Bah, I am young enough that I remember coming home from Junior high school to watch the 'robotech' series hosted by Captain Chesapeake. It proved to me that people could DIE in cartoons, and it was COOL, even if the stories were rewritten for 'Stupid Americans'.

I haven't been this disappointed in a game update since I6 and ED. Its always been clear that the game developers didn't necessarily have the game resources to devote to balancing villain vs. hero PvP, but now its even more clear that they just don't give a [censored].

Reading through this thread, I saw the recent response to now long-departed Erratic, and followed a trail of his posts back to the now infamous "Missing Patch Note" thread.

One thing I'll say - confidence in the Positron / Castle / BAB dev group is infinitely higher than the Statesman / Geko dev group. I mean, wow, talk about a dev team that had completely lost its playerbase.

For folks that are nervous about BAB's recent comment on activation times, I think a little perspective may be in order.

Follow Up + Death Shroud is just so sweet at low levels.

I noted, Zombie Man, that the red "enrage" flames from Assault still show up as well. I'm assuming this has something to do with the leadership power set.

Ran a respec with Lord of Belain, U-Mann and Switchgear this weekend on some of our 20s characters. That was a min/max'd extravaganza of PvE slaughter. 1 death, and that was because I was being stupid.

I don't have the words either. This is ... just absurd. Just ... ridiculous. I used to ignore people when they said that Statesman was a &lt;censored&gt; or a liar. I honestly thought that he just needed better PR. But the guy flat out said that they were done balancing the game. And now this? Ah, well. I guess I got something out of month-to-month billing and not preordering CoV.

I will agree with this.

My BS/Regen (a hair away from lvl 31) has been my most fun character to date - in large part due to comments and guides from regulars in the regen lounge.

Hacking up bad guys with a big &lt;censored&gt; sword while having a decent supply of endurance = best, EVER

Circeus identified a boatload of Ice Armor bugs / relevant issues that need to be addressed.

Sir, open raids really aren't the answer.

Take a look at what is happening on the Champion server - trip mines, novas, you name it, all in the name of hoarding Hamidon enhancements.

The developers have a miserable reward system in place that in most cases does not truly reward a large portion of the folks at an open raid.

While you and your supergroup have done an admirable job of figuring out the Hamidon, time after time and have INDEED put in the kind of effort that I see you defending in this thread, a LARGE portion of the 45+ populace with HOs has sadly not done the same.

Please keep this in mind, and best of luck in the arena.
