This is the current LIVE build of my dark/dark tank. I still haven't gotten around to repsecing for i19 yet. I keep changing my mind on what epic I'm going to take for her. (It's a toss up between Earth Mastery/Mu Mastery and possibly Energy Mastery) Eventually I'll get around to finish IOing the tank, but here's something to look at in the meantime for comparison.

First of all, howdy Jebe. Long time no see in the tank forums.
Looking at your build Fireheart, a few things jump out at me. One, I suspect you'll be hurting for endurance with this build. I try and shoot for a 2 end/sec difference between end usage and end recovery and you're nowhere near that. Two, you really don't have as much recharge in this build as you could get just by grabbing hasten. I'd lose Tactics for Hasten.
Personally I don't worry so much about +hp on a Dark Tank. Having an amazing heal in Dark Regen makes up for that need quite easily.
I've made some changes to your build that will help a bit in the end usage vs. recovery. It does include the +end accolades as well. The Imperviums weren't cheap the last time I looked. And, should you choose to, you can change out the Smashing Haymakers for Kin Combats later for more s/l defense.
This probably wouldn't be a build I'd use, but I think it's still close enough to what you want. Take a look and see. My builds are closer to what Jebe's got in his tanker guide then what you've got going on.

I don't know how difficult it would be, but I was always surprised that they hadn't made a jump height hardcap as part of being in Granite.

As Nuclear Medicine mentioned, this Tuesday, Dec. 28th there will be another Tanker Tuesday event on Infinity. As always we'll meet in Kings Row at the IP gate at 6pm pacific/9pm eastern. All tanks of all levels are welcome.

My wife suggested Plant/Rad controller. I'd suggest she take a look at an Archery/Trick Arrow Corruptor as well. Have you decided on a toon you want to create to pair with her?

How would you describe your wife's play style/speed?
Does she want it simple, or complicated? IE. something requiring lots of button pushes, or something that's fairly straight forward?
If she's played before, what kind of characters/ ATs has she like/hated? Is she ok with being a buff-bot or damage doer?
Does she want to go fast and loose, or methodical and paced?
Because Blasters, Controllers, Defenders, Scrappers, Stalkers, Khelds, Corruptors, Doms, Widows, Spiders and Masterminds could all qualify. Heck even an off tank/brute would too, like a fire/fire tank or brute.
What does she want out of her experience playing the game? -
Specifically it looks like the Cord DO is the problem, as was mentioned in the thread Auroxis linked. Trickshooter pointed this out.
Starting with the Cord DO I saw the same results Nalrok had. Slotting the Nectanebo's Gourd and the toxic resistance numbers matched in both windows.

Both my level 32 Dark/Elec and lvl 50 Dark/Dark tanks are showing the same numbers in both their respective combat attributes window and the enhancement windows. No discrepancies.
Not sure what's going on with your numbers Nalrok.... -
Something else to look at. Variation on themes. It does include having the following accolades; Atlas Medallion, Freedom Phalanx, Task Force Commander and Portal Jockey for +hp and +end. (for details go to the wiki site: http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Main_Page )
Hopefully it will give you some ideas.

Reworked your build. Most defensive/resist powers don't need any more then 4 slots in them to be effective.
Not a fan of Maneuvers(for a tank) and/or Temperature Protection. Left you Maneuvers, dropped Temp. Protection.
You've lost a little bit of everything in this build, but you're still within a hairs breadth of the soft cap. In exchange for the changes I made; you should be able to fight longer without needing to use Consume or eating a blue. Looking at how you had your attacks (Especially Frozen Aura) slotted it looked like you'd go through a couple rounds of attacks and be hurting for endurance. I've also given a couple of your other attacks a little more rounding out, and added in Super Speed for a travel power. Nice thing about SS, it doesn't toggle off Combat Jumping.
I've also toggled on four of the Accolades that I like to get for all my characters. Atlas Medallion, Freedom Phalanx, Task Force Commander and Portal Jockey. They give permanent bonuses to HP and End totals, which in turn help your Regen and Rec.

We had a large enough turnout for 4 teams. As Nuclear mentioned, not only did we have the two TF teams and the Frostfire/Hollows team that Scat was running, but Hyperstrike was also running a lvl 35+ mission team as well.

The Citadel run was a lot of fun as well. Think we did it in 1:40 min. Was nice to pull out my fire/ss tank for the run.

Glad to see there are other manufacturers working on similar products.
A quick search seems to indicate non of those are currently available in the US, which is unfortunate. Mind you it was a quick search so I may have missed something. -
There have been occasional demos of external graphics cards for laptops, but non have yet made it to market that I'm aware of. It's highly doubtful at this juncture that you'd see one soon, if ever.

Most (but not all) better typed bonuses can be had in 3-4 slots, and most (again, not all) of the better positional bonuses can be had in 5-6 slots. So yah, positional bonuses generally take more slots.
