Not sure the reason why it's not there, but you should be able to purchase it in the store. That's were I found it earlier this week.

Apple will sue your pants off if you try and use Apple for a computer company of any sort. Apple Corps (the recording studio for The Beatles) will do so if you're in the entertainment industry in any way shape or form. Ditto for Microsoft, IBM, Cisco etc.
Try using "Bank of America", or BoA for a lender of any sort. I think we know where using the name Progressive in insurance would progress too.
McDonald's has successfully closed down restaurants that used the McDonald's name. I think only one or two were successful at keeping it as they had a longer history then "the golden arches".
Shall I mention Starbucks and what they've done to anyone who even gets close to their logo?
Nike and footwear anyone?
Adidas and clothing?
Wait! I've got the perfect hero wizard name for a story I want to write! His name is Harry Dumbledore! oh...... nvm.
Shall I name more?
Yeah, I know. This isn't real life, this is just a game. Just pointing out you'd lose this argument in real life.
Personnally, I think "inertia" will rule any naming changes in this game. The dev's have shown a huge reticence to make changes that will anger a large portion of the game population. (A recent example of this was the initial power pool changes.) So even changes that may seem beneficial, to you, will probably piss off a lot of folks. While you might not have an issue with bob@robertrobertrobert as a naming mechanic (or something similar), I know I would hate it, and so would my wife.
I'm fine with the the system as it is. Is it perfect? No. There have been times I've come up with a name I "thought" was unique, but it was taken. (Well, I guess it wasn't as unique as I thought it was.) At that point I move on and try other things. If the system allowed for multiple of the same name, I'd be getting lots of name changes for my characters as "I DON'T WANT THEM TO BE THE SAME AS ANYONE ELSES!"(at least on the same server) I like having each of my characters a "unique snowflake", even if I didn't get the name I wanted in the first place.
I also think that they, the developers, wouldn't want to be seen as copying "that other game".
Anyway, I need more popcorn. -
As someone who's a fan of the Tanker Tuesday events I wouldn't be opposed to a Statesman statue being placed at the IP gate in King's Row.
Of course I'd also be happy if they "relocated" M1's statue there as well since he does have the Tank badge in the Echo:Galaxy City. -
eh hem.
There are NO such things as Rangle Plots... -
I always thought it was more "flailing" the "failing"...

I can honestly say that I'm not watching you.
Red Gren and Warboss however...
er, I mean...
never mind. -
-
Vert Flame Guy (green flame guy)
Auburn Flame Guy
Bronx Flame Guy
Fallow Flame Guy (Fallow is a brown color)
Gold or Golden Flame Guy (not to be confused with Golden Girl)
Mighty Flame Guy
The Great Flame Guy
American Flame Guy
Flame Guy Gus
etc, etc, etc....

I'm always amused when the folks that "hate" the current system throw out, what they consider to be, the worst sounding name as an example...
Hm... moar popcorn. -
Never enough popcorn when this subject resurfaces yet again.

One thing that Synapse mentioned at the player summit: Radiation Armor and Radiation Melee were very, very popular requests. If the set get's "close to the mark" I still think a lot of people will at least try it, and hopefully enjoy it.
Seeing what Synapse and Arbiter Hawk have done in the past, I suspect it should be a well balanced and "fun" set.
Look on the bright side, if it flops you can all blame me for suggesting it at the player summit... -

A. Check out any of the previous Dark Armor threads and see what's been discussed.
B. Check out any of the previous Dark Armor Guides, including Jebe the Pirate's guide in the Tanker Guide section, and Dechs Kaison's guide in his signature.
C. Yes. It can be even more viable with IOs and proper slotting.
D. Carp
ps. the "carp" is just for laughs... -

Whether or not it was true from the outside looking in, I did try and keep my idea for Radiation Armor set "reasonable", and tried to avoid it coming across as OP. At least I hoped I did.
Considering I kept getting responses from both sides of the "it's not powerful enough/ it's overpowered" fence I think I did OK.
Be that as it may, what I had presented has little in common with what was originally designed at the player summit. I'm sure that the set has evolved/changed further since then. Presenting my idea for Radiation Armor was certainly a fun exercise at the time.
I'm still looking forward to getting my virtual hands on the set when I can. -
Two other Sets that have Ranged Toxic damage: Spines (in a limited fashion) in a PBAoE and a Cone, and the Dominator Thorny Assault set.
Thorny Assault could be a starting point for your "Biological". -
Cody Coyotl.
From the Wikipedia: The name "coyote" is borrowed from Mexican Spanish coyote, ultimately derived from the Nahuatl word cóyotl. -
Quote:You just have to remember that Warboss/NuclearMedicine has a problem...So it's going to be Wednesday this week? And now the Brutes are Thrushing instead of Thrashing?
You sure know how to keeps things confusing.
Monday (today)
Tuesday (1 day away)
Wednesday (2 days away)
Thursday (3 days away)
I don't think I need to go on. Hopefully you can figure out the rest of the days of the week on your own.
..with Words. -

Shield "seemingly losing it's popularity" can also be attributed to the last two Melee sets that have come out. Neither Titan Weapons, nor Staff can be used with Shield. The Hami fix hasn't changed my enjoyment of the Shield set.

Give Trip Mines the Stalker Assassin's Strike "fix". Maybe even the same with Time Bomb.
When you're "Cloaked" it's a longer set up that does more dmg. When you're not "Cloaked" you can drop a less damaging, faster dropping version... -
Quote:I wasn't TELLING YOU about /cleartray...(sigh)
I did not ask about the cleartray.
Amazingly enough, /cleartray does not address this issue in the slightest, nor does it make it any better that I have to hand-pick and place every damn power I wish to have any interactive control over.
PRIMARY POWERS IN TRAY ONE.
SECONDARY POWERS IN TRAY TWO.
POOLS IN TRAY THREE.
Any leftovers, ehn, I'm not asking for perfection, here.
Why would anyone ever pay the dev's for the privilege of using this current system? It's literally punishment to re-engineer a toon.
To make this clearer: Does the Dev team dislike making money? So why does this system, which is a money maker and has been a money maker LONG before freedom was implemented, NOT WORK WELL?I was just saying that while respecs make a mess of your tray(s), I'm glad we at least have the "/cleartray" command. It gives a clean start.
Should the Dev's make any sort of "tray effort", I'd love to seem them find away that we can save the current tray layout before "we" start your respec. I know this isn't a new idea, nor even my idea, but I still think it's a great idea.
