Here's what I'd like to see VIPs be able to purchase:Those annoying Facebook/Twitter give away emotes, costume pieces etc. Maybe something as a perk for a 6+ month sub package.
All marketing is trying to do is pad their facebook/twitter account "numbers" by getting those of us who've bought into the game to go play in the social networking arena. They're already preaching to the choir. Go sell the game to someone who's not subbed, or not playing the game already.
As someone who isn't a fan of either Facebook and Twitter for various reasons, including security issues on their part, I will never be participating in those giveaways. Give me another venue to get them. -
Interesting Necropost. If you're Tier 9 on the rewards program you can use Tokens to get boosters that way as well.
(And I had to fix my initial response as I read yours incorrectly.. my bad. ) -
I believe Gloom is also nice on tanks. I haven't fit it on any of mine yet.
Looked at your build. Made some changes that you may, or may not like. Gives you better run speed. (boosting the two run speed IO in the process as well) You gain a little more on +recharge. You don't loose perma EE. You gain a little more defense, while loosing a touch on the resistances. It isn't cheap.
Take a look and see what you think.

Congrats. Hope you continue to enjoy your Dark tank.
They are fun. -
Sands of Moo and Seawall were some of my most recent name acquisitions. Very surprised to get both on Justice. Oh, and Stick in the Mud.
-
The free-specs that are given out by the devs at issue releases, etc, don't stack. It's pretty much a use or it will get replaced, anytime another free-spec is given out. You'll still have to see the Respec contact to use your vet/earned ones.

While I have flight on several of my tanks to deal with vertical movement, that doesn't mean I'm limited when I don't. At my disposal I have the Jump Pack Power from the Good vs. Evil edition, the Steam Jump from the Steampunk pack and I will also acquire the Raptor/Jet pack through one of the various means.
To get around some of the limitations of Grounded I typically put one -kb IO somewhere in the build for those occasions when I jump or hop in the middle of a fight. (While it isn't necessary to do that, it is my preference.) -
Absolutely. My Dark/Dark tanks runs it constantly. It's great for getting from mob to mob quickly. It's great for speed runs. It's great for "tanker stealthing" to the end. What's not to like about it?

As much as we would like to attend, we won't be available. Unfortunately we will be attending funeral services for one of our neighbors who also passed away last weekend. Our thoughts go out to Lucas' family and friends.

There are no such things as Rangle Plots™.
-
Another thought:
Someone posts an idea for a new power set, followed by someone calling the idea overpowered and a second person calling it underpowered.
-
I'm wondering if this should have also been included in the rules:
Anytime Zwillinger posts a meme picture.
-
Should these be added as well?
Complains that the Free2Play model is just a money grab and is ripping off the VIP players.
Complains that they're not getting enough stuff for free as a Premium Player.
Infers or states that their suggested changes to the game would be/should be "easy".
(bonus drink if someone invokes the Standard Code Rant)
(bonus drink if Arcanaville adds a post that's under 50 characters long, or within 100 characters of the post limit)
Makes a thread requesting a power set/AT respec within one month of the previous thread requesting one.
(Bonus drink if the previous thread is still on page one of the suggestions forum,) -
I don't recall this being mentioned in the thread already, so forgive me if I repeat something someone else has already mentioned. A few months ago I was discussing the gauntlet bug with NuclearMedicine (aka @Warboss). He made a comment that I'd meant to pass along. Since gauntlet is already making to hit-rolls in the background (and messing up our attack to-hit rolls as well) why not add a damage component to gauntlet and call it good.

Quote:I know what kind of thread this is, hence the hip waders. You can't even feign that that's constructive. I mean, cheap insults now? What kind of a thread do you think this is? It's like a slap in the face to the other people who know what they are doing.
Geez.
I'd apologize to the others in the thread for the "proverbial" slap in the face, but what's constructive about that? -
Really? [Redacted] has posted more concise and coherent posts then this, and that's saying something! You make Jar Jar Binks sound like Winston Churchill compared to this drivel.
-
True, but the joke is more fun.

You can purchase a 30 day invention system license for 160 points I believe. That's the equivalent of approximately $2/month.
For a permanent unlock you would need to fill in tier 7 of the paragon reward tree, which is lot more expensive.
Should you decide to subscribe, the license is free as long as you're subbed. -
Since when did they add Invisibility as a new Tank primary?
You should read Call Me Awesome's two Invulnerability Tank Guides.
Invulnerability tankers, and the first 20 levels.
Invulnerability Tankers and the Defense Soft cap. -
No argument here. I've never made a tank without a taunt aura. I find mentioning how much damage those aura's can add, tends to entice people more often into getting them. (Which is why I mention it. )

As an FYI, for whatever reason the forums will mess up the data link if you preview your post, or if you go back and edit your post.

Part of the reason I went with Ice Mastery on the build I showed you, was to provide more AoE damage. The recharge on Soul Drain and Ice Storm are fairly close. If I can saturate SD, Ice Storm will do fairly decent damage.
