear in mind that not everyone wants to team. I think they realised that when they f**ked up HEATs. Overall, I think the VEATs should have the Leadership: <insert training of some form here> replaced with other powers so that VEATs arent as team-dependent and if I wanted Leadership Powers, they're available at Lv6 anyway. I think its a poor job IMO, porting over powers like that. It's a Pool Power. It should stay a Pool Power.
That's my two cents. -
Not thread stealing here, but since we're on the subject of VEAT costume pieces, why don't Widows have the hipcape and widow heels?
-
Hello members of the Forums.
I want to make a Peacebringer but... uhh... I'm having a little trouble planning one so I thought I'd ask you lovely, knowledgeable people.
My Search-Fu isn't all it's cracked up to be so if anyone can:
[*]Make me a Build (No IO Sets, just normal IOs or SOs) for a Tri-Form and Human/Dwarf Form Peacebringer; I shall worship the ground you walk on like the Adoring Fan from The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
[*]Find me a guide on how to make a good Tri-Form or Human/Dwarf Form Peacebringer.
This would be very much appreciated.
Thanks! -
That's cool.
I really need to learn how people do things like that on their computers. There are so many things I want to make. -
[ QUOTE ]
Summoning him supposedly requires no more effort than defeating 100 or more Nerva Spectral Daemons in Nerva Archipelago whilst the sun is up and before it sets.
[/ QUOTE ]
You have twenty minutes to go and smack his minions around. The joys of jumping from one place to another only to find the little buggers haven't respawned yet. -
Dominators get Control Power Sets too. It's a Villain Power Set. It's evil compared to other Hero Control Power Sets.

The only thing Ghost Widow-ish about this set is the move, Soul Hurricane, which is a mimic of her version of Soul Storm. All her other moves are Dark Blast, Dark Miasma and Dark Armor.
So how is it like Ghost Widow again?
[/ QUOTE ] because, you see, some people have to work up to lvl 47 for that soul storm power, feel a sense of accomplishment, and then its suddenly released as a lvl 20 power? i do not see the fairness in that.
[/ QUOTE ]
And some people don't see the fairness in the crappy Patron Power Pools Villains get, but people live with it.
Also, Char, Dominate, Block of Ice and Fossilize are all Epic Power Pools, yet they're also on Controllers at Lv1. -
ReclusesPhantom... he's behind you!
[i]*points, screams and runs as an eight-legged shadow appears behind ReclusesPhantom!*
-
So, she is a Mercs Mastermind, right? I am guessing.
Pretty good read. I enjoyed it. I thought it was funny when the "Prophet" suddenly burst through the wall.
