  1. I love my MA/Regen. Learn to love the stuns and knockbacks. Making effective use of them makes you all the mightier, because the fewer mobs able to attack you, the faster your health can climb back up. I didn't take Warrior's Challenge or Crippling Axe Kick - never been a big fan of taunt powers on my scrappers (I mostly solo), and didn't really feel I needed an immob. The only regen power I skipped was Revive - unless you're really being careless you won't die often enough to need it, and if you do you're likely to be in a crowd of enemies who will just slap you down again, since it's a rez that doesn't give you any buffs. I recommend working Tough and Weave into your build if you can. I went without them for the longest time, then when I finally caved and respecced into them it drastically improved my survivability.

    Good luck!

Nothing's set in stone either, remember we LOST the Croatoa building cuz too many people said it broke immersion (in a zone that has a twenty story pumpkin and a loch ness monster :P)

Good. i hope we LOSE a few more of them. There's too damn many of them. They're like Starbucks. I doubt anyone has ever been running missions in Croatoa and said, "Damn, I really want to run some MA arcs but alas, the tram is SO far away! Curse you, devs, for taking away the invaluable Croatoa AE building!!!"

now, my question is, at levels less than 10 are you really going to use the tailor rather than just re-roll?

I can see circumstances where you would. I've got some old lowbies who, if I decided to pick them up again, I wouldn't want to lose their old anniversary badges.

I still think it's easy enough to get to the existing tailors though.

actually you can have the porter with out being able to get into the vip room. you need the vip gold club member badge if im correct to get into the vip room.

Am I going senile? Doesn't the VIP Gold Club Member badge GRANT the teleporter power? (It's actually called Pocket D VIP Pass). Is there another way to get it now?

Well yeah, but if you don't have the porter you can't get into the VIP room.

AP is already far too crowded as it is. If they were to put in a lowbie tailor (something I don't think is terribly necessary anyway), I would hope it would go in Galaxy City.

Also remember, if you have the Pocket D teleporter, there's a tailor in the VIP room now.

As it stands, 35 seems to be the minimum cutoff for permanent co-op. Change that before worrying about the rest.

    [/ QUOTE ]

OK, fine, then you put the AE building on a floating rock like the ski chalet, put a door that connects to it in the wall of Pocket D, and code it so you have to be 35+ to get through the door. I agree 100% that it makes no sense to have what is ostensibly an entertainment company set up shop in an active war zone.

Plus it FITS the D better than it fits the RWZ, don't ya think?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Agreed 100%. I was just thinking last night that they really went overboard with the AE buildings when they decided to put one in almost every city zone. I was expecting maybe 3 blueside, 2 redside. Put them in the less crowded zones to disperse the population a little. And I was just baffled when I saw one in the RWZ. It just doesn't make a lick of sense from a story standpoint. Obviously Cimerora would make even less sense, and putting them in PVP zones would be problematic. Pocket D is the only cross-faction zone where it would feel "right."
  9. Then again, on Christmas Eve I got an Armageddon proc and a Hecatomb proc less than an hour apart, so your mileage may vary.
  10. No, just maneuvering in the air like I always did. Just ignore me. I'm probably imagining it.
  11. No, this is on a low level alt who I haven't played in a long time. That's why I haven't used Hover in awhile - my main doesn't use it.
  12. I've been going through all my alts, fixing the ones that needed it with the free respec, and it seems to me that hover is significantly faster than it used to be. It's been awhile since I used hover, so maybe I'm just imagining it. Has anyone else noticed a difference?
