Then we must move it back on topic
What one thing would you change about the game?

If people don't have more than one alt that isn't parked in Outbreak and is over Level 30, their accounts are effectively and immediately shut down.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd make an alt and park it in Outbreak
[/ QUOTE ]
don't worry GG, there would be no new accounts as anyone who makes one gets immediate shut down
so the game would suffer, and we'd all get our accounts shut down one way or another

The leveling curve - it's ridiculously easy to get to Level 50 these days, so badly, that you outlevel content. What's the point in having content if you just outlevel it?
[/ QUOTE ]
it's so bad that i'm still not over the lvl 30....sigh

Stop making alts then. -
A Mage Power Set. Instead of being a Pure Fire Mage (Fire Blaster), why not give those who want to have Mage concepts the ability to have some variety.
More telekinetic powers like force blasts or Jean Grey's Ultra Super Over-Powered Disintegration technique. -
What's a D3 Defender?
I found soloing on my Kin/Psy Defender quite alright. It was fun and sometimes slow, but I enjoyed it and could do so with ease. -

Deceive
Ahhh this one. Well this is really personal opnion. If you a CoX version of Jedi Mind Trick, this is it. It allows them to attack other enemies, which is useful for getting Minions and stuff to attack AVs. Unfortunately, Bosses+ won't get the effect, so Minions and Lts you can only use it on. Also, you won't get any XP for a enemy defeated using Deceive, so don't do it when a AVs on low health! Overall, it's personal opnion. Some think it's a waste of time. Well personally it will be useful in low levels but high levels you'll leave it out. I took it and used it in low levels, I don't use it any more, but it's still on my build for fun if I want to deceive a Hellion.
Rating: 3/5
[/ QUOTE ]
Completely and utterly wrong. An enemy defeated by a deceived mob plus you will give you quite a lot of the XP. I suggest you read up on it before posting incorrect information about it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Last I heard, Deceive was stackable on Bosses. The line about Bosses not being able to be Deceived... is a lie. Even Elite Bosses can be Deceived with enough applications.
Maybe Guide Writing just isn't your thing... -

Yes it is a FORM of world PvP. you cant integrate the two communities and not expect some form of conflict (conflict between two playable character by definition = PvP).
[/ QUOTE ]
Thing is, the PvE majority outnumber the PvP minority. Another reason why I can't see such a thing happening. Not enough people PvP for the Devs to make this game World PvPish.
Oh, and when people do actually make threats that they'll quit the game, they're usually empty threats. -
[ QUOTE ]
[PvP in paragon can only be initiated by heroes and pvp in rogue isles can onyl be initiated by villains for example.
[/ QUOTE ]
Still the issue of ganking and hospital camping. Also, it's still a form of World PvP. Judging by Vox_Doom's reaction, a large number of people wouldn't like that. -

I don't find that funny. It just doesn't beat the original thing, not by a long shot. -

According to Samuraikos video, and she got her info directly from devs, didn't Statesman and Lord Recluse open pandoras box to get their powers?
Or did i understand it wrongly.
[/ QUOTE ]
It depends on whether the "Web of Arachnos" novel is being considered canonical by the Devs these days. In the novel Marcus Cole and Stefan Richter found a pool at the bottom of the Well of the Furies, fed by water pouring from the Fountain of Zeus. They drank the water, beginning their transformation into incarnates.
When they looked behind the Fountain they found what was "tainting" the water, a leakage of power from a box which was written ambiguously to appear as technological/scientific to Richter and magical to Cole (starting their major disagreement/rift). Curious, they opened the box, realising it was Pandora's Box as it released superpowers back into the world, which had been building up inside the box since the first age of heroes (i.e. the Greco-Roman era that Cimerora is at the tail-end of). Then the Well started collapsing, Richter was washed out to sea and Cole had to dig his own way out. The appearance of mutation origin individuals in the world coincides with the box being opened (I think Sister Psyche was supposedly born then, for instance).
[/ QUOTE ]
Correct me if I am wrong, but having read the Web of Arachnos and thinking about some of the NPCs ingame today (One Lady Grey for example), I personally think there were superpowers in the world before Statesman and Recluse opened Pandora's Box purely because of:
[*]Lady Grey's ingame bio. [ QUOTE ]
Ever composed, ever mysterious, the powerful and otherworldly Lady Grey is rumored to be older than Statesman
[/ QUOTE ]
[*]The Dark Watcher's origin is Magical. He'd been in touch with Tibetan Monks who were expert sorcerers. On the night States and Lord R. opened the box, the DW was able to properly use his powers. However, the monks in Tibet wouldn't just magically receive their powers then, at the exact same moment as well, would they? -

