Theres a thread in the Scrapper forum that has Elec/Shield and Fire/Shield builds at different budgets.
My Fire/SHield doesn't run perma hasten, but runs the Cremate-Incinerate-GFS chain and is softcapped to all 3 positionals. Add in T4 Cardiac for End reduction, T4 Interface, T4 Rebirth, T4 Pyro Judgement and Lore and you have yourself a pretty wicked combo. Thats all without any PvP IOs -

Can't wait for the new shinies! I need to start hoarding some more Emp and astral merits.
As for the new buffing, I wonder if it would be possible to make it like the Fortune telling buffs and being able to accept it or not.
Memphis Bill would probably be a lot happier. To be honest I can see his point. I used to play on a rig that would basically lag me out if I had SB..
But theres more good than bad here, so I'm happy for that! -

Apparently Sony will have ALL services back online by the 31st. Online play could be back sooner. I doubt Sony wants to have online gaming down for the rest of the month.

@ Mauk, This doesn't sound like a bad idea at all. I love the feel of EM, my friend has an EM/EA brute and i love chain induction, it's fun to watch...im anxious to see what its like to have lightning rod..
Do you think it would be possible to bind BOTH TP powers to the L Click button on the mouse, and just click once and then click again just like having multiple toggles binded to one key..? or might it be easier to bind lightning rod to left, and shield charge to the right. lol
I do love this suggestion, and I'll defiantly take your suggestion for Reactive interface just because the resistance debuff is hard to come by. What's swaying me away from fire/ is that I have a DP/Fire blapper, so i'm worried that playing on a fire/shield will feel the same, and even though it IS fun...i'd rather not repeat the same attacks paired with a different lover, so to speak.
Lightning rod is fun, but Elec/Shield is good basically for just burst AoE. You'll find the single target attacking frustrating while you wait for the big AoEs to recharge. If you want to do ungodly AoE, roll a Fire/Mental, or Arch/Mental blasters. But thats just my opinion. -
I'm thinking the next powers will be
1) Melee or ranged ST power.
2) a hold or immob power
3) a debuffing power
4) Passive buff power like Alpha but different effects.
5) Damage aura power. -
When my wife and I were talking about baby names before we knew the sex we did check a lot of lists to make sure we didn't use any of those names.
My wife really wanted to use Isabella, (and yes she is a Twilight fan) but then I told her that if we have a boy I'm going to make sure his name is Vegeta.
That pretty much put an end to any names after fictional characters.
Now we have a healthy little boy who is named after his Dad and grandfathers. -
I love these articles where parents name their Kids after movie characters and they write it as if it's never happened before.
I have cousins in their 20's, their names are Luke and Leia.... I doubt very much that I'd have to explain that to anyone here. -
I have both an Elec/Shield and Fire/Shield scrappers, both IO'd out and to be honest I'd go with the Fire/Shield. The AoE is more than enough to take down mobs, and if you have a decent build with recharge you'll probably be close enough to Elec's AoE output.
It's the single target attacks that you will like more with Fire Melee. Get Reactive Interface and the Destiny heal power and you're laughing.
Now that I'm almost at T4 for all my incarnate powers, I'm even thinking of gutting my Elec/Shield and IOing another 50 to do more incarnate stuff.
Fire/Shield in my opinion is hands down better than Elec/Shield. -
I'll definitely be seeing be seeing this. I wonder if the other Prime in this movie brought some friends to help?

I've had my run in with CS recently also. I was on a BAF run, just got my Emp Merit, and a Rare roll when I mapserved. I logged back in and my Emp Merit was gone along with my reward table. It took them 4 days to get back to me, they checked the logs and couldn't find out why I lost the rewards.
I basically got the "oh well.. too bad, better luck next time" routine.
Is it me or would you guys give the customer the benifit of the doubt and get them what they were missing?
I could see if I was a serial complainer to CS, but I NEVER use CS unless I have somethign to contact them about. -
They need Super Kami Guru to haunt Piccolo like Nappa haunts Vegeta in the next season!

I can speak for Reactive. It does have the +fire damage proc and the -Res.
I am going with the 75% chance of +fire dam, 25% -res Very Rare.
The extra damage does add up quickly and the -res isn't anything super special.
I would be interested to see it with a Spine/Dark or Spine/Fire as Reactive does proc with the Damage auras. -
I'm currently working on my Fire/Shield scrapper for the new incarnate slots but I'm not sure what Destiny, Interface or Judgement slots to use for my Kin/Rad.
Lore I'm definately going to use the Vickies for the melee. The others I'm not so sure.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to use for a Defender>? -
PLaying on Justice last night at one point there were 3 BAFs forming at once.. They all filled.
It's probably safe to say that a good portion of the playerbase is enjoying these trials a lot! I know I do!
I can't wait for the Keyes Island and Underground trials to go live! -
On my Fire/Shield Scrapper I have T2 Interface and Judgement, then got my T3 Lore on my first Trial last night. Then a couple trials later I got another Rare drop and was able to craft my T4 Destiny!
Next I will be going for my T3s on Judgement and Interface.
I'm not sure how other servers have fared, but I haven't been on a failed trial on Justice since day 1. -
I took the heal on my Fire/Shield scrapper. It's currently a T4, so my +200 % regen is now perma, and the heal itself when it's up is over 900.
A nice "oh crap" power. -
A tier 3 Destiny wasn't hard to get after you unlock it if you get some luck with the reward tables.
Astral Merits convert to shards, Emp merits also. A couple days and a T3 isn't hard to achieve. -
Nothing like finishing a BAF, getting a Rare drop, then getting Mapserved out of the game, then coming back to find the Emp Merit and Rare drop are gone....
ugh -
After 2 days Justice has pretty much gotten these trials down to an art form.
I didn't fail at a single Trial yesterday and with a lucky rare drop I have my T3 on Destiny and T1s on the other new slots.
In another week when most people have a lvl shift or 2 the trials will be pretty easy!
IT doesn't take much to get threads with all teh Astral Merits and the Emperyian merit. -
Give it a week or two when people start slotting the Rares in Destiny and Lore to get the incarnate shifts.. Suddenly these lvl 54s are only Yellow now..
Teams, all with Judgement roasting the mobs, AVs getting debuffed to hell due to attacks, Pets adding that extra little punch, and taking a few shots for you. The Destiny powers, giving all the buffs you could ever need.
I cashed in a lot of Shards, Astral Merits and turned them into Incarnate XP. I've got all 4 new Slots unlocked. Destiny will be filled up first, Lore 2nd. The incarnate shifts will be awesome!
Soon there will be 15 min Lambdas. The people who keep on complaining need to relax!
