Quote:Possibly Hamidon somehow. The Devs stated a large chunk of the Praetorian world is overrun with Devouring Earth. Of course, Hamidon Prime and his Devouring Earth is not known for subtlety, so a Praetorian version would have to vary on that point.
A fair point there. A giant, single celled monster sitting in the open (or even lightly concealed) would be utterly annihilated. Not only would Cole try to rip him apart with his bare hands, but it has also been demonstrated that the Emperor would not hesitate to nuke everything in a 1000 mile radius around Hamidon.
I'm with you. A far more insidious and subtle Hamidon seems likely. -

Quote:Well we know there are is no Praetorian Clockwork King... but the clockwork are right in the open.Quote:We also know the Praetorian "clockwork" were built by Neuron and Anti-Matter.
People never give the Clockwork King enough credit. He murdered an entire planet with his MIIIIIIIND. -
Well, the bit about not picking up brain activity...
Nemesis automatons are VERY life like, to the point that the unique ones can perfectly mimic super powered heroes (Nemesis actually created an artificial Manticore, Posi, and other members of the Phalanx to instigate the Rikti War). I think it would be a small feat to create some kind of psionic device to throw Mother Mayhem off.
Automatons: "All hail Emperor Cole!"
Tyrant: "Sounds right." -
Reflective... sunglasses..... oooooOOOOooooo

Has anyone thought that, maybe, Nemesis is WORKING for Emperor Cole? Perhaps enslaved by Mother and her Seers?

Quote:See, that's the part that makes people doubt the purity of his motives
I dunno, Statesman has the ability to more securely control the criminal element in his city, but doesn't.
Perhaps Emperor Cole, while also serving his own ends, sees it as his duty to control that which he released (Pandora's Box).
I bet in Praetoria nobody has to worry about getting their purse snatched every hour of every day. -

Quote:And he's not some office Patton, either. His boots are on the ground, empowering the loyal citizens of Praetoria with his presence.Hes the light at the end of the tunnel. :P
But seriously he gets the job done, in the most efficient way possible.
Unlike The Statesmen, who whines about moral obligations. And allows his enemies reprieve. (Although, this is actually a weakness, as demonstrated by Superman/Ultraman in Infinite Crisis. >.>) -
Quote:Good and Bad are just points of view, just beacuse you wear sunglasses, blocking out the light of Cole, dosent mean everyone else is wrong.
I believe in the Cole Constitution of Command, section 6, paragraph 9, addendum 2, it says:
A citizen of Praetoria may not wear sunglasses at night. You will not keep hidden your track of vision, and bask in the radiance that is the gaze of Emperor Cole.
Addendum 3 also references Marauder's Law, which states he is exempt for the reason he states: "so I can, so I can." -

Reporting for duty for glorious Cole Empire. In Cole Empire, freedom is given to you!

Quote:I still want to know who wrote those notes we find doing the Ouroboros arc.
Perhaps it is the Praetorian (or otherwise) Dark Watcher?
There are only a handful of beings in CoH Lore with the power to time travel. Dr. Aeon is out, because he'd never be that blatantly helpful.
The Dark Watcher seems to be one of the few people who idly tears about dimensional barriers (accordingly, he was "thrown" into dimensions with monsters blah blah, but at some point he must have learned to manipulate his dimensional travels, and did not instantly return to Earth). It is conceivable he managed time travel.
Then theres the DESTINY portal, which, given its open nature, could have thrown any number of powerful beings into the Twisting Nether (oops, wrong game).
And, my favorite candidate, is the Clockwork King. I know, I know, its hard to see, but the CK is the most powerful psychic, period (some people contend Penelope is stronger, but the Portal Corp mission with him having mentally slaughtered the entire population of Earth would seem to tip the balance in his favor). With such an extreme ability, and his ability to effortlessly control thousands of beings at once, it is conceivable he could rip apart dimensions (just look at the Dream Doctor and Rularuu for an example of mental powers used to alter dimensions). The intelligence to control innumerable agents throughout time, a powerful psychic... sounds like someone who Lord Nemesilos would be at odds with.

Files verified, everything good. Click launcher, hit start, and the loading bar comes up, then it goes to switch resolutions (havent had a chance to fix the resolution on Test, yet) and then... nothing.
Black screen of semi-coma. I can alt-tab or kill the process to get out of it. Any suggestions? -
I will remain here, a beacon for all the lost souls who dare wonder the plundered wasteland of the ghost boards, giving shelter to all who seek it!
What? >.> -
Since Praetoria is "lol mirror world!," I think we should go to the antonym of "influence..."
Impotence.
"Wow, you got the impotence badge!"
"I have so much impotence!"
"Wanna do an impotence transfer?"
"I'm so full of impotence, I don't know what do!"
"I need to give some of my alts some impotence." -
Can we nominate Zekiran for most awesome person of the month?
I vote yes.