anyway, not 100% thought out but thats the one thing I would chance. If you want PvP , its there, all the time, if you dont, play somewhere safer , option is there. if you want danger but not always PvP, play a villain in the city tryign to keep a low profile until you are powerful enough to do something about it.
[/ QUOTE ]
So what you're basically suggesting is... World PvP. Yeah, that'd be the death of this game. -

Hurl - put the old animation back. The new one sucks.

Oh you monster. *drops the new hurl on your foot*
Now if I had used the old one it would have felt like a pebble.

Teeheeheehee!
Sorry, but I think it looks so stupid. The other, more slower, animation looked well better. A crack in the ground doesn't even appear in this one so it makes you wonder where the hell that big boulder came from.
[/ QUOTE ]
True but darnit... I feel more super throwing the new huge rock.
[/ QUOTE ]
Have to agree with you on that. The other was a pebble. They could've just made the pebble into a rock. They didn't have to speed it up AND remove the crack in the ground too. -

PvP: in paragon as an example: A villain pulls off a robbery, police witness this and give chase, a radio alert is automatically calle din and a warrant put out for the villains arrest making him a legitimate PvP target for 15 minutes, after this time, the character returns to normal, non-pvp status.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah... the word ganking comes to mind. What would be the point? Also, if the target becomes a target for other players to attack, surely said target is able to target other players as well to defend him/her self. Basically, Level 50 Villain robs Atlas Park's bank and then starts killing all the lowbie Heroes who have just come out of the Tutorial... anyone see my problem here? -

Try a Kinetics / Psychic Blast Defender. Psychic Blast is hardly resisted (Bare in mind, you are playing a Defender) and Kinetics has a heal and some really nice buffs and debuffs. It's also a very good PvP combo.

I don't see the problem with farming
[/ QUOTE ]
The problem is that when people farm, the Devs don't like it so they take the mission the Farmers are farming and nerf it which then pisses off everyone who doesn't farm. -
[ QUOTE ]
I'd like to see more animnated features for our avatars - like hair and faces
[/ QUOTE ]
The reason why? It would only cause framerate issues. -
The leveling curve - it's ridiculously easy to get to Level 50 these days, so badly, that you outlevel content. What's the point in having content if you just outlevel it?
Debt - put it back to the way it used to be. And I mean the old, OLD debt where if you died, it took ages to get rid of.
Giant Monsters - the old XP they used to give. No one does them these days, I hardly see any use for them other than to make people think "I remember when people used to flock to fight <insert GM here>".
Stupid nerfs and silly things implemented when another more reasonable solution was to be had - e.g. nerfing the Family. That affected everyone, not just the farmers. Instead, why not just put a Level 40 restriction on PI? That would've solved the Family issue and much more. I am not too bothered about that specific example, but its a damn good one.
Thought Id start off negatively.
EDIT: Since your post just says "No talk about the removal of PvP", I'd like to add this. No nerfs to PvE just for PvP purposes when the PvE majority largely outnumber the PvP minority. This is my opinion though.
Tar and feather me. -

To stop Infamy/Influence spamming from companies which the game forbids, maybe? Just a thought. They aren't actually going to pay to be banned now are they?
