after the failure of Coralax becoming a VEAT.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I feel your pain too.

You've inspired me to do a Coralax-based Set now!

Also, the Aquatic Control Set needs to be more... controlling. Less damage.
  2. Thought I'd throw in my own suggestion.

    1. Phalanx Fighting Auto: Self +Def 7.5% (Smashing/Lethal)
    2. Physical Defence Shield Toggle: Self +Def 15% (Smashing, Lethal), +Res 17.3% (DeBuff Def)
    3. Power Defence Shield Toggle: Self +Def 15% (Energy, Negative, Fire, Cold, Toxic), +Res 17.3% (DeBuff Def)
    4. Shield Defence Toggle: Self +Def 5% (All but Psionics), +Res -10 Magnitude (Knockback, Stun, Immobilize, Hold, Sleep)
    5. Shield Throw Ranged, Moderate damage (Smashing), Foe: Stun (Mag 2). Recharge: 6 Seconds.
    6. Shield Smash Melee, Moderate damage (Smashing), Foe: Stun (Mag 2). Recharge: 6 Seconds.
    7. Shield Parry Toggle: Self +Def 20% (Melee, Ranged, AoE)
    8. Impervious Shield Click, Self +Invulnerable, +Regeneration, +Recovery, unable to move. Recharge: 240 Seconds.
    9. Push Back Melee, Extreme damage (Smashing), Foe: High Knockback. Recharge: 25 Seconds.

Hope you like it. Feel free to critique.

EDIT: Added the second "i" to critique.
EDIT 2: Added Mag 2 to Shield Throw and Shield Smash.
  3. I think it's too team orientated especially for a Scrapper Power Set. No offence PRAF68, but this wouldn't interest me in the slightest if it was released onto the Live Servers.

EDIT: Sorry! I re-read my post and it sounds like I am coming across really harshly! I do not mean it nastily!

Oh you'll be getting debt alright.
  5. LMAO Damzy!

I am well up for that!

If you can dodge a laser, you can dodge a ball.
  8. I am like Scarlet_Shocker on the matter. I do agree and I don't. I mainly blame the fact that it's raining heavily and it's put a dampner on my mood.

But the site hasn't been updated in ages! The news gets added, but what about the Powers Glossary? Is that a long and distant abondoned idea? I thought it was great! And the CoX Vault? Not heard of that in ages either! Also, remove the old Fansites that aren't active anymore. I am tempted to make my own now. It'd be a sort of paragonwiki.com type-thing. Ah well. Still blame the rain. Bloody rain...

This is where the attitude problem lies

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah well in my world the Joker would be very, very dead. Notice how my world is better off than yours. About a four figure kill count better off.

    [/ QUOTE ]

But would you rather be in a world where you think life is good and the Joker is alive, or be in a world where life is pants and the Joker is dead?

BAB (the character) being responsible for the Superadine trade, whilst publicly taking it down

    [/ QUOTE ]

He isn't. Well... according to Paragonwiki.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Erm... you do know that the whole point of doing something secret kind of compels you not to publish your nefarious activities on a wiki, right?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Maybe you're getting him confused with his Praetorian counterpart?

The advice offered by Lighthouse is pretty much what you would have gotten here anyway

    [/ QUOTE ]

Maybe that's why you didn't get a response, Sal? GR knew you'd already read what Lighthouse had said so it would've been pointless recycling the same bit of information.

And if you're going to be a jerk towards him, it's no surprise he hasn't replied to your whinging, is it?

heh, with this natural discussion going on, that way you would thin COX is half DBZ, but then with a dozen of krillin and yamcha clones

Apart from the fact that Goku et co. are aliens...
  15. Frankenslotting has its uses as does Set Slotting. I think I'll do a mix of both.

Lord Recluse doesn't drink tea Damz. He drinks coffee - a villain's drink.

    [/ QUOTE ]

A lot of villains vary in nationality - so many different drinks are considered the true villain drink in many cultures

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's a stereotype. I also fixed your post for truth.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Thanks

    Fixed again.

Should put an end to your childish endeavours.

I'd love to mate, but I have to be at college for ten o'clock - first day back and all - so I am going to bed. I'm quite nervous. I won't know anyone in my tutor or on the course I'm doing.

Most fictional villains are American - so happy juice is the true American villains drink

How does Uri Geller bend spoons?

    [/ QUOTE ]
By bending it with hands... He is 100% Natural.

    [/ QUOTE ]

How does he do it? Psychic powers of course.
  22. How does she harness it though? To willingly control electricity can be a number of things. I fail to see how it can be Natural... unless you're an alien.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
It's easy enough to be a natural origin controller, so long as you are not human. But if you go by the in game origin descriptions, there isn't anything that fits the "ordinary human driven to be a hero (villain)" idea for controllers (dominators). All the other non-epic ATs have powersets that suit this kind of character.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Natural Mind Controller. Natural Origin is defined as also training yourself to an extreme. One could train their mind so much that they start to exhibit psychic powers.

There you go. A Natural Origin Controller.

    F-f-f-frankenslotting?

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Oooops!

Details here - it's even easier, really...set IOs without paying attention to the sets.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Aye, its basically slotting for the best enhancement values for the number of slots you have and ignoring sets for the most part (you might go for a 2 set bonus).

Like slotting an AOE Hold with 1 Acc/Hold/Recharge from each hold set, for example, to get about a 75% bonus to Acc, Hold and Recharge in only 4 slots beating what 6 slotting with SOs will get you.

Very, very useful for tight slotted builds like Kheldians, Doms etc.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I've just looked at that on Mids'. That's really good. Makes IO Set Bonuses seem a bit meh unless they're actually boosting a particular stat that you want boosting.
