    Screw Rad blast

Dark Blast is for n00bs. Everyone knows AR is the way to go.
  2. Did anyone mention Rorschach? Think about it

-Goes down fighting a superior police force, wounding anything within reach before finally getting dogpiled. Very Scrapperish!

-Gets his butt kicked by an AV.

-Insults Nite Owl, a weaker, less Scrappier Scrapper.

    -Dies on his feet!

    Just one more comment here:

A lot of recent posts claim that in the late game, with IOs, EA can be plenty strong. That's almost an obvious conclusion.

It is, however, of limited value when performing set balance comparisons. For that, the current datamining principle for set balance will focus generally on actual builds throughout the levels. This will almost necessarily favor builds with limited or no IO enhancement, at least through the lion's share of the game. This is not where EA shines.

In fact, one of the biggest concerns I'd have with the somewhat pervasive idea of changing out CP for an enhanced power is that it comes late.

I am maybe 55% done with a comprehensive ??/EA Guide, which details every primary possible, broken down into 10 level gaps for each said primary.

At no point are IO's (cept for some generic ones) involved.

Just trying to get my FM/EA finished. I don't play with anyone I know (in fact, I developed a 3rd account just for this!), as to avoid "we know your playstyle" arguments.

I avoid data-mining... my guide will be based on sheer visible performance.

    Want to die...

What is the virus? Name? Give us something. We can help.

I remember the first time I got the Vundo virus, before the removal program was out. It was horrendous, but I still managed to recover my files and fix it.

  10. Waterspout and AS seem fairly important. As does Placate.

AV's don't tend to run from my fears, but even if they do, you can start stacking caltrops loaded with procs to do some impressive damage for your minimal buck. At the very least... set mule?

I have the same thoughts on BP, SF, ToF, and SM... I'd use any I could fit in as set mules.

Summon Guardian... hmmmm.... he looks kind of "mule-ish," doesn't he.

It seems your build is going to be fairly close to my AV Killer red side, which is DM/WP (brute, but I'm focusing on DM). Are you planning on the usual MG --> Smite ---> SL ---> Smite ----> MG attack chain? Or the crazy, proc'd out buzzsaw chain?

I've seen some mind-boggling DPS on the buzzsaw build, but it is prone to highs and lows, which doesn't seem like what you need. Slow and steady, etc, etc.

Honestly, whatever the player actually playing the corruptor picks will do you fine in the long run. It's more important they are playing a set they find fun in such a group than to min/max for such a small team.

  18. Greetings.

I've always had a good time exploring the possibilities the Menders present, as a group. Though they seem altruistic in their endeavors to change time, I got the idea they were more than meets the eye after watching Serenity.

"They think they can make people... better."

Running with this, I came to the realization that the Menders think they can make time and reality better through their various exploits.

In this arc, you are contacted by an extradimensional being, who is canonically suppose to be the reason Devon Wilcox (Dark Watcher) came back to this dimension. Having failed to use Devon as They're hammer, the god(s) decide to use you.

This is a neutral arc, as you will be doing both heroic and villainous things: it all comes down to a final confrontation with the Menders and the source of their power: the god buried inside the crystal.

    Here is the opening dialogue:

The Demon of Ice and Fire
    Breaking the Tesseract

"I'm glad we finally have the chance to meet face-to-face, [you]. I, and my partners, have watched you for a very long time. Although I appear human to you, I am everything but. I am an amalagamation of consciousness, an illusion that is supported by the simple four dimensional parameters your reality exists in.

Regardless of my origins, you may call Us the Abyss Watcher. We have journeyed far to enlist your aid, [you]. The last person We attempted to persuede to Our side was a powerful hero named Devon Wilcox; you may know him. It was his failure that brought us to this point.

The Menders, [you], it all started with them. They attempt to make time... better. A folly only achievable my man. Unknown to most, they serve a darker purpose, a single mission that will have severe reprecussions for your world and the Multiverse as a whole. Are you ready to save the very fabric of the cosmos, [you]? We think you are."

(The arc contains custom factions and EB/AV's. I solo it with my softcapped EA, so it shouldn't be too difficult. The final EB/AV may present a challenge to some.)

Its part of the AI change made with i15. The enemies are now starting with thier defenses active. it used to be they would be passive until attacked, but now its right from the start, and Grant Cover is powerful when there are 10 of them all giving bonuses to the other 9.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Well....

    Darn. O.o
  20. RadDidIt

    Possible ITF Bug

95ish% accuracy on SD, as well as an accuracy buff of about 30% from global bonuses. If they are using Phalanx Fighting, its too high. If they are all using Grant Cover, its not fair!

    Possible ITF Bug

I'm fairly sure having them all with capped defense is a bug, guys.
  22. RadDidIt --> RadPhail

    Solar One --> Terra Two

What? I did not understand that. It had nothing to do with lag.

    [ QUOTE ]
Thankfully, I had a fully charged Analyzer M III, and although I did not get a pic of it, the MINION that I analyzed had 56% defense to everything I could see.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And no, it wasn't just in the canyon of lag. It was everywhere.
