statesman is a pretty ideal candidate for an uberkheld merger... i might just make that costume now, Kheldian Statesman

Maybe if the game would let you preview the bits BEFORE unlocking..oh wait, that would be logical. Letting people SEE what they are spending reward points on before hand. Especially since all the store bought bits can be previewed. -
Hey folks -
Just wanted to drop a note that it's been a lot of fun to level my Peacebringer (Young Boyue) on your server. Looking forward to hitting 50 and then doing off-hours Incarnate content with you folks. -
I run a mastermind, but I found it to be too slow and cumbersome, not free to fly around and whack things themselves. I felt like something kinetic was removed from my gameplay with them.
Efficient and effective AT, though. -

Here's a question that I'm sure comes up every whipstitch -
So I'm a returning player, know the previously existing systems well. I've figured out most things, but what I'd love to do is take my character and run him through the awesome-looking Incarnate content.
One question: in what order should I do stuff? I know to do the Mender story arc, that much is pretty simple, but what about the raids themselves?
How much time should I reserve for the raids?
Thanks - just really admiring all this awesome content and would love to play along. -
Totally possible. Hopefully not the case. I'd be way relieved if it was just me.
A few more posts like yours, and I'll kill the topic, just want to be sure. -

Hey -
CoHTitan (and their Wiki) appear to be compromised with a fake antivirus ad. It's pretty clearly malignant.
Can we get a mass community warning to stay away, do NOT obey the instructions on the screen, and the site shut down until the system is purged and verified to be bug-free?
Thanks. -

Fun thread.
Most of my suggestions deal with endgame problems. I think that Peacebringers could use their abilities shuffled a bit during the leveling process and probably gain too much at endgame from IO's versus their gain during the leveling process.
1) Modify Cosmic Balance / Dark Sustenance so that it modifies defense vice resistance. Khelds already get a lot of resistance in their trees; a little defense per appropriate teammate would go a long way towards a real bonus in survival over the resistance, which generally is capped out on endgame Kheldians regardless. Given that it's 10% per, make the defense bonus 5% per appropriate teammate for an identical relative survival return.
2) Animation speed pass OR damage cap upgrade. Khelds have slow animating attacks in general which locks their raw activity potential, be that in damage or support, to the speed of their abilities. Khelds also can gain a truly monumental damage modifier between buffs (either double-Mire or stacked Inner Light) and their innate Cosmic Balance / Dark Sustenance design. In endgame teams, Kheldians are typically damage capped at all times regardless of Sunless Mire / Inner Light usage, between enhancements, IO / Incarnate bonuses, buffs from teammates, and their innate ability. One of the two should be fixed for i23, and I'd lean towards fixing the damage cap and looking at animations afterwards since it's substantially tougher.
3) Implement common sense fixes suggested elsewhere. Things like rapid form shifting, toggle suppression fixes, all that good stuff deserves at least a gander. Epic pools are interesting but would have to be very carefully created to avoid breaking the generalist mindset of the Kheldian.
Long term I'd like to see a substantial redesign of the Peacebringer, as we don't have near enough non-dps utility to differentiate us from Warshades. We'd probably need to turn one of the shields into an AoE self and ally buff (or perhaps them all and Essence Boost) before we'd cross the threshold into a more support-oriented toon. It might too late for the Peacebringer to have that kind of radical redesign. -
C'mon devs, don't miss this chance.
15 Empyrean merits...
or 1200 paragon points. -
Dib died, eh?
Well, he was a good Sailor Moon writer.
Wish he had calmed down somewhat. Kind of a divisive figure in that sense. Guess we'll never know what drove him to be abrasive. -
ET was overpowered, deal with it.
They really should go make a numbers pass at the old sets. Need to change Rage, lower Foot Stomp's damage, take a hard look at Lightning Rod (probably doesn't need to deal quite that much damage), buff Electric Blast, and a host of smaller things to affect general set balance, so that player A isn't mocked by his peers for taking set A or B.
Won't happen, though; no money in it. -
Why did you choose to avoid most human form abilities?
I ask because I'd like to raise up a Peacebringer and it seems like the diversity of abilities is the main attraction of the Peacebringer. -
Hey - if I slot in an IO set bonus that gives (for example) +2.0% damage, will my pets be affected by that damage increase, or is it just abilities that I use directly?
As an aside, if there's a central thread or source of information concerning Mastermind IO slotting specifics, I'd love to see it (and not create redundant threads).
Thanks. -
As title. I'm reading and absorbing info as fast as I can, but it sure would be nice to know if there's a global MA channel out there to ask questions and find testers. I know I'd love to test some arcs, see how things are going.

ELECTRIC BLAST NEEDS BUFFS NOT NERFS

Bruce:
Welcome aboard. I do hope you enjoy your time at Cryptic Studios.
To what extent are you involved in the mission creator? Also, these fantastic tools that you and your fellow mission designers have access to -- will those of us on the outside have access to ALL of them as well? -
J, eh?
Interesting.
That explains War Witch's constant forum absences. All is forgiven, Melissa. We understand that you couldn't help yourself. -
This is a pretty remarkable series, Scrapulous.

We accomplished that goal, but in the end some of the Archetypes felt left out, since they didnt have the build to contribute to the huge Archvillain fights that the Lord Recluse Strike Force was built around (we took our learnings forward from this).

SOME of the ATs felt left out!?!?!?! Um try more then half. It has been proven that Doms, Stalkers, and MM can contribute to it. Though usually ATs just still come along mostly as veng fodder.
I am hopeful that they are not goning to make the same mistake they did with the end of Recluse's challenge.

I could not agree more. I am already disgusted with this and it has not even gone to test yet. I just feel that they really go over board with the whole Good always has to beat Evil thing. This is why the RSF will never be balanced. If the Statesman TF allows all AT equal roles I am really going to be pissed at this TF. At this point even if they go back and change the SF the damage is already done. It would have to some over the top changes that would make the whole SF uber easy if you had all villain ATs instead of the 1 */stone brute and 7 */rad corrupter setup. That will be the only way things will change for the better. I know the RSF is beatable with a mixed team, the time I did it was a mixed team but when the majority feel you need the uber team setup then it just makes it that much harder for things to finally change.

Heh, I love this.
AAAAAAAAAAAARGH! I HATE IT BECAUSE IT EXISTS! -

Oh, and yeah, Electrical Blast could use a tweaking here and there, but mostly to its 8th tier power, Voltaic Sentinel. Give it a second attack and a PBAoE Lightning Field-esque power (y'know, like the description implies) and we'll be satisfied.
